I get my nails done at the salon a few doors from Charlie's Kabob's, and have been wanting to check them out. I went for dinner on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. There were a few families there dining when I arrived, and a couple of people in front of me. A lot of people arrived after I did. Charlie's Kabob's is very spacious, there's plenty of seating inside and some outside. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff was pretty friendly. I ordered the lamb kabob platter, and chose my side as spanakopita. It comes with pita and tzatziki. The food is made to order, which is great. There was kind of a wait, but I don't mind when it's made to order. I opted to dine in, so they brought my food to me. The presentation was ok. I was super excited to try the food. It wasn't love at first bite for me. The spanakopita was too greasy, but it would have potential if it was less greasy. The lamb was a bit tough, but was seasoned well. The tzatziki was perfect. On to the desserts. I absolutely love baklava and order it almost always at Mediterranean restaurants. It would've been delicious if it didn't have the stale refrigerator taste. The Greek donuts were good although a little over fried. Overall, I didn't love my meal as I hoped for. But I'd definitely give them another chance in a weekday.

charlie's kabob I was in Wake Forest and craving some mediterranean food, so Charlie's Kabob seemed like the perfect place to grab dinner to-go. I ordered around noon for pickup at 6:15 and my order was ready right on time. I definitely ordered too much food - the portion sizes are very fitting to the price. The greek salad came with tzatziki, tahini, and a spicy dressing on the side, which was creamy, perfectly spicy, and delicious in the salad. The salad was still fresh and crunchy lettuce leaves by the time we got home and ate it. The classic gyro was a solid take on a gyro, with the meat juicy and tender and the right amount of tzatziki to add that creaminess. The kafta kabob was seasoned perfectly - maybe a little dry but delicious when dipped in tzatziki. The chickpea salad was also seasoned nicely and made for a good, refreshing side. I also ordered a chicken kabob (not realizing how much food there already was in the order) and this was cooked and seasoned nicely as well, with good grill flavor. Lastly, ordering online came with a free dessert and they gave us greek donuts! These were delicious fried pastry balls covered in a yummy cinnamon sugar and cinnamon sauce. Overall this is a solid place for quick, mediterranean cuisine! Service and food were everything I could ask for from a fast casual Mediterranean place.

Recommended place if you are hungry and craving Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the veggie platter for takeout online. I was not sure by using the online ordering system if and how much falafel and pita it came with. Therefore as my sides I chose falafel, tabouli, and baklava and then paid extra for hummus and pita. As a result, I could not finish it all in one sitting - but it wasn't quite two servings. The falafel and tabouli were the stars of the show. The falafel had a great flavor and texture. The tabouli was also packed with flavor. The baklava was okay, too greasy and tough for my taste. The texture of the pita was ideal, however, it was cut up too small to hold anything. Pros: - Reasonable prices - Adequate portions - smaller than comparable restaurants, but enough to fill you up. - Fresh vegetables and herbs - Carryout and dine-in options available - Online ordering quick and easy - They offer whole wheat pita Cons: - Parking can be tricky if you go at a busy time

This Kabob shop is in a small shopping plaza and you may miss it if you didn't know it was there. Stopped for our first time this week for takeout after hearing about this place in a local moms group. Ordering by phone was quick and easy, the staff member was nice and able to answer all questions. The food was ready on time. Back at the house we found all of our meals to be the appropriate temperature for each dish, fresh and super tasty!!! We loved everything we ordered! Our options were the lamb kabob plate, small greek salad, taziki with pita, hummus and pita and the gyro meat super bowl. This will easily become one of our new favorites!!

Hercules Gyro and Small Greek Salad. I added my own Garlic Italian dressing. So good!

This was our first visit and we will come back. The food was fresh and warm. We won't eat in restaurants so we pick things up. The food was almost ready when we got there, and it was so fresh. We both had Hercules Gyro, and my husband had fries and I had side Greek salad. Everything was so good! We will be back.

Typically, the service and food here is delightful. But today, the service took a deep dive. I called to place an order for pickup, the lady who answered asked me to hold on and proceeded to talk to a coworker before hanging up on me. When I called back, a young man answered the phone. When I indicated I'd been hung up on, no apology was offered and he just proceeded to ask what I wanted to order. I provided my order a bomb platter, a chicken kabob kids tray, and an additional steak kabob. I had to ask what time the order would be ready. And was told 12:30. When I arrived at the restaurant at 12:30, I approached the counter and the unfriendly woman who had previously hung up on me told me you'll need to wait a few minutes, they're still packing your order. I'm standing at the register for 5 minutes with no attempts from her to ring me up. When they approach her with my packaged meals she gives me the total ~$26. I pay and then she lists my order afterwards. A bomb platter and two kids kabob meals. I indicated that this was not correct, that it should have been one kids tray with an additional kabob. She proceeds to roll her eyes, rudely. I'm not certain whether it was directed at me or the young man who took the order. She then restated the issue in a tone as if I was annoying her, by them getting my order wrong! She finally says, well they're the same price... an additional kabob and the kids kabob tray. (I'm not certain that is true...) I just left because I was disgusted with the attitude. She needs an attitude adjustment, fast. This is a horrible decline to a business that has always had kind, efficient employees.

    The Troy, with fried.

