The owners Brian and Shelly said e can help, however let's do this in a way that can save you both money? I thought wow a company that wants to save me money!?! YES they did. They held my car on the property till the funds come in my bank and let that person's transportation company pick up the car keeping us both safe! Wow you don't see many willing to help others with out holding a hand out saying me....me....me... Now that they stepped up with this in definitely going to review some of the other great interfaces with them. I usually don't do these, however after this they definitely deserve my time to send these in for the great customer service they provided.

I called back later to cancel my reservation. when the person answered the phone, she immediately stated that she would have her manager call me back because they do not offer refunds. she did not inquire about my name or any information and when I asked, she stated it was on caller ID. that was on 10/31/25. It was not until today (11/4/25) that someone contacted me stating they would not give me a refund. I was also told that they texted me on Friday however I have no message from them. I do understand that they have a "policy" which I would not complain about. however, telling me that you are charging me for memories is absurd. there are several places that offer this for 1/2 the price. I think the situation was handled extremely poor from their perspective. I will not be continuing with the reservation

The first time I was in they had UGG house shoes for around $50 and the next time I came in they had Chacos for about $50. This may seem like a lot of money, but that is exponentially cheaper than you would find them anywhere else. But there are many many more affordable things also. I got some great thank you notes for four dollars and even found some really cute two dollar pillows and three dollar wine openers. They had some great clothes but none in the size I needed. You have to be in the right mood to come in here because sometimes you have to really look to find the great bargains but it is well worth spending the time to do so. It has become one of my favorite places to go because you never know what you will find, but it will always be at a great price.

This little locally owned glass shop on the east side of Elwood offers glass making demonstrations…read moreand has a gift shop filled with hundreds of pieces of in-house made products. We visited during the Elwood Glass Festival. The shop is in an older pole barn with parking on the side. The demonstrations were outstanding and fascinating. Master craftsman, Danny, made several paperweights while assistant, Wendy, narrated the process. It was mesmerizing to watch and the team welcomed questions. They described each step, while Danny worked. Watching Danny make glass was the highlight of our visit to Elwood. The gift shop next door was filled with all types of colorful and intricate glass items. There were paperweights, vases, ornaments and glass decor. The glass is marked and sold under the name Prestige. Prices were reasonable for a handcrafted work of art. I'm not sure the demonstrations are available everyday or not, so call before you go if you want to observe. They will make custom pieces. They also offer classes in glass making.

The independently owned shop sits behind the courthouse in Tipton, where there is free street parking and a public lot nearby. The shop is long and narrow with booths and cases filled with everything from glassware to Santa blow molds. It's the kind of stuff you'd expect to see in a small Midwest town. The building was dark inside, making it difficult to see details. Prices were pretty high, I thought. I didn't pick up anything, today, though tempted. The owner was sitting outside, greeting customers, while his wife was busy cleaning and organizing merchandise inside.

The space is beautifully arranged and the walls were covered with artwork that appeared to be local in origin. A competition of sorts had been held since I saw numerous ribbons next to paintings, sketchings, and photographs. I recall seeing that the prices on items that were for sale as being quite reasonable too. Not only is the showroom downstairs filled with art, but there is more space beyond the counter and even more, though not as much space, upstairs. The location is great too because the Artist Alley is next door and the IU-Kokomo art gallery is just about a block to the south, so for anyone who is interested in art, this is a convenient way to check out what the area has to offer. Note: Check out my review of the Sculpture Trail in Kokomo that is just a couple blocks to the west and south to see the current exhibit on display until 2021. There are also numerous murals downtown to see and more sculpture down on the IU-Kokomo campus. Kokomo is embracing the arts and as long as they do, I will keep returning to check out what is new.
