They offered milk substitutes for my friend who is lactose intolerant. Prices are pretty decent here. Banh mi is around $8 which is pretty standard but it's a really good banh mi. Drinks are also around $7-$8 depending on what you get. We went right after tet and we saw they had these cute reusable cups there, they said the promo was over but they gave us these cups for free since we bought enough. There is not much seating here, most people seemed to just pick up to go but our group likes to sit here and talk and it's a nice ambiance for it. It ended up tasting extremely bitter--more like strong black tea than anything strawberry. Paying $7 for a drink my kids wouldn't even touch felt like a waste. I went back to ask if they could make it sweeter or offer a different drink. I wasn't asking for a refund, just a chance to have a better experience. They added sweetener but it still tasted very bitter and said their policy doesn't allow to change drinks. To make things worse, staff were speaking to each other in another language right in front of me instead of communicating directly (when they both can speak perfect english), which felt unprofessional. Only come at promotion days when you get free tokens. Birthday you get free 18 tokens and large boba drink when you purchase anything. Mall of America location is worse with points (out to 1 decimal) instead of tokens which varies too much based on prize. Only added bonus is gatcha machines have nicer toys. Also different games but more points. Birthday gets you bonus with $28 worth of tokens and free large boba tea. They clarify that you still have to purchase minimum tokens for $18 so strings attached.
