This is hands-down, the best endodontist in the Roswell or East Cobb area…read more I called multiple practices before selecting this one, and most of them immediately said that they were out of network even before I told him which dental insurance I had. I can only assume that the other ones simply did not accept insurance. At this practice, on the other hand, Amanda was amazing. She was patient and supportive and took time to answer all of our questions. She took the time to determine how much our insurance would cover and provided all the information in a timely manner. The doctor was also incredible. He took time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. He went over the x-rays as well as the 3-D images to show me exactly what was happening and what my options would be. If you need an endodontist, then I would highly recommend East Cobb endodontics. My recent experience tells me that they are simply the very best. Take care

The staff were all very welcoming, friendly, and professional. I barely had to wait even 5 minutes before I was seen. The facilities equipment was very clean and high-tech. The doctor and technician were both very thorough and thoughtful with their explanations and I truly felt like they cared about me and my health. I also felt listened to and any concerns I had were valid. It was overall just an exceptional experience.

I have had the worst experiences here…read more My first appointment: I was given a call that the appointment before be canceled and I can come in early. I decided that I could make it in 30 minutes early and I informed the staff of that and also to make sure that it would be okay. They assured they would not schedule anyone else during that time so they would be able to take me right away. When I get there I nearly waited 45min-1 hour then another 15 min in the chair waiting for the Dr! I get it, sometimes things overlap I was upset but I got over it because I assumed it would not happen again (ignored the 1st red flag). The Dr told I may need come in a couple more times to have them follow up and make sure everything healed correctly (no problem). I came in 2 more times after that and everytime before I leave I double check with the front desk, and Dr, to make sure I don't owe any money and that my insurance covered the amount it was supposed to. Every-time the front desk has assured me that I do not owe anything. The third time I come and before they start my procedure they tell me that I owe $250 to complete my procedure. I asked them why didn't inform me of that before and they said I denied "that part" of service at the time when I initially came in (which I did not because it was the whole reason I was there). After so much frustration i decided to just pay it so I can get it over with and hopefully never have to come back. The front tells me they still check and that I may even get the refund make (which I knew I wouldn't because she was just saying that to make me feel better ). They start the procedure and at the end they say I need to come back 1 MORE TIME the following week! (Fine I'll come back to make sure it's done correctly) I come in today and they tell me my appointment was rescheduled. . . . They said they called and LVM (I checked there was no VM left and didn't receive a call). However they said they texted me (yes they did but literally 1 day before). With something this time sensitive there should've been more communication. Just an overall terrible job on multiple occasions by the front desk. 1. Make a first time client wait over 45 min (after calling them to come early) 2. No giving a clear breakdown of the costs initially (after being asked multiple times) 3. Lack of communication regarding scheduling. If you cancel 1 day before they charge you but if they do it then no big deal! If you're someone who already hates getting work done on your teeth and would like a pleasant experience I would not come here. Terrible service and shady job by the team. I do not write reviews but this place is ridiculous. Hopefully they can grow and treat the future clients properly.

I'm very happy to be the first to post a review on this office…read more I was referred to Dr. Kenneth Goldstein by my insurance provider United Healthcare. I called them after hearing the price root canal would run at the endodontist where I was originally referred. I was looking at paying well over $900 out of pocket at an office where the doctor had horrible reviews. I had my first visit at the beginning of July. I was very impressed with their website because it offered such a wide variety of information. I was even more impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They were so welcoming and inviting that I almost forgot what brought me in in the first place. I was taken back to the chair and the professionalism continued. The staff was very engaging and warm. We went over the entire process, what to expect, and after care. Everything was detailed as far as costs up front (mind you this was only $350 out of pocket and Dr. Goldstein has an impeccable medical rating). The doctor came in and went over the steps once more. Their biggest concern was my comfort and it showed. The visit wrapped up and I went home right at rain. I received two follow up calls making sure I was okay. I went in August for my second appointment to finish up the process. Once again I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. Now, two days later, I check my voicemail to find a message from the doctor himself checking on me. Think kind of professionalism isn't something one really sees anymore. I am incredibly impressed and should a need arise in the future I will definitely be back!

I initially saw an endodontist who diagnosed me with issues involving my two front teeth--one tooth…read morethat needed a root canal, and the other tooth that needed retreatment. This doctor ultimately said one of the teeth might need to be extracted later on. Because it was a significant and concerning diagnosis, I told him I would like to get a second and third opinion, which he fully supported. After some research, my husband found Modern Endodontics of Buckhead. Their website emphasizes "advanced technology," "compassion," and a "patient-centered approach," which gave me hope. Per their website:..."they (modern endodontics of Buckhead) care for each patient from the first phone call all the way through follow-up treatment ....." Unfortunately, my actual experience was far from what they advertise. From the first phone call, the front desk staff--particularly one individual--was very dismissive and unhelpful. I got the distinct impression that she was more focused on her upcoming vacation than trying to help me. I explained that I was seeking an unbiased third opinion and that I already had two recent 3D scans and doctors' notes. However, she was adamant that Dr. Raymond required scans taken only in their office. I completely understand that some providers prefer to use their own imaging systems, and I even offered to take a third scan, if needed. All I asked was that the doctor at least review the scans I had already paid for before making that determination. I also tried to find out his availability to come in for an initial consultation. However, she did not want to put me on the schedule until the doctor had reviewed the documentation I provided. I put effort into sending all these images and information without knowing whether I would actually be seen. Per Modern Endodontic's of Buckhead's website, "Dr. Raymond starts by reviewing your medical history, taking radiographs (x-rays), performing an oral examination, and doing diagnostic tests." Instead, it seems Dr. Raymond reviewed a report from one of my prior doctors--without ever speaking to me, reviewing my scans, or examining me in person. According to the receptionist, Dr. Raymond's recommendation was to extract both teeth and that he didn't want me to have to spend extra money. I was very confused. How could a provider make such a serious recommendation without even examining the scans they insisted were necessary, let alone evaluating me in person? And I much rather keep my teeth as long as I can and spend the money. Making a diagnosis without that interaction is not thorough--it's dismissive. When I asked how he arrived at that conclusion, the receptionist simply said, "He can just tell." When I mentioned that another endodontist believed a root canal was still a viable option for one tooth, she responded, "I don't know. That's just what he said." Trying to get any clarity or meaningful assistance from the front office was frustrating and demoralizing. In the end, my husband pointed out this may have been a blessing in disguise. And I agree. I wouldn't feel comfortable entrusting my dental care to a provider who refuses to review available information or make a diagnosis without seeing his patients-- and whose staff treats patients with such disregard. And I saved $450 for the consultation. Unfortunately, my experience with Modern Endodontics of Buckhead was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and disappointing. I cannot recommend this practice.
