I'm a total rookie when it comes to exhausts. i've always wanted my car loud finally took it to Taylor Muffler after seeing great reviews everywhere. When i asked questions about what would work and what wouldn't, Junior was a huge help for me to get an idea of what i want for my car. Got my Durango R/T straight piped and it sounds INCREDIBLE. Didn't get names but the homie w the goatee/tats and the only lady working there did great, quick work i was in n out in a half hour. Quality work at a terrific price! The next time I need a repair, or if I ever Tinker with the exhaust on my Challenger I'm going to Stanley at Taylor Muffler! You should too! My 15 year old truck most of its life in New Hampshire. Road salt has cause some major rust problems, and I had an exhaust leak that needed fixing but the flanges and bolts were all rusted together. I anticipated several days and several hundred dollars oh, perhaps a week and $1,000 to effect the repair... Stanley suggested that I don't go too far, then it wouldn't take too long and it wouldn't cost too much. A couple of hours and $100 later I was driving home feeling like a very lucky man! Great shop, friendly staff, honest prices, and fast service. I was first getting there 6:50am, 2 people showed up at 7:30 but got inside the shop before me. They considered themselves first even thought I was parked out front 45min before them. I let it slide because why argue about something stupid like that. One of employees said no I was first and put my truck on the lift. Can't beat that, they take care of their customers. Would go back in a heart beat. read more

These guys are fantastic! My 2006 corolla recently started making a loud, obnoxious rumble, coupled with an unnerving rattling. It was running just fine with no check engine light, so I figured it was downstream the engine. I walked up at 4:30 and right then and there they were ready to get it up on the lift to look at it. In seconds he found where the piping had come loose from the muffler. He said "$40 bucks and I'll fix it right now!" I laughed and said "absolutely!" Work was completed in less than 15 minutes and I was on my way. I then swung by O'Riley's to drop off an old battery, and that staff also had awesome things to say about Taylor Muffler Shop. The guy there said "they're the only people I take my vehicles to for exhaust work." Five stars! read more

Would not recommend, "welders" cannot tell a resonator from a muffler and replaced an after market muffler I bought with my resonator after I dropped off, WHEN THE PACKAGE CLEARLY SAID MUFFLER refused to refund me even after they admitted they thought it was a resonator and lied about entire process and proceeded to hang up and even blocked my phone number no customer service whatsoever. read more

These guys are outstanding. Definitely worth the short drive from Round Rock or Austin. I wanted to install a Flowmaster on my Ram 1500, and I called Friday afternoon to see if they would be open Saturday morning. When got there right around 8am Saturday morning they remembered why I was there. They gave me a couple of recommendations, and we decided on the Super 40. It was up on the lift in 2 minutes, and they were completely finished by 8:15 or so. I was blown away at how quick and efficiently they got it done. Other shops I have called wanted me to drop off my truck for 4 hours to a day, or they couldnt tell me the price or make a clear recommendation. I think these guys had it finished in 20 minutes! Pricing is great, and while they do accept credit cards, there is a cash discount available (credit cards are 4% more, still very reasonable and understandable since the credit card processor charges small businesses at least that much). Even if the price were higher, I feel like the service would justify it. I am so glad I found Taylor Muffler on Yelp,and I hope this review helps others decide to give them more business. They are a fantastic family owned business, really nice people, and highly recommended. read more

Great service great people great price this place is awesome good fast and done right took my diesel there to get a exhaust pipe welded back up where the factory weld had broken being from out of town this was my only choice showed up around 7:30am place doesn't open till 8:00am the guy pulled my truck in right away and welded it up they could have charged me what ever they wanted knowing I was not from Texas but they did not treated me like a regular and was on my way. read more

I was recommended to Taylor Muffler from Will's Automotive to fix the flex pipe on our CTS. They got the car on the lift and showed me the problem then proceeded to give 2 options for the fix. The first option was an $80 fix and the second was $125. I asked them which option they would do if they were in my shoes; they said the first-lesser expensive one! I was impressed as many businesses will try to max out the profit, not this shop. The work was done, no more rattling, and we were on our way in under an hour.
