In August 2017 we hired Whitestone Contracting to do a complete renovation of our kitchen and…read moremaster bathroom. Our COOP required a number of permits and insurances to do the work in the building and Rene was able to provide all of them. Upon completion of the project we experienced a problem with the construction of the bathroom floor. The tile floor was put in a full inch and a half below the toilet flange. This gross oversight that made it impossible to install a toilet. It cost me an additional $700 to bring in a plumber to repair their mishap! A year and a half later in February 2019 we began to experience a number of problems with the tiles that were installed in the bathroom. The tiles in the shower wall where the fixtures are located began sinking into the wall. There were also a number of tiles on the adjoining walls that were becoming loose. The grout in between these tiles began falling out. I was concerned that the water from the shower would get behind the tiles and we would experience mold! I contacted Rene and he came to inspect the work that was done in the shower. He had no explanation of how this could have happened. It was quite obvious though, the workers didn't use nearly enough cement to adhere the tiles to the newly constructed walls. A cost cutting short cut for sure! A date was set to make the repairs. Since I did not have any leftover tiles he asked me to procure some more tiles and he would reimburse me. I stayed home from work while they made the repairs. It was a good thing I did because I found the workers trying to reattach tiles that were chipped. I pointed this out to them and they recut them before being installed. About 7 months later we began finding a whole new batch of tiles in the bathroom coming loose. After several weeks of reaching out to Whitestone I received a number of excuses why they were unavailable to come back again to do more repairs. I remained persistent and continued to call, in order to hold them to task. We finally set a date and they were actually very helpful. They even took it upon themselves to pick up the tiles and provided all supplies. I regret not being able to be home that day from work to oversee what was going on. Even though the tiles seemed firmly affixed several of the tiles installed are chipped and uneven. At the end of the day we are stuck with a job that shows a complete lack of attention to detail and workmanship. In the days that followed I sent a number of texts and emails to try to get an explanation of the unsatisfactory work. I only received a text from Rob saying how he was sorry and would address it with his guys on Monday and that he would call me. I never received any call. In addition, I was never reimbursed for the tiles I had to pick up from the first repair. After two years of living with Whitestone's lack of professionalism I am left feeling like my only recourse would be to pursue this in small claims court. As the pictures show for the thousands of dollars we paid for our bathroom this is not an example of a professional installation. Based on my terrible experience it would behoove you to stay away from these guys.

I look forward to supporting their business and keeping a tidy home!

DO NOT HIRE! This guy just completely F'd me over. Hired him to install shelves in my bathrooms and…read moreclosets. He put up some of the shelving in the bathrooms then said he ran out of anchors and that he'd be right back after he went to get some. Instead of coming back and finishing the work we hired him for, he texted to get more money (after quoting us a flat rate for the project) and said he wouldn't finish the job without being paid more. Since I had pulled ALL OF MY CLOTHES OUT of the closets in order to get the shelves done, we agreed, and then we Paypal'd him... and he never showed back up! Unreal. I called and he didn't answer, and texted to no response. He never texted back, never called back. On top of what kind of person does that, I also noticed that he didn't even screw in any of the screws into the shelves where they meet the brackets so they are not secured, and one bracket is upside down. So now I'm going to have to hire someone to fix his work, on top of hiring someone else to finish the job. Unbelievable. I'm pregnant and am trying to get my apartment unpacked. I pulled everything out of my closets today so that he could install shelving in there, and he didn't do any of those shelves before he left, even though I explained that to him. He only did a fraction of the shelves we hired him for (bathrooms only) and didn't even finish those so this is now a complete mess and we are out the $ we paid him for. Do not hire this person, he's a scammer with no conscience apparently and doesn't even do good work.

They show up on time and perform a thorough cleaning, including bathrooms, windows, the refrigerator, oven, and more. They sent two ladies, and it took them about 4 hours. Unfortunately, when my last tenants moved out, they cancelled the electricity service. I arrived around 7 PM and found two ladies cleaning the apartment with flashlights. I didn't know how "deep" the cleaning would be using the flashlights. But when I came back in the morning, everything was perfectly cleaned. I can only say great things about their services.

This was on Memorial Day, and I have guests coming over, which I had explicitly explained to her. She callously stated that their cleaners work at their own pace, not according to the scheduled time I had booked. This company's lack of professionalism and respect for customers' time is appalling.
