    Butter Candles?! Love it.

Ambiance! Great people serving cool food. Our candle was made of melting butter for goodness sake. Amazing time.

I've been to Tatlo a handful of times since their soft open this summer in the back of the Absinthe House on Bourbon Street. The chef-proprietor team there includes one of my favorite food purveyors, Christina Quackenbush, and her imprint is all over the decor and menu! The witch-themed lounge with speakeasy vibes is quickly becoming my favorite place to drop in for a pick-me-up. I'm not a super fan of absinthe but the Sacrifice is a palatable cocktail from the absinthe list. I liked the Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble as well, but it was a little messy to mix and sip. I've had several dishes and not been disappointed by any of them. Teach a Girl to Fish was a light but filling entree that left me wanting to sip more broth out of the bowl. The pork ribs are delectable, and a little messy to eat. Get the butter candle noodles! The chicken arancini had a spice that my husband didn't favor, and the serving was a bit small. My dining companion felt the fondue dippers left a bit to be desired, but the cheese itself was perfectly melted and creamy. There's often (always?) a reader available and the service includes an opportunity to manifest your own magic!

The ambiance and vibes are immaculate. The drinks are vibrant and full of flavor. The Filipino cuisine is delicious, though not many vegan or vegetarian options to report. The bar tend is fabulous and service was great.

This is such a cool place and a unique experience! Especially for Halloween season. The staff is so sweet and detailed in explaining the menu and the meaning behind the dishes. You can tell they really do care about the work they're doing and the customers' experience. I love how every item has an intention behind it. Out of everything I tried, the Protection Noodz were hands down my favorite! It comes with a lit butter candle that melts over the food. 10/10 I also had the bubble cocktail, The Cauldron, Teach a Girl to Fish and Ube cake with avocado ice cream for desert. The interior is very aesthetic and they also do tarot readings.

Love this place! It has a great dark, moody vibe and just a fun place to hang out at that's just off Bourbon Street. Our server was Melanie. She was very attentive and gave very good recommendations. A friend and I ended up ordering some drinks and we shared a couple of dishes. The triquetra was so delicious. The ribs easily fell off the bone and it was like a flavor party with how the cabbage and mango slaw paired so well with the bbq sauce. The protection noodles were sauced and seasoned well. Pancit noodles are my favorite and I loved how it came with a butter candle. And the added grilled shrimp were cooked to perfection. They have neat little extras like you can manifest a wish or get a tarot card reading. Can't wait to go back to try some of the other dishes.

What a great find, atmosphere is amazing, speakeasy with a mystical twist. Each drink is a potion and has spiritual meaning. The food is delicious and the service was great.!!! Dean and Cristina are amazing hosts.

if you love astrology and all wiccan, witchy things, you MUST come here for a date night. they have an astrology-based drink if that tells you anything about this place. so many absinthe options (both local to Louisiana and international). they have blue, white, green, and even red absinthe (red is more new according to our server). our server was knowledgeable about absinthe. got the mata hari, toulouse bleu, and violet crown opal absinthe in a flight. also got the protection noodles which were okay (nothing special, but i was hungry). i thought lighting the butter with fire in the middle of my noodles was cool. will be back!

My partner and I were intrigued by this "witchy filipino restaurant " and reserved a table for 2 for dinner. Our server was amazing and had the privilege to meet the chef/owner herself. I asked for some added protein for a non-meat dish and they added it, no questions asked! We got 2 dishes and 2 drinks, an adobo rice ball thing and a noodle dish with a butter candle (sorry forgot the names). Both were yummy. After eating, the chef/owner showed us a filipino manifestation ritual using bayleaves and the candle on our table. We also pulled a few oracles cards which definitely resonated for me. The restaurant's decor was witchy and dark, i love it. Overall, it was a great experience and refreshing to find Filipino food mixed with the occult vibe (two things i'm very into). Would love to see how the restaurant grows the next time I visit NOLA again!

Best place ever!!! Entrance is low key & you could miss this secret place easily. On side street off bourbon st. I had two of the best curated absinthe drinks. The head bartender is a very talented and created the whole drink menu. She has like 19+ different absinthes at the ready. The owner is also the chef. I only ordered the rice paper wrapped crawfish appetizer, & it was hands down my most favorite meal of my whole visit to New Orleans. Since I'm Gf & Df, my choices on my visit where very slim but here, these dumplings were just sublime. Wish I could have returned. This place is run by women "witches". Just good vibes all around. Oh yeah they also have a tarot card reader that you can take part in for $$ Both my mom & I did that too. So much fun

I have a love/hate that they change their menu because I thought I did my due diligence and studied the menu and precious Yelp reviews to prepare what to order. But then the menu changed but it was fine bc Nico helped steer us to all the good stuff! We ordered a bunch of dishes and ate family style so we could try everything! The stand outs to me were the Pani Puri with the fiery mint water that you pour and lets you control the heat (you eat it in one bite), the Pork Dan Dan Buco Di Creste noodles (we asked not too spicy, we're getting older! Haha ), the Gulf Shrimp Pakora, and the ice cream pie from Lucy Boone! Mister Mao is where the old Dick and Jenny's restaurant used to be across from Rouse's on Tchoupitoulas. It's a little pricey but so worth it for a fancy night out!! And ask for Nico, he's the best!!

