I've been here to see Britt twice now and she does a great job and is always really friendly. I text when I feel I need an appointment and have got an appointment within a week, quick and painless booking! My regular stylist is down in Burlington and is such a hassle to get to and from the appointment so I'm making the switch to make Britt my permanent 'go-to'. STEPHANIE did the most amazing job!! I tried to bleach my own hair and turned it yellow and orange, then to "fix" it I dyed it dark brown. It washed out to a reddish light brown (I had to cut off six inches). Made an appointment with Stephanie (first time going to tresses) and she turned my hair into an amazing cool blonde. Best hair color I have ever had. I had low expectations because of the damage I had done and I could not believe how amazing the color turned out. I highly recommend her. After having the worst experience with Sarah from Cutting Room (who apparently works at Mira Bella now), of course Molly came to save the day. My hair was completely fresh after not touching it for over a year, and it had been botched. Completely awful. Molly was so kind to clear out her schedule the very next day to take care of me. I've been looking for a hair dresser for a few years since I moved out here. I've been to several salons and never found anyone I liked well enough to go back to more than once or twice. I had passed by Tresses several times so I decided to call them and try them out. I got an appointment with Hannah and loved her from the first time. I've been to her 3 times now and am done looking. She's fun and listens to what I want but isn't afraid to tell me what will and won't work. I've been happy each time I've seen her for cuts and color. So I'm new to Tracy, used yelp to find this place and fell in love! I have curly hair and want it short (a total hair dressers nightmare). To make myself more difficult I called the salon asking for a same day appointment, and they told me to come in ASAP (which was awesome). The salon was clean and cute, my hair dresser was awesome and down to earth. Eileen was the first person to actually allow me to cut my hair short. All other hair dressers tell me no, and all for various reasons. They either are not comfortable, they don't think I would be happy with it, or they don't think it would work for me. Well she did and did an amazing job. She also did the best defuse/style I have ever gotten with it curly and not blown out. It was a very good cut for a great price ($45). I'm use to paying $60. So I went looking online to try to find a good salon in my area & came across a bunch of different salons. What stood out to me with this salon was their website. It's very organized & even has little "bios" about the stylists, some of them even have their social media pages like instagram where you can see some of their work. I wanted a salon that could color my hair, which has never been touched ever ("virgin hair"). So I dm'd their instagram page a picture of what I wanted & asked if they could do it. The picture I sent was a balayage dark at the roots, & then gradually blonde towards the bottom. They responded right away, said they could do it & that's when I made my appointment. The amazing stylist I set my appointment with was Nicki. I sent her pictures of what I wanted & sent her a picture of what my natural hair looked like. We set a day that worked for us & I was very excited. Right off the bat she was very friendly when we met. She told me her honest opinions of what I should think about & expect. Since my hair is so dark it was very unlikely that it would get as light as what I wanted in just the first session & that I'd pretty much just get to a copper color. I appreciated all information she gave me to make sure I understood what I would be getting. Luckily, my hair was like magic & got very light on the first round of bleach which was very unexpected so that sped up the process. She was very nice the whole time & made sure I was comfortable. After she finished coloring she trimmed some of my split ends & if you're hesitant about getting a trim because you're afraid you'll lose more than you want, she makes sure that if you want a very slight trim then that's what you'll get. Then she gave me some loose curls which made the color stand out so much more. I still need to come in for another session to lighten my ends a bit more in about 4 weeks. I have absolute trust in Nicki because of how amazing she made my hair look with just one session alone & I can't wait to get to the final result. I definitely recommend requesting Nicki if you want a beautiful balayage. She's very knowledgeable & will make sure you leave happy. I'm very glad I found this salon. read more

Wow. Just wow. I absolutely love this salon. I've had my hair cut by the same person for 20 years (which is basically my whole life), so trusting someone to cut my hair is a little hard. However, on a whim I decided to set up an appointment with Stephanie. Boy was that one of the best split second decisions I've ever made. First of all, I gave Stephanie almost no direction whatsoever. I sat down in her chair and told her that she can have creative liberty with my hair. I told her that I wanted it short, how short was up to her, I really didn't care. I just desperately needed a change. Having someone cut my hair for my whole life means that I've had the same haircut for years on end. Which has made me feel stuck for soooo long. Now I am blown away by Stephanie and her skills.
