I called and made an appointment with Brother Bill's Heating and Cooling. Spoke to him and explained my situation and how I am on a fixed income with very little money coming in right now after my husbands passing. Before hanging up with him he asks to pray with me and I of course said absolutely which brought me to tears. His son James came at about 5 pm and worked on my air for almost an hour. He was very professional and thorough in servicing the unit. Replacing the capacitor and putting in a pound of freon. As we were settling the bill James gets a call from his dad and after talking he hangs up and proceeds to hand me the receipt and says to me that his dad said to tell me that I can pay as much as I can when I can, but if I can't then to just consider it a gift. I was dumbfounded and began to cry. I am so grateful to Brother Bill's Heating and Cooling for their generosity towards myself and my kids. I pray god blesses their family and business in any need that may arise. Such wonderful people. So if anyone out there are in need of their services do not hesitate to give them a call. God bless

He showed up the day we called and looked very carefully at everything for about an hour, before finding the root of the problem. So thankful he kept digging, he didn't try and put a band aid on the issue at all, he found the mail culprit. Turns out it wasn't anything over complicated, but the thermostat was the main issue. We had a google nest to install and once he heard about that he got excited and highly encouraged us to install it and he helped us as well. He was raving about how great they are and that you can't find a better thermostat out there. So, me not being very handy asked for his help and he installed it for us and walked me through the app. Ron was very patient as well as I had some work emergencies during his visit that left me unable to communicate with Ron. He waited probably a good 30 mins for my emergencies to be over before we could continue with the app installation of the next. But Ron fixed it, 24 hours before we were sleeping with 93 degree house and as many fans and windows open as possible and then we were sleeping with all windows closed and in 70 degree temps in the house, it was awesome and we are thankful for Ron's help on this and he is licensed as well. I've had the privilege of working with him on two occasions and both times was very pleased. And to be clear--I'm very hard to please. Most recently, he installed a whole new Carrier heat pump and air handler system for my nky condo--as mine was dying after 14 years. As he promised, my utility bills decreased considerably. I can't believe how much lower they are and have been thrilled about that! Before doing so, I compared prices on new systems from four other local big name HVAC companies who came out to measure assess and give me quotes and was pleasantly surprised that Air-One's price was very competitive--in fact i saved money by going with him compared to the other 4 companies. He also worked to make sure I got a Duke rebate of $300 for the new system. He shows up on time as promised for his service appointments, had very good communication with me as a customer and really knows his stuff! It was evident to me he truly cares about helping people and does it at a fair and reasonable price. I'd highly recommend him!
