First off, I am very honest with reviews as I rely heavily on them so what I tell you is no fluff…read more When I tell you my experience with Dr. Raymond was amazing it was! He takes his time, I felt absolutely NOTHING during the procedure-NOTHING!!!!!. I honestly didn't think the root canal would fix the issue but he really knew what he was doing! I didn't feel that he was even trying to sell me anything but do what was right for me in my situation. His "bed side manners" are very attentive/relaxing and that means a lot when this type of surgery takes place. I have very good overall oral hygiene so this was something that I was very nervous about and couldn't even believe I was going through but he was patient aanswering all of my silly questions and I felt like family ! He is awesome and here I am a week later and I feel none of the prior issues. I'm shocked Additionally, the front desk staff are very responsive and that was awesome as well! They conform to the communication style that works for you, for me it was text messages and they literally responded immediately. Again, since this was my first time having this type of situation, they were very responsive and very reassuring, not making me feel like I was being annoying

INFORMATIVE AND ASSURING - Dr. Goodman answered all of my questions at each appointment and walked me through the work he completed, and then answered my follow up questions. He was patient and honest, which I really respect. I'm lucky to have found him, I hope you're lucky enough to read this review and follow through with going to see Dr. Goodman and his team. Dr. Goodman quickly determined I needed a root canal and got the job done on the spot. Of course, "root canal" is synonymous with "pain," but Dr. Goodman assured me I wouldn't feel a thing. I had my iPod ready to go to blast loud music to help me through it and didn't even need it. I didn't even feel the novicane shots because I was numbed with Q-Tips before they went in. Plus, Dr. Goodman and his staff are nice, good-natured and fun. Post surgery was painless as well. I can't recommend highly enough.

So, the experience was great and it was of course hugely expensive (this practice is out-of-network on my insurance policy) but the end result matters. and I had almost zero pain after the Novacane wore off. Really appreciated the friendly gals who helped get me taken care of and, yep, I hope I don't have to go back. Dr. Waters was great too.

How did I end up at Endodontics of Atlanta?…read more I had some dull pain on my left side of my teeth, not sure which tooth :( I texted my dentist and he asked me to just come in for him to take a look. My dentist Dr Bob Feil who has been looking after my teeth for the past 10 years and super nice of him to stay behind on a Friday night to check on my pain. There was no cavity or crack. He took an x-Ray and said he would refer me to an endodontist to have a better look and if perhaps the nerves on my #15 tooth were dying. Ugh!! I just really did not want to hear the two words : Root Canal. I called up Endodontist of Atlanta and got an appt on Feb 4. Staff was very helpful when I was making the appt. Miraculously, the pain sort of subsided as the day went by before my appt. That morning I was dropped off at the midtown 1375 Peachtree building. The front door was locked. I was like great, i hate talking via any intercom when wearing a mask. I pushed the button and a gentleman (possibly security) said 1375 something and unlocked the door. I tried to open the door, still locked. Then a guy walked past and told me try the middle door. I like oh, thank you. Me the dummy!! Upon stepping in, there was a gentleman asking if I had an appt at the Endodontics of Atlanta. I nodded, I wondered how he knew. Hmmm.. nevertheless he was very nice and said the female security would show me to the elevator. She decided to take the elevator with me to show me the direction. Super nice people! I finally found the office A-19. The cheery staff at the front desk greeted me when I opened the door. I filled up some forms but have completed majority of them prior to my appointment. Oh, he also took my temperature. The sitting/waiting area was really nice. Very classy, very relaxing. I was hoping to relax a bit but it got cut short when a female staff (Angie?) called my name. She too was very friendly even though she served me a cup of hydrogen peroxide. It was so nasty! I just had my first taste of hydrogen peroxide when I went to my dentist the day before. Ewwww!! I did just whined a little and said I had to have this two days in a row? :( Another staff took over and did a number of scans on my teeth. I was then seated in the room where I placed my coat and purse. The same staff took a few more X-rays. Shortly, Dr Jeffrey Waters came. He was very cheery, friendly and he has a very calming voice. He tried to explain and asked me a series of questions. I told him the pain kind of came and gone, though sometimes they would come visit. On a scale of 1 to 10, the dull pain would probably be a 1 or 2. He did a number of tests and in the end he concluded it was not necessary to do a root canal at this point but to monitor it. He said my current condition did not check all the boxes deemed necessary to do a root canal. I am glad though I would not have any doubt I would be in good hands when Dr. Waters would be handling the procedure. So here's a solid 5 stars from me to all the staffs and Dr. Jeffrey Waters for the superb service I received when I was there. Thank you :)

The initial visit checked all the boxes: ample parking, friendly staff, clean office, and a thorough explanation of the procedure and cost. I was able to get scheduled during my desired timeframe which is a big plus as this procedure requires some downtime. The next two things that really make this practice a stand out were the precision of the anesthesia and communication following the procedure. Dr. Bartruff described the formula/ratio used for the sedation before injecting. Whatever it was, I was pleasantly surprised to come out of surgery without the usual groggy, lethargic feeling. The other part I was impressed with was the ease in communicating with the doctor and staff with my questions/concerns during recovery. The procedure itself pales in comparison to recovery so having open lines of communication definitely put my mind at ease.

I recently visited this practice with a relatI've who received care at this practice. The front…read moreoffice staff were very pleasant and the medical support staff were awesome as well. The issue with this visit stemmed from the unprofessionalism from the doctor himself before the procedure began. When the doctor entered the treatment room, he had the chart in hand with the information from the insurance company. The doctor scanned the insurance page claiming that a certain service was not covered and my relative had not paid for said service. That information was incorrect. He did not read the insurance data correctly, which clearly showed the approval from the insurance company along with the amount payable by the insurance and the patient responsibility. My relative reviewed all of this information during check in for the appointment with the front office staff and paid the portion not covered by the insurance in full ( not a payment plan). This behavior is very troubling and gives the impression that the money is more of a concern versus the patients health. Also, that is what the front office staff/ practice manager is for. If there was any disagreement with the insurance nor no payment was received by my relative, my relative would not have been allowed in the treatment room to begin with. I understand that the doctor has a business to run, but this situation could have been handled more professionally and with tact. The procedure went well. I would recommend better pre-op instructions. If I ever need the services offered by this practice, me personally, I would go elsewhere. Also, I would not recommend this practice to anyone I know. I do not tolerate humiliation nor disrespect. You show me who you are the first time, I take the interaction at face value and move accordingly. I don't care how much experience or renowned a doctor is, you humiliate me or my relatives, that is the last time you will see me or my family. On another note, I have seen the clientele that receives services at this practice, so I can see where the warped perception of patients may come into play. Well, listen here doctor, you are not dealing with rif- raff on this end. You are still practicing well beyond your years, so who needs who? Treat your patients better and it may be time for you to hang up the white coat. Good Day.
