I have been here a lot of times. Always good food and service. This last time was an exception. My friends got there before I did and they had numerous drinks before I arrived. Once I was seated and we had ordered the server proceeded to tell us they had a reservation shortly for this table. Then why didn't you say anything before I was seated and ordered or move us to another table. And the whole time I was trying to stuff food into me we were getting dirty looks from all the servers. I get that it is a pain to have people sit for a bit but we were trying to have a meal and a visit. I guess next time we will got somewhere that allows us to eat slow and relax My friend gave the server her AMEX to pay. She came back to the table and said sorry it didn't go through. How embarrassing for my friend. She used another card. Later called the restaurant and was told they don't accept AMEX. So why didn't the server say that. Instead she said it didn't go through and embarrassed her for no reason. Luckily she was with friends who understood not business clients. May be time to switch to a new favorite restaurant in my location. read more

+.5 for service Quantity wise this place is amazing. Quality wise it's fine, not something I'd have often but it's fine. Taverna Rodos is located in Charleswood, and was quite popular when I went here recently with a friend. I had the pork souvlaki, which came with a lot of rice and even more vegetables. I'll be honest, I enjoyed the rice and veggies way more than the pork lol. The pork felt quite dry sadly, if it wasn't for the spices it would've been worse. Service is excellent. I'm sure there are other better items here given the plentiful menu options. I'm content on giving this 3-stars for now and re-evaluate if I decide to return here. read more

Great food and a great restaurant with great service. They provide cloth table, napkins and cloth tablecloth's. The chicken Parmesan special at $30 was a good deal because it was a huge serving. The spaghetti with meat sauce was a little dry and could've used more tomato sauce. The salads and lemon chicken soup we're good. Service by Cheri was very good. I recommend Rodos. read more

We ordered Taverna through skip the dishes during COVID and it was delicious! The portions were great, and the mousakka (don't know how to spell it) was the best thing I have ever eaten *drool*. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the tzaziki (also sorry about the spelling) was sooooo spicy with garlic it was not eatable. We will definitely be ordering from here again! read more

Rodos has long been our go to option when we want a great feast at pretty reasonable prices. While the prices remain okay, a feast it was not. We had reservations for 7 of us and the table was set and ready. That's when it started to go downhill. Over 45 minutes to get our drink order and actually have something on the table. I ordered an IPA on tap and I thought it was just a crappy beer. I realized after the fact it was not an IPA. Trying to get our water glasses topped up was almost as tough as putting in our drink order, even more challenging when you ask for ice. It was all the little things, and there were a lot of them, that detracted. For example, my Granddaughter wanted a kids size meal with ribs. Can't do it. There were several items where we asked for an adjustment but they were not flexible in anyway. I thought they used to have great customer service...... The food was just okay. I had the special which was ribs and chicken. Both were okay. Several had salads with our meals and there was little to no dressing. Pedestrian service, friendly but nothing special. Sunday dinner here was awesome. The portions are huge and a great value for the price. I had the meatball lasagna and could only eat half. My wife had the special which was lamb chops, chicken souvlaki and shrimp. She also could only eat about half which meant we had a great lunch to heat up the next day. Awesome, awesome, food! Greek salad is excellent! Loaded with feta and veggies are crisp. Souvlaki is great. Better than Olympia for Greek dishes. Burgers and fries - excellent as well. They don't just do burgers and salads. Also full dinner specials which have been fantastic every time we have tried. Great portion size. Nice atmosphere. Staff is great.