It had such a nice smoky flavor and was absolutely delicious. The broken rice was very creamy and delicious. However, the title is misleading because it was more like grits with cheese on top. The Prahok Ktiss was pretty flavorful and authentic, but there weren't enough sesame chips that came with the dish to balance out the spiciness of the paste. We asked our waiter if we could get more chips, which they said they weren't able to do. As an Asian American, I could tell that the chips were an inexpensive snack that you could buy from the grocery store, so I thought it was odd that they couldn't fulfill that request. I loved the pani puri! The presentation was beautiful and the strawberry oddly went well with the dish. Do not recommend: The Kashmiri fried chicken tasted dry. Crab pasta- I forgot the name, but it didn't have much flavor and I didn't taste the crab. Service: friendly and attentive. Overall, the food isn't the most authentic but some of the dishes were unique and tasty.

This is my favorite restaurant! The owner/executive chef, Chef Hao is a genius. We get the "Feed…read moreMe" option where 4-5 dishes are brought out that are chosen and prepared personally by Chef Hao. His dishes are to die for. Combinations you would never think would work together just fuse and melt in your mouth. He pairs things like raw salmon and strawberries with a sauce that mind blowing. All this combined in your mouth is like heaven on Earth! His Mama's Dumpling soup is so good especially on a cold or rainy night. I have tried almost his whole menu and can't complain about a thing. My only complaint is I wish they were open for lunch. If I worked there, my whole check would go to my bill and I'd still probably owe him money! The staff is really good. They are great for offering recommendations from food to cocktails to bourbons (that he collects). And if they aren't sure, they will ask Chef Hao for his advise. They fully explain everything that comes out and is put on the table, even the rice they explain is to sop up any extra sauce. Every day he is open, he is out picking the freshest fish, veggies, and fruits so dishes taste fresh and can be changed up if one thing isn't available but something else is. The place itself is small but very cozy. I would definitely recommend reservations through Open Table. We went one night during all the very cold weather. I was worried I'd be cold since it's in a remodeled NOLA shotgun house (and those building at known for being drafty), but Chef had the place insulated very well. My husband and I go there for our wedding anniversary, birthdays, or just to go when the craving hits. It's a great place to bring a date.

We got there a little before they opened but since it was raining they let us in and we waited off the side until they officially opened. Let me start by saying the restaurant is gorgeous! The ambience was grown and sexy and definitely gave fine dining. The waitress was pleasant and gave recommendations because I had no idea what to get. We got the bread to start and OMG that bread was delicious! It was buttery, with a honey flavor and 2 spreads to use. I wanted to eat it all but knew I had to eat an actual dish lol. My husband and I shared a small plate-the wagyu tacos. Lets just say I woke up thinking about those tacos I ordered a medium prime rib eye & my husband ordered a medium rare filet. His filet was perfect but my ribeye was overcooked. They made me a new one with no problem & were very apologetic. The new steak was more medium rare than medium but I still ate it and it was good but fatty. We shared the seafood mac & cheese which we both agreed was the best we had ever had. It was a huge portion so we ended up taking some home (didnt last very long after getting home). Lastly, we ordered the praline crème brûlée....another thing I woke up thinking about Im already thinking about the next time! 10 out of 10!

The atmosphere was wonderful, the music playing, the staff was incredible as was the food. There was so much to take in as far as interior design. We loved it. We had some sort of steak, a starter and a salad. This was about a week ago, so I don't really remember exactly what we ordered. That being said the next night we tried a different restaurant with great reviews in the same neighborhood. The ambience was great there, but the food did not measure up. Immediately after that meal, we walked back to Morrow Steak to finish our trip on a high note. We shared the cauliflower starter again as well as a dessert this time - which was something I'd never heard of but incredible some sort of cheesecake that was purple. The first night we sat at a table and the second time we sat at the bar - and it was an equally wonderful experience. The bartender was extremely friendly and efficient. Again we were wearing casual clothes. Out of respect to the other patrons, I wish I had packed nicer clothes to wear but don't let this detour you if you didn't pack them.