Stopped in for lunch at Charlie's. Excellent Mediterranean-style fast casual food. It's a varied menu with a wide variety of choices. You order at the counter, they bring the food to the table. There are about a dozen tables, plus a few outside. There's also a small market on one side where a variety of exotic sounding foodstuffs are available. I had the Troy, one of several pita combinations. The Troy is a generous portion of bite sized chunks of sirloin, garnished with diced tomatoes, fresh lettuce and topped with tzatziki sauce, all wrapped in a warm pita. The sirloin was great - very tender, medium rare, and cut into pieces small enough for one bite. The veggies are fresh and the store-made tzatziki creamy and delicious. I had a side order of fries as well.... Standard frozen fries but cooked nice and crispy, perfect for dipping in ketchup. The tab was $10.50, pushed to the expensive side by the $2.50 fries. The meal was delicious, as it always is, and the team is friendly and efficient. Recommended.

I've practically followed this place across states and cities. I discovered Aladdin's years ago when I lived in Northern Virginia. After that first visit, I was hooked and started going several times a year. When the Shirlington location closed, they reopened in Burke, and that became my new go‑to spot every time I visited the area. And then, heartbreak , they closed that location too. One day I randomly searched to see if they had opened anywhere else, and you won't believe it... they popped up right here in North Carolina, the same state I now live in! And while it's not in Charlotte, my brother lives in Raleigh, which means every trip to see him doubles as an excuse to visit Aladdin's. My usual order is the shawarma rolled, and trust me when I say it's the best! The savory, flavorful meat paired with those pickled veggies, plus all the heavenly spices and sauces, well t's just perfect! I've had shawarma at countless places over the years, and nothing even comes close to theirs. I typically grab an appetizer as well, dolmas or falafel. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish I've tried has been spectacular. Introduced my brother and wife to this place, and they've already been back! To give you an idea of how deep my love for this place goes, the last time I visited I ordered 4 extra shawarma rolls to go, froze them, and rationed them out at home. They don't hold up perfectly after being frozen but I did still enjoy every single one. Aladdin's will always be one of those rare restaurants that I go out of my way to visit and I'll continue to stop by as often as I possibly can. If you love Mediterranean flavors (Lebanese) this spot is a must!!!

Despite it being less than a week from Christmas and the shopping center it is in is quite hectic due to the holidays, I was able to find a spot by scavenging. I appreciate that the lot is very large, and people are always coming and going, so if you wait just a tad or if you park by Walgreens, you'll get a spot sooner, than later. I ordered the: - Taza Chicken Salad - 10/10 - delicious, flavorful and so much variety - Flavor Savor Special - 8/10 - the beef and the falafel was a bit dry that I couldn't finish (and I usually always finish my food) but the chicken thigh and everything else was licked up clean - Mango Smoothie - 10/10 - so refreshing, and you can tell, its super fresh Our server Leena was absolutely wonderful, she was so sweet, polite, helpful - just so gracious. I'd come again to try out different dishes, since they offer soooo many different things, but I'd probably avoid the beef and likely the falafel next time.

Neomonde is my instant pick for people who want to know what to eat around here in Morrisville…read more This restaurant is suitable for a business lunch, a decent dinner, and even if you know nothing about a person's particular palate, there will be something on this menu to satisfy. There are so many ways you can go with Neomonde's selection. They have a cold and hot bar selection where you can pick and choose things that you want right in front of you. They also have an a la carte menu where they make your food to order. And lastly, they have a small market of pita bread and other Mediterranean items that you can take home with you. The options themselves are plentiful. There are so many different types of dips, salads, wraps, kabobs, shwarmas, you name it! You're going to want it all once you step in and see the selection. My assessment of the food is that items are comforting, familiar, and easy going. They make a good hummus and baba ganoush, and I really enjoy the cold veggie salads. I also think their kabobs are great. The reason I think the food is easy going is because a lot of items are on the blander side of things, which is good for most, but I tend to prefer heavy seasoning. Their tzatziki is an example of something that could use an extra ingredient, and I recently had a special stewed chicken dish with cream in it that really lacked seasoning. It was a rustic dish for sure, but was in line with the restaurant over, mild flavors. Neomonde really does all the right things to make itself a viable option for all. The environment is casual, options are a bounty, prices aren't too bad and the food is made for anyone with any restrictions. We dined in and ordered at the counter. Honestly I could have read the menu more carefully as I found the ordering a bit confusing. The employees patiently answered my questions and retrieved the items I forgot to pick up before sitting down (like the baklava and side of tzatziki). I chose the pita pocket platter that comes with 2 sides and baklava. I was not sure what comes on the pita. I think you pick a protein? I chose the falafel and loved it. I returned to the counter for extra tzatziki, which accompanied the falafel well. For the sides I picked the kale salad and quinoa tabbouleh. Both I enjoyed. The kale salad does have a strong vinegar/acidic taste to it if you like that. The portions of each item were perfect. I finished off the meal with Ashta with pistachio ($6). I absolutely loved the Ashta. It is strong in rose flavor, which I had hoped for. The desserts are provided at the counter when you pay, while the main entree and sides are brought out to your table. I only wish the menu was a little clearer on the options. Like I mentioned before, this could have been just me and my family that found it confusing. Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this restaurant to others!
