We made our selection and could not be happier. Within the week, we were back at the store buying a new light for over our kitchen table. Sara is knowledgeable, professional and just really listens to what the customer is looking for. The store has an amazing selection of fans, lighting, mirrors and other must haves. BTW, I also bought a picture while purchasing our kitchen light. Sara was also able to get the kitchen light installed the same day as the dining chandelier. I highly recommended First Lighting!

My major concern, after spending around $6,000, is lack of customer service with missing/wrong components sent from manufacturer on three lights. My husband had definite ideas about styles we should consider (which I was not always in sync with) due to his decades of experience as a contractor working with electricians and interior designers. As we looked through catalogs and discussed options, I watched the salespersons(?) give one another "looks" which made me very uncomfortable. It was clear my husband was being "mocked" for his opinions. We spent a fair amount of time in the store talking to them and I tried to make light of the multiple instances. When we finally left I told my husband what I observed and that I did not want to buy anything from them. We ended up ordering two Livex fixtures online from Lighting New York.
