I love the platters because you get a lot and my husband loves the schwarma/gyros because it's all wrapped up in a pita. We've had the rice and stuffed grapes leaves which are yummy sides and even gotten the Baklawa which was very authentic with a light rose water taste and not drenched in honey. Great mediteranean food at this new Taza location in Wake Forest. Everything inside is bright, shiny and new. It's an order at the line place- think Chipotle or Moe's. Service is quick and friendly. Ordering online is straightforward, only 10 minutes till food was ready. There are a half dozen tables for eat-in, plus a few outside for warmer weather. Tried a Mediteranean platter, which includes a chicken kabob, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and tabouli. Also comes with warm pita and a slice of baklava. The kabob is spiced and grilled to perfection. A nice crunch on the outside, hot and juicy on the inside. The hummus is creamy and garlicky, perfect for dipping the chicken and the pita. Tabouli is crisp and fresh, very tart. The only minor disappointment was the baklava. I was in the mood for Greek-style, dripping in honey. Taza is Lebanese-styke, more buttery and creamy. Still good but not what I was expecting. The falafel platter also delicious. Unique donet-shaped falafel and delightfully crispy and we'll seasoned. The Greek salad is missing the kalamata olives, but does include sliced green AND black loves. Tahini sauce for dipping is excellent. All in all a good meal. There's growing restaurant competition in Wake Forest. I think this one is a keeper! read more

Service was good, ambiance clean and okay. The food was not to my taste buds and stomach. Ordered to go the lamb dish with two sides and also ordered a gyro. The rice was placed in a styrofoam plate and put in the microwave to heat up, that was a no go for me. I didn't eat the rice It look like left over food. I expected stewed lamb meat, got shawarma/the lamb on the vertical cone which tasted ok, but hurt my stomach. My spouse liked the gyro sandwich. I wish this place well, but I will never eat there again. I wanted home style food, not the highly processed meat that I received. read more

This steak and cheese was delicious!! It's not your traditional American cheesesteak but it's possibly the best one I have had in Wake Forest thus far. I had the Gyro Lamb Platter with fries. My husband had then lamb gyro. It is always a nice plus when they provide a side of Taziki sauce upon request at no additional charge AND have additional condiments (ketchup, hot sauce etc.) also available. Everything was excellent but what I appreciated the most was the inviting customer service, this is always a necessity for me.
