Outside the restaurant

If you are tired of expensive and unsatisfying breakfasts in hotel restaurants then this is a great alternative choice. Because the food is great with skilled staff. Also, you will save a lot of money because it is only half the price compared to dining at a restaurant. Plus tips are not Mandatory. I think Taza may be a newly opened delicatessen brunch snack bar. We have been staying at the Hilton Hotel at Lax Airport many times since 2015. And we just found this lovely place recently . As Taza is only a one minute walk away from Hilton Hotel Airport LAX. All menus are available for brunch and this place is closed in the evening. We tried the patty melt and the chicken sandwich. There are three options of bread: white bread, whole wheat, and sourdough bread. We will always like to come here when we stay at an LAX airport hotel.

The salmon inside the lox bagel I ordered today

Please check the salmon from before leaving. This was the salmon from the lox bagel I ordered today. The sandwich wasn't bad - but never having salmon here again. The quality of food has gone down.

Horchata Latte

I needed a new coffee spot that isn't too far from my office and decided to give the place a try. The cashier was kind to suggest their popular drinks and I ended up going for the iced horchata latte and it is really good! Definitely a lot of flavor and really does taste like cinnamon while also getting the kick from caffeine. They sell a variety of breakfast and lunch as well, and it does get busy around lunch time. For it being a small area it sure attracts workers and customers and I would recommend giving their drinks a try!

$6 Side salad in 5x5 container. Not worth the price

"Very disappointed with my $6 side salad from Taza. It was basically just lettuce with almost no toppings. Honestly, I get more extras on one of their hamburgers than what came with this salad. Definitely not worth the price."

Avocado toast! YUM!!

This has to be the best little cafe anywhere near LAX or Hilton Hotels. Bright, clean, friendly vibe. Menu has great variety. The Avocado toast for breakfast was Gourmet Quality. The music soundtrack was fantastic. Can't wait to try the lunch offerings. Lots of local patrons so you know it is a favorite!!! Food, ambiance, service all 5 Star!!!!

I had a nice little lunch at Taza located between the Hilton and Marriott hotels near the airport (it's in an office building, on the first floor toward the left). They recently opened and the service was friendly and fast. There's a few tables to sit and grab lunch or breakfast. I had mangos and the avocado toast on sourdough (I loved it; esp the balsamic glaze). I'd like to come back and try them for lunch.

This is my first time trying this business. I just really wanted a sandwich and I'm a big fan of…read moresandwiches specially with those with a lot of meat so I looked on Apple Maps and I saw that this place had great reviews so I decided to try it out. It did not disappoint, Roberto O. took my order and he pretty much suggested what to get as far as a sandwich (based upon my restrictions) and the chips that would complement the sandwich. He recommended the Firebird sandwich and the Funky cushion chips (which is a mixture of salt/vinegar, mesquite BBQ, etc.). After receiving my order, I wanted to view the sandwich and take a bite. I was parked in the 15 minute parking space and one bite turned into eating half the sandwich and bag of chips in my car! I'm very picky about sandwiches and sandwich spots, but this is my new go-to!

Didn't really see any dramatically unique proposition here. Clean and shiny, simple and short…read moremenu. But as we have become accustomed to specifying all aspects of a sandwich (or a burger or a pizza or a Chipotle bowl), customization is not part of the experience here as substitutions are discouraged (the menu says that substitutions are 'declined'). There's only one bread (Dutch crunch, which is fine; not too crunchy so you don't tear up the top of your mouth). The sandwiches have a manufactured look to them, kind of squished almost like a panino. Bread was fresh. Their version of the Reuben was, I thought, a little off ('Ruben's Cousin') - didn't notice the Russian dressing and the sauerkraut was not prominent either, and as described it's pastrami instead of corned beef. The overwhelming flavor was whole mustard, I really thought it might have been better with yellow mustard or none but...no customization. I would try again, not bad, but not a destination.

Every time I come in I order the cowboy burrito I love the sauces it comes with; a green salsa and mayo made in house. As far as the wait time it does take a little while but nothing crazy they make it fresh to every order so it is worth the wait. I don't mind the wait usually it does get somewhat busy and the wait time does take a little longer. They have always checked in with me about my food which is greatly appreciated! Most of the time the food comes out fast, but when it does pick up I always give them the extra time, I'm not going to rush them over a burrito.

Exactly as advertised on Google Maps I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwhich and a Diet Coke. They give the soda in the can so I recommend asking for a cup with ice. The food arrived pretty quickly and it looked stunning. The bread was toasted and had a nice brown color. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the crust was not flaky or falling off. The tomato sauce was served in a cup to the side. Which I really loved. The cheese was melted and mixed with the chicken so you tasted the sauce, chicken and cheese with every bite. I would come here again. P.S. I am always wary of getting chicken Parmesan sandwhiches because of the sogginess. Sauce on the side allows you to add it as you need, preventing the sandwhich from becoming soggy.

It has that perfect neighborhood, home-away-from-home feel. From the framed photos on the walls and drapery hanging from the windows to the tables set up outside in the lot, it genuinely feels like you've been invited over for dinner in someone's backyard. The owner is right there helping run the kitchen, while his kids are running around from table to table, drawing, hanging out, and casually enjoying freshly made bowls of pasta. Like, sir... CAN YOU ADOPT ME??? Because this is the kind of family I want to be a part of! LOL. NOW, THE FOOD!!! Caesar salad? GET IT. No questions, just order it. Trust me. Homemade mozzarella sticks? Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey and cheesy on the inside. Exactly how they should be! Ragu pasta? Rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Lamb chops? Perfectly grilled and seasoned. Not a single complaint! I mean, between the thoughtful little details, the family dynamic, the incredible food, and the perfectly sunny LA evening, the entire experience just felt special. No unnecessary frills, no trying too hard. Just really good food, genuine hospitality, and a whole lot of character. Such a VIBE! Easily one of my favorite dining experiences during our LA trip.
