I'm surprised no one was there considering it was 11am on a Tuesday. We all ordered different things and shared. We got a combination of the eggs Benedict carbonara, the mushroom, avocado toast, the Blueberry pancakes, the chai granola, and butchers open sandwich. The blueberry pancakes were especially filling as it came drenched in a fresh blueberry sauce-I wish we had known that as we probably would've asked for the sauce on the side as it was soaking into every square inch of the pancakes. Even though some of the girls in our group did not care for poached eggs, they offered to do them hard boiled instead of scrambled which we had asked for-which I thought was a little bit odd. But overall, I thought it was a wonderful authentic breakfast experience. Overall, the proportions were both large and recently priced as most things were under $15. The drinks were also really delicious and it's nice that you were able to order a double mimosa for about $14. They had free water as well, and we sat at this really cute open, seated table in this very Instagramable garden. It was a relatively small shop and I'm surprised it wasn't busier, but we also came on a Tuesday morning. Overall, everything was really fresh and it was nice to be able to grab a quick bite.

The barista greeted us first in Czech, then English. As my friend and I do not speak Czech, this was extremely helpful. I got a chai latte that was one of the best I've ever had, and my friend got cold brew. We also bought a brownie and slice of banana bread to split. Everything was delicious. The coffee shop itself had a very minimal, yet welcoming atmosphere. A lot of locals came in and out, which is always a good sign. There is free WiFi. I'd highly recommend checking out this place if you'd like a cup of coffee away from all the tourists in other parts of the city.

While the coffee was definitely good, it was the overall experience that the shop, and Stano, provided that made it a noteworthy experience on the trip. I would definitely come back to Coffee Room to enjoy the great customer service, laid-back vibes, and comfy aesthetics. Thanks again to Stano for brining CR to life and serving up some delicious coffee.

However- this place can take a few tips from the best cafes in Europe. First of all don't advertise you're a coffee/bookshop if you aren't!!! This was one of the most disappointing of all things here. To come in and find a small bookshelf of Czech books that seem to be published by fra is interesting- but not enough to call yourself a bookshop. Secondly they allow smoking inside, is this not 2014? Get some ventilation or call it quits for smokers inside. Thirdly they only offer bleached white sugar. Again is this 1990 when raw sugar is not the king of cafes? I expected more cafe fra. You're lucky you have a nice place and staff to pick up your slack.

Great atmosphere, perfect service, waiter did great job staring me To a local Merlot that was fantastic, musty, slightly tannic, 1100 crowns. Beef tartar for app which perfect French bread toast. 3500 crowns all in, was way more than worth it. You need to make reservations in advance. We had to work to get in at 8:30 three days before- and we went on a Monday night. Chef apparently has a local CZ show which makes him celebrity. Strongly recommend
