An amazing experience with Taylor & Hart. I do not have much experience with jewelry, let alone an engagement ring. But Taylor & Hart made the process smooth, straightforward, and enjoyable! I contacted T&H via email and about a day later, I got an email response from Juliet May. The consultation session was booked shortly and once in it, it was a great learning experience. Juliet was patient and answered all my silly questions about diamonds and rings. We went over multiple ideas about what my desired ring would look like and what type of designs are possible with my ideas. We kept in touch via email (a lot of back and forth) and she was very prompt and helpful in her replies every time. Once a final design was finished, she sent over a design page that shows all your ideas and your potential final product in a 3D rendering. The main reason why I went with Taylor and Hart was the ability to customize. I was skeptical at first and a bit anxious, since I am located on the West Coast and the showroom is in New York. Not to mention, the headquarters and workshop is located in London! However, they were very communicative with their emails and the package arrived requiring a signature upon delivery. The packaging was very discreet, without any branding on it, until you open the box. The ring was absolutely gorgeous in person. The proposal went beautifully and my now fiance loved the unique touches made to it. Ordering the ring was fairly straight forward. No issues, all adjustments and options were easy to change and update. After I ordered the ring, I was sent multiple emails along the way telling me what stage the ring creation was at. This was a very nice addition as I was an overseas customer and time zones/work made it difficult to call. Once I received the ring it really was amazing. You're probably better off finding a brick and mortar store that does price matching for a ring you find online than having it shipped. The ring was great from T&H, but there was a lack of communication toward the end of the crafting process. There was a long period where I didn't receive any updates, then they notified me the ring was being shipped THE DAY BEFORE IT WAS PROMISED TO ARRIVE. When I emailed asking about why I wasn't notified sooner about the shipping date, I didn't hear anything back. I wouldn't have minded if the ring was going to be delayed past the promised date if it had been communicated earlier. I already had plans to propose that had to be delayed because of this. read more

During our consultation, she showed us their wide selection of engagement rings, and also went over all of the customization options with us. I think the rings we saw in person really gave my partner a base to work off of, and during the consultation, my partner listed off all of the features she liked in different rings, and Juliet worked in real time to put together a quick render of how all the design aspects could look when put together. In my extensive search of trying to find the best engagement ring retailer I knew I wanted to find a place that had existing designs that we liked, offered bespoke/custom design options, and were priced competitively. Taylor and Hart checked all the boxes, which led to me scheduling my free consultation with one of their designers to begin the process of creating a ring. I had the pleasure of working with one of their designers, Aline. She did a wonderful job coming up with potential ideas that were very unique and incorporated the various aspects I mentioned that were special to my now fiancé. While some of the designs that were created did not really fit her style and personality, we finally landed on a design that was simple enough yet still special and unique. Aline accommodated nearly every request I had while the few that were not included were simply because it wasn't feasible due to the natural restraints of sizing and available space on the ring. When the big moment took place, my fiancé exclaimed "YOU DID SO GOOD!" as soon as she saw the ring. She absolutely loves it with the fun hidden mickeys on the sides of the diamond, the engravings on the inner part of the band (one text and one emoji on either side of the birthstone), and the use of her birthstone on the inner part as well. I modeled the ring after the Cassia but wanted a taller cathedral setting, less pavé down the side so it only went about half way, and more roundedness to the twists. All of this was doable and while it took several iterations to ensure the ring looked just how I wanted Aline had the patience and professionalism to accommodate all of these requests. Finally, with the diamond I decided to get a lab-grown stone I found on another website as it was cheaper than what I was being quoted and from what I could tell was better quality as it was even rated for "hearts and arrows" indicating it's perfect symmetry. Aline reached out to her group and the retailer of that stone to see if they would be able to attain it and price match it, which they did. I was ecstatic and felt the ring was now complete and perfect. Taylor and Hart did a phenomenal job as did our designer and we have gotten numerous compliments on the ring with people asking where it was from. It wasn't the easiest to pull the trigger due to other retailers I came across having bigger reputations and Taylor and Hart not having any physical locations anywhere near me, but I'm so glad I stuck with them. I highly recommend them, have nothing but wonderful things to say and we are even looking at possibly getting our wedding rings through them as well. read more

From start to finish their service has been exquisite! When doing my research on what company I would select to purchase our rings T&H consistently showed up in the top search results for customer service, high value and quality products. One such example, in January 2023 I was going to purpose to my fiancé overseas. The staff said the engagement ring would be ready before the date my fiancé and I were scheduled to leave for our trip. Of course life is what it is and there was a slight delay with the quality assurance screening of the ring. Customer service was in regular communication about the timeline and delivery of service. They wanted to assure I got the best ring possible on one of the most important days. All to say, the ring arrived on time and the proposal was perfect! Impressed from the very start From first contact I felt that I found the right people to make this very special ring. Patrick was great from the very first conversation. I was upfront in telling him that I may purchase the diamond locally as I felt more comfortable doing so. That was no issue for him. I was probably not the easiest client to please and agonized over every detail of this ring and Patrick offered great suggestions and direction the whole way through. Patrick created many 3d designs for me, tweaking and improving every detail at each new design. When we got close to the finish line on the design I was concerned about the actual scale of the ring. The solution, Patrick sent me resin castings of the ring! That was amazing and really allowed me to see it in person and get a feel for it! After finding the diamond locally, I sent the GIA certificate to him and he made sure that the setting was made to these precise dimensions. I ended up taking much longer to get the final design right which put me in a time crunch for my winter engagement plans. I shipped the diamond to New York (So stressful) to meet the ring at the Taylor and Hart diamond setter. I then set out on my winter road trip up the entire east coast of the United States from South Florida to Vermont. At this point I had the entire Taylor and Hart team doing everything that they could to get this ring completed and delivered to Baltimore, MD by the time that I reached my brothers place there. Kate called and assured me that they were on top of it and that the diamond and ring were together at the setter. Then, Nikolay, the CEO, called me and handled it from that point on! The ring was delivered as promised and it was more amazing than I could have ever imagined! Thanks to Taylor & Hart my wife will wear a ring that will make us both smile for the rest of our lives! I already look at it from across the room and smile with a great sense of Pride! I am very grateful to Taylor and Hart and can't wait to design our wedding bands with them! Great product and wonderful customer service, but the ring was delivered without me signing for it after I received a text stating it would require my signature. The package wasn't discrete enough and was waiting for me in my apartment lobby. I don't have a doorman so I was blown away it was actually delivered without my signature. FedEx could be at fault but I was very unhappy with the delivery. read more

Customer service is absolutely horrendous. My fiance ordered his wedding band and when it arrived it was the wrong finish. Not only did they want us to pay to ship the item back to them so they could fix the mistake (after numerous emails back and forth they agreed to arrange the shipping), we came to find out they charged my fiance 400$ in duties from Canada to the US. For the price of this band, this is completely unacceptable. We will not be recommending this company to anyone, and will instead be sharing this horrible customer service experience. read more
