10/10 quality, service, and communication (and price!)…read more Contacted Benson, sent him a photo of the windows needing repair. He gave me the price per hour for labor, and the price for the parts he thinks would need replacing ($5-$15 a part). He came by literally the very next day, fixed everything within under an hour (and explained what he was doing), and I owed him exactly the price he had told me the day before. Could not ask for a better experience: utmost professionalism, very skilled, very quick, great price, explained everything. I could not recommend his services more strongly!! The window's fixed, doing better than it ever has! (Top window was sliding down and had balance issues, bottom window was popping out of the frame, they're both sturdy and fixed now).

We tried to work with Shawn Kelly of Farmington, NY and his in house staff but received many promises and no follow through. I would avoid working with Windowrama. We contacted them in February 2026 any to date have not heard back from them with a final order follow up and it's now July 2026. (Avoid at all costs )

The person working there knew very little about the products (e.g. didn't even know there is a contemporary style option for various Andersen doors). He was also very rude. When I asked basic questions about how large particular windows in the showroom were, "Large enough" was the answer. That was followed shortly by "This is not a public showroom. This is for WindowRama customers only." Do people place orders before they go to the showroom? Seems pretty backwards. We were looking for 40+ windows and a patio slider. Terrific experience from start to finish…read more I had a terrific experience with NYC Glass & Window Repair. Daria was a wonderful initial point person and stayed in touch throughout the process by phone and text. Vova came out for the initial assessment and measurements, and he was patient, kind, and really listened to what I needed. The initial estimate was more than I could afford, and I thought I'd have to contact several other companies for bids. Oliver worked with me to bring the price closer to my budget, and I was able to skip that exercise. I also decided to handle the glazing and weatherstripping myself. Michael and Ivan came to do the work, and they were thorough, quick, and resourceful. These are very old windows, and they encountered some obstacles along the way, but they figured things out and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up beautifully and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Everyone I dealt with was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The workmen's primary language is Ukrainian, so their English was sometimes limited, but this was easily handled because there was always someone in the office available to communicate with both of us in either Ukrainian or English. I've had plenty of experience with workmen whose first language isn't English, so this wasn't an issue for me. I also really appreciated the way the company combines technology with personal communication. Everything is handled efficiently, but you never feel like you're being left to deal with technology on your own. There was always a real person keeping in touch. The entire team is Ukrainian, which was particularly meaningful to me as an East Village resident and a Veselka old timer. I was very happy to support them. This is the way business should be done. Five stars without hesitation!
