Gail Lawrence I needed a hair cut and weave so I went in to the Cutting Room. I had not been for a long time because being in the hospital most of December. Sueannnd did an awesome job. Customer service was great I didn't even walk in to get a cut but instead I needed to use a restroom badly other shops around didn't let me in their restrooms when I walked in the cutting room, I was greeted by a well dressed women with great manners welcomed me and I asked her if I can use their restrooms she allowed me in, this whole looks amazing from the entrance to the hairdressers very well kept, I will recommend my aunts and sisters to this place very nice thank you to the women who welcomed me in today. read more

When I decided to go short and even shorter, Susanna truly got me. Been wanting to go short since this pandemic started coz who needed extra step in getting up from bed to lay down on the couch. I didn't wanna mess with fixing my hair when time gets too valuable. I went to Susanna and she listened together with some pictures on how I would love to get it cut. She made it so chic and fits the big face that I already have. Skip to almost 3 weeks after and my hair grows fast. I wanted to go shorter than the one I had previously had and pixie was the way to go. Susanna once again came to the rescue. She recommended that I go a bit longer than I wanted to be, but my mind was set and she didn't push on instead listened and made it happen. I got so many rave about my hair and it boost my confidence up a notch. I am not picky on where to get my hair done, but she just delivered and made the experience very comfortable throughout the whole process. It also helped that we actually ended up twinning with our hairstyles and that says a lot about your hairdresser. She knew what she was doing. Update: Susanna is not good with clippers. She nicked my ear (and said nothing). Never going back. Honestly I hesitated for SO LONG to share this, but it caused me such anxiety going to get my hair cut anywhere after this, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I'm sure if you go in for a longer cut that isn't tight around the ear you'd be fine. Also she has preconceived notions about what is "feminine" and assumed that's what I would want. Ive been long overdue for a haircut as Ive been putting it off not only due to COVID but because Ive been trying to get this exact style (probably about 4-5 times) and every other place Ive gone to always gives me something different. Last Friday, I decided to bite the bullet and try again. Saw this place was highly rated and called for an appointment (due to COVID they are doing by appointment only like most places). Luckily, they had an opening for that afternoon. When I got there, there was a short wait. Which I didnt mind because I felt safe seeing that they were following protocols to space people out, sanitize between clients, and have people wait outside so there were a limited amount of people inside at a time. Now onto the haircut! Suzanna did my hair. I showed her the picture and we really discussed what I wanted and what would work with my hair to achieve the look I wanted. From that point, I knew I was in good hands! AND LO AND BEHOLD, I FINALLY GOT THE HAIRCUT I WANTED! Will definitely be going here for haircuts in the future too. Not only is she personable, she's also very knowledgeable about color services. She has great product recommendations but is never pushy about them. She will recommend products within your budget if you ask. I haven't gotten my hair cut in a salon for many years, so honestly I was very nervous before the appointment. I have long, thick hair that goes to my lower back and I asked for long layers and face framing layers. Susanna was my stylist and she did such a phenomenal job, both in making me comfortable and cutting my hair. I wanted to keep my hair length intact, and she kept my hair long while giving it some much needed shape and movement. Susanna is such a lovely person and made me feel extremely at ease. The appointment consisted of a shampoo, hair cut, and styling (blow dry and curls). In total, the haircut came out to $95 which given how long it took (nearly 2 hours) and how much hair I have I think is reasonable. To be fair though I haven't gone to enough salons to compare pricing but I am extremely satisfied and will be back! read more

Best Salon I've ever been to. Yolanda cuts my hair and my two daughters and does an amazing job. So yesterday my son had to get a cut for his senior football pictures. He has NEVER had a haircut he has liked. He's gone to barbers, every sports clips great clips you name it he's hated it every time. So I called Yolanda and begged her to squeeze him in last minute and she just couldn't so she recommended Nicole. Nicole was amazing, she explained mullets to him and how they are supposed to look. His last barber was clearly not trained in mullets. It was hands down the best haircut he has ever had. He was so proud of his haircut. It was so exciting to FINALLY see him happy and excited about his new cut. I have never seen him smile so much. She's absolutely amazing at all things hair, but if you're looking for beautiful balayage she's your girl. Lizzy always gives me exactly what I NEED from a haircut. I have moved from Santa Clara to Mountain House, hence keeping my Korean hairstylist is no longer feasible. My hair is not easy to cut nor to style because it's very straight and in relation to the shape of my face as well as my head. Hence I need a very skillful hairstylist. I took the chance to have Susanna work on my hair. And I had goosebumps after she was done! Her haircut on me is the best so far that I ever had. I came to her with no idea aside that I want my hair cut as short as it can be. Susanna took time to get my opinion before she started, she also showed me some pictures to see which will be fine with me. But I told her, I leave it up to her as I believe she is a very good hair artist. And yes! She is! I look awesome when I left the salon. It is true that hair is the crowning glory but only if it's done by a very good hairstylist who is a skillful artist! Aside from this skill, Susanna is also a nice person and very patient (again because my hair is not really easy to style). I am really grateful that I took my chances with Susanna. I came in today, 2/12/15, and I had an appointment with Alicia. I havent had my hair done in YEARS. I didnt know what i wanted and i was very overwhelmed. She made me feel comfortable and she gave me alot of suggestions. My hair is very frizzy and long down to my bottom. I didnt want to lose my length but i was in need of a super trim. Long story short i went with a trim, bangs, and an ombre style. Alicia did a wonderful job. She did what i asked and didnt push me to do things i didnt want. I will definitely return to see her very soon! The place is clean and relaxing on the inside. The other staff were very nice and courteous. Natalie is awesome. So far I have gone to her for a full balayage and my 13 yr old a hair cut. She is super knowledgeable. I learned a few things by the end of both visits with her. She really does know her stuff. I have no idea how I found her, but I some how started following her Instagram. After seeing so many photos of her work I thought I'd take a chance and it was absolutely worth it. I will definitely continue coming back to her. I totally trust her with my mane. I also wanted to comment in regards to a reviewer about the salon not giving her a pixie cut she was inquiring about. I've been ocassionally getting pixie cuts for about 10 years. You can not go to just anyone for a pixie cut. Also, there is not much going back from a bad pixie cut because your hair is so short. I would prefer a stylist to be upfront and honest because I've had one in the past that did such a terrible job it was like she had never done one before. It was embarrassing.
