Shelby has been doing my hair for many, many years. She is quite the talent and is passionate in what she does. I never have to worry about how my hair will turn out. She is trusting and does such a fabulous job each and every time. Shelby also exudes patience and attention to detail. She is knowledgeable and keeps up with the trends. Whether it's a cut, color or style or a combo of services, I'm guaranteed to feel great about my hair. The Parlor is clean, bright and the atmosphere is wonderful. The owner, Samantha and the other hairdressers are all friendly and helpful. You can pretty much strike up a conversation and expect a warm response. I can tell everyone that works there are all talented as well. When I get my hair done, I have witnessed other clients satisfied and happy-faced no matter what service they receive. They also have the cutest snack and beverage station for their clients. It is such a welcoming and generous touch and it goes with the cheery vibe you receive while getting your beauty on. Parking is ample and location is ideal in downtown near various restaurants, shops and businesses. Products are also top notch. Yesterday was their 1st Anniversary and mimosas and yummy desserts were offered. They deserve continued success, prosperity and a thriving future. Today was my first time going to the Parlor. It was very clean and very welcoming too. I would definitely be back especially seeing my hair dresser Brooke. It's very beautiful. I've been going to Brooke since I moved here 2017. She such amazing hair dresser. She does good job and she listens to you what you want. She is big sweetheart! I had a very disappointing experience with the business owner, Samantha. Initially, she assured me over the phone that getting the extensions and the plum hair color I wanted would be easy. However, she repeatedly refused my requests for a FaceTime consultation and never actually saw my hair or understood where I wanted the extensions placed. For the consultation, she only offered a phone call, which made communication harder from the beginning. She quoted $3,500 for just two rows of extensions--something I later learned was significantly above the regular market price. Despite her initial promises, after charging me a $700 retainer, she began to change her stance, saying she wouldn't install the extensions where I requested and questioned the color we had discussed. All the clarity and confidence she gave me at first quickly turned into confusion and discomfort. When I brought up the fact that no custom hair should have been ordered since we never finalized a color, she still insisted on her non-refundable policy and refused to return my deposit. No services were ever provided, yet I was left without a refund. This feels like a classic scam: promising a service, then changing the terms, and refusing to refund the money. I've been trying to find an intimate spa like salon where you can relax while getting your hair done and this is that place. I honestly had such a wonderful experience. First off the vibe is luxurious and chic! Every inch of the space is thoughtfully curated and you can tell a lot of heart has been placed into the business. Secondly the team was all lovely. I was greeted by Madison who checked me in and offered me a beverage while I waited. She was easy to talk to and super personable which made me feel like I had been there before. My hair stylist was the owner Samantha and what I loved about her and Madison was that they weren't pretentious. Samantha was very knowledgeable and did well asking me the right questions as well as understanding my needs. She gave me a lot of tips while still getting to know me.. great chairside manner. I loved the oribe oil and ended up purchasing it but didn't feel any pressure to purchase their products. My favorite part was the lather lounge because you get a little spa like experience before your cut which was super relaxing and obviously my hair cut and style. Overall, it was such a relaxing day so I'd highly recommend stopping by and checking this place out ! read more

Wow! I am so incredibly excited that 1) I found this gem IN TRACY, and 2) I don't have to go over the altamont for the type of service and salon I use to love when I lived in the bay. For SURE luxury is the name of the game here. Anyone who has ever used Oribe products knows how amazing they smell and feel... this vibe is carried and emphasized throughout every detail. The space smells fresh and clean with hints of the iconic line they carry and fresh- not over powering candles. The decor is elegant and modern with a clean but comfortable esthetic - not stuffy or over the top... it's a place you want to spend a few hours. Samantha was so accommodating with my appointment, she spent plenty of time talking about my hair goals and desires and was very transparent about both her pricing and what she would help me achieve in my appointment. I left super happy and rebooked with her just in case this spot gets as busy as I think it will. Honestly I almost don't want to tell too many people, but I also want it to stay!!
