This place is fine if you are looking to purchase games…read more On the other hand, if you are looking to sell games, this place is going to do worse than GameStop. I asked about selling various games and consoles, and not only did the customer service suck they also tried to tell me that my games are worth less than they are. A quick search online proved that they were worth 60-100 dollars more than they offered. After an attempt to haggle prices at least a little up (but still selling them cheap, or half-price) I was instead turned away. They just wasted my time. I have other gripes about their system of cash vs. in-store-credit, as I know other second-hand video game stores have easier ways of handling that system, and I was told I had to pick one or the other, I could not do partial credit. Overall I know that I have had better experiences here when I try to buy games or consoles, but trying to sell to them has quickly shifted my opinion on the store.

Guys, don't waste your time…read more Everything here is priced at or higher than eBay. This isn't POTENTIALLY a problem, except all of the games I found were missing manuals, were not priced at all, the discs were scratched, or the labels or inserts were water damaged/torn. There's no way these rough copies should touch Complete-In-Box average prices. Furthermore, Fud, if you're going to overprice something, don't do it at the very last second, as your customer is trying to pay for it. Next, if you have old price tags from previous retail locations, REMOVE THEM. You use two different styles of tags alone, I believe, so, why keep other companies' tags on the cases, too? It's misleading and confusing. Lastly, it's pretty lazy to not change out a jewel case or two on some of the pricier Dreamcast and PS1 games. Again, if you're going to charge at or above what someone could pay on eBay mobile during their lunch break, you should consider cleaning some of these games up and replacing the cases with official replacements. Or discount accordingly. Some of these games look like they are straight outta the yard sale.

I bought a used item from them and then realized that when I had got home they did not give me all of the parts that went with it. So the hour again back to Defiance to return the said item because the employee failed to give me what I had paid for and I was already pissed that I had to make a second trip to pick up something I should have been given in the first place, so I would rather have had my money back to help pay for the gas I had wasted. Only the owner wouldn't let me trade it back in even after I explained to him that I shouldn't have had to all the way back here to get the rest of what I paid for because of his neglectful employee, to which he told me: "I'm not giving you a refund because you were inconvenienced." Welp...I'd hate for to be an inconvenience when his business goes under from treating his customers like dirt. This is not how a small business owner should treat its customers. So the bottom line: Find another place to buy/sell/trade games/accessories because this owner does not deserve your business. If you still decide to buy from them after reading, then I hope you don't get screwed like I did.

I also brought three gameboy color games that I love to have the batteries replaced and to get repaired for another issue. Brought them in on a Sunday and had them back home by the following Thursday. It was only $80 to have the batteries replaced in three games, have them cleaned and one of them repaired, and to have my gameboy color fully taken apart and cleaned, AND have a new speaker and screen protector put in. It was a very reasonable price for all the work! My gameboy looked brand new! Highly recommend bringing your older games or consoles here if they are in need of repair. Also has a great selection of hard to find games and gave me a fair trade in rate for the gameboy color games I don't play anymore.

Prices on games not in-box and are just loose are reasonable at about what market rates are. Decent variety of handheld consoles, most of which are in a rotating case. They will clean the game once they sell it to you, and will even instruct it on how to clean it yourself for the future. They also do repairs for consoles. As the name suggests, this is really anything, and it is clear the people behind the counter are passionate and know a lot about the stuff they are selling. It is a little bit haphazard and there are some sections where stuff is kind of thrown together, but that is the flea market vibe. It is a bit of a trek but if you are looking for a serious video game purchase and want to avoid the Ebay nonsense, you should stop by Booth 31 for a visit.
