I will not go back to this salon again. I called ahead of time to get a haircut for me and my family. When we got there, we waited for at least 20 minutes when another customer came in and walked in without an appointment. She had the first preference and was seated first maybe because she is white! Taylor said that there are five of us, and the girl she offered to be ahead of us is only one person. Well isn't it first come first served? Plus, I called ahead of time. I told her it's not right, and I did not get any apologies. How rude. The only reason I can think of is maybe Taylor thinks we're Asians and we can wait and be patient. Well our time is precious too you know. I have a job that I took some time off to get my hair done, and it's really inappropriate for a business owner to set customer preference based on the color of skin. The owner is racist. That's all I can say. What's sad is that she is Asian too. Shame on her. It's bad customer service overall. She probably gained one customer that day but lost 3 and future customers. Husband comes here on Sunday's to get faded. I happened to be with him one time and decided to get eyebrows waxed. I had been growing them out for about a month. I've tried almost every place in Tracy and nobody can do them right. Place wasn't too busy we only waited 5 minutes. My eyebrows look good (not the best) and my husband got his usual hair cut and beard trim. Prices are good only $8 for the eyebrow wax. $12 for the hair cut. I'll keep looking around for the best wax but this place is top of my list so far. read more

I have a very long hair and I decided to cut my hair short for a change. The last time I've had short hair was 13 years ago! I was nervous to cut it but then I said to my self that it'll grow back again anyway. Taylor cut and colored my hair. I'm very happy how it came out. I got a lot of compliments! I called on a Sunday at 3pm to see if they can cut my hair. It was the only place open on a Sunday. A man answered who I think is Taylor's husband was super nice and said yes come in now. I got there 15 mins later...the salon was full but I only waited 10 mins. While I was waiting I glanced at the pricing which seems reasonable for highlights and color so I asked if they had time to do it all. Taylor with a smile said sure. After I show her a photo she was on the go. I always dread going into the salon bc it would take hours...but she so fast yet thorough. As she was cutting my hair, I got freaked out bc there was so much hair being chopped off. I told myself it's for the better and sucked it up. After she was done I felt naked but I went home and followed my usual routine with my hair. Wow.. the next day I got so many compliments. I knew this place was definitely a good find! Now my husband wants to give them a try. It's affordable and they are quick...my new hair-do is fabulous! Everyone there is super nice! I live in Bakersfield & wait to get my hair done at Taylors when i'm visiting family in Tracy. I have tried having my hair done other places & Taylor (the owner) has always been able to fix my mistakes. I will always go to Taylor's to get my hair done. I went into Taylor Salon today for a haircut. No appt necessary! I was lucky to get Loan to cut my hair and give me a shampoo. Amazing!! Great haircut, great personality and she really listened about what i wanted instead of trying to just give me the same haitcut as everyone else. I brought my daughters in for a hair cut, one has short wavy hair and the other long straight hair. Both girls are under 10yrs old. Taylor was not in and the lady wit short hair did they cuts. Not only did she over charge me $15 for each, not $10.99 like last time but she cut there hair uneven. She did not wash there hair but flat ironed it cut it. My daughter with straight hair didn't need to be flat ironed and was only to get a straight cut with one inch off. Not hard right, but she had her put her chin to her chest and then cut across leaving the underneath hair shorter. I didn't notice until she did it my other daughter. My other daughter has short hair and I told her to just make it even all the way around because she had it short on one side and then long on the other. When I noticed the back was uneven and asked her to fix it, she argued with me. She was rude and when I questioned her for over charging me she got angry and told me to come back and "complain" to Taylor tomorrow. So I did. As I was speaking to Taylor the other lady rudely interrupted me in there language and then Taylor would not let me finish. She just repeated that I was not overcharged. I know for a fact that I was not charged $15 for my daughter and she had her hair washed. Now Taylor claims its $20 for a little girl with a wash. Well, i thought I had found a jem here in Tracy but I was wrong. I will not bring them here again. Taylor did fix there hair but she wasn't happy. Customer service is not there strong point. read more

Went to a salon in Pleasanton and paid $35 for a haircut. After the woman there butchered my hair, I was devastated. Right after, I went to Taylor at her salon, where she gave me beautiful layers with a V cut. Taylor Salon only charged me $15 for a haircut and it was 1000x better than the "high end" salon in Pleasanton. Taylor is great! read more

Taylor was amazing!! I have a lot of hair and it always take a significant amount of time to work because it is so much and often I experience terrible service because many stylists get impatient. She was not only patient but did high quality work. She even went next door to the adjacent restaurant to order and bring back some food for me because I mentioned I was feeling a bit hungry (I was there for three hours).
