Their signature dish is the Arabic Shawarma, which is similar to a chicken shawarma, but cut into bite sized pieces. I'm a bit wary when it comes to chicken shawarma as I usually prefer beef or lamb, but they did do a good job here. Slight bit of dryness in the chicken, but their garlic sauce more than made up for it. I believe Ramallah and Baraka are both slightly better shawarma places than here, but Les Saj is definitely an excellent option if you're in the Polo Park area.

I also ordered a side of pita but passed on dessert. After you finish your meal they have a market next door. You may access it from the restaurant. They sell a lot of great products. Overall, great experience here. I will most likely return here when I return to Winnipeg. I decided to plan another trip here. I love the mellow vibe of this city. Also, this place is located in the corner of a mini strip mall. It can be easy to miss. There is also plenty of parking. I believe they have live music too. I highly recommend this place. Might go with the beef shawarma next time so I can compare with other beef shawarmas I've had in the city.

Instead of a salad, I got roasted lemon potatoes and rice pilaf, which came with warm pita bread and tzatziki. It was a good meal. Everything was hot and seemed freshly cooked. The chicken and potatoes had a bit of a bite, like a hot sauce or spice which I'm not used to when I have Greek food. The lemon on the potatoes didn't really come through. The rice was nice and fluffy. I'd get it again. Ally was the server. She was nice and friendly.
