I have had the worst experiences here. My first appointment: I was given a call that the appointment before be canceled and I can come in early. I decided that I could make it in 30 minutes early and I informed the staff of that and also to make sure that it would be okay. They assured they would not schedule anyone else during that time so they would be able to take me right away.When I get there I nearly waited 45min-1 hour then another 15 min in the chair waiting for the Dr! I get it, sometimes things overlap I was upset but I got over it because I assumed it would not happen again (ignored the 1st red flag). The Dr told I may need come in a couple more times to have them follow up and make sure everything healed correctly (no problem). I came in 2 more times after that and everytime before I leave I double check with the front desk, and Dr, to make sure I don't owe any money and that my insurance covered the amount it was supposed to. Every-time the front desk has assured me that I do not owe anything. The third time I come and before they start my procedure they tell me that I owe $250 to complete my procedure. I asked them why didn't inform me of that before and they said I denied "that part" of service at the time when I initially came in (which I did not because it was the whole reason I was there). After so much frustration i decided to just pay it so I can get it over with and hopefully never have to come back. The front tells me they still check and that I may even get the refund make (which I knew I wouldn't because she was just saying that to make me feel better ). They start the procedure and at the end they say I need to come back 1 MORE TIME the following week! (Fine I'll come back to make sure it's done correctly) I come in today and they tell me my appointment was rescheduled. . . . They said they called and LVM (I checked there was no VM left and didn't receive a call). However they said they texted me (yes they did but literally 1 day before). With something this time sensitive there should've been more communication. Just an overall terrible job on multiple occasions by the front desk. 1. Make a first time client wait over 45 min (after calling them to come early) 2. No giving a clear breakdown of the costs initially (after being asked multiple times) 3. Lack of communication regarding scheduling. If you cancel 1 day before they charge you but if they do it then no big deal! If you're someone who already hates getting work done on your teeth and would like a pleasant experience I would not come here. Terrible service and shady job by the team. I do not write reviews but this place is ridiculous. Hopefully they can grow and treat the future clients properly. read more

Update: KE is loosing a star for one important reason. When a consumer/customer/guest makes a complaint it should be addressed. I will not go into details. My intention is not to troll or vent on social media. Businesses need to listen to issues, acknowledge the issue, actually apologize, and then describe how they will fix the problem going forward. I submitted a concern in writing and by email. It was not addressed. This office can do better. read more

I have very high dental phobia. Lilly and the rest of the staff were great at Dr Bath's office. They were patient and Dr Bath made sure that the procedure was as painless as possible and went smoothly. The office is very nice and accommodating. The office is beautiful and clean and the front staff is amazing. The ladies are so sweet and welcoming and then you walk to the back. I have never experienced so much pain during a root canal. The first appointment I was literally begging for more numb medicine and it felt like she was pretending to add more. The second appointment even more pain and she said let me know if you feel pain, I told her I did and she said oh it should only last a little while. I left both appointments in pain because I was never fully numb. I have unfortunately had several root canals and have never had this experience. I will miss the pleasant front desk staff but I will not be getting anymore work done here. Oh and please be advised if you have a emergency and miss a appointment they charge $110, they don't disclose or post that ahead of time. I was charged a missed appointment fee after I accommodated a last minute cancelation from them just 2 weeks prior and when I brought it up I was ignored. I was referred here by Reich Dental Center in Smyrna, after an initial appointment to begin the journey to a healthy smile. Sad to say, I needed a root canal, so the appointment was made. From the moment I walked in the door at Kennestone Endodontics, I felt welcome. The ambiance of the office is gorgeous - cool, industrial pendant lights and pretty art in muted tones, jazz playing throughout the office, gorgeous girls at the desk, like Heather (who has the cutest pixie cut ever). Even the bathroom is swanky, with a vessel sink and cloth hand towels to dry your hands. I was greeted by Kayla exactly at my appointment time, who guided me back to a treatment room to get started. I was hot (because I run hot, and it was our first 90 degree day in Georgia, so I was glowing a bit, as we Southern girls do), so Kayla went and got a little floor fan and arranged it to help cool me off. We did some x-rays, then I met Dr. Bath, who was friendly and efficient. She examined my tooth then explained what she was going to do. She reassured me that there would be no pain, and that if there were, then they had lots of anesthetic on hand and would make sure I was comfortable before proceeding. Then they left me to numb up, so I just settled back, closed my eyes, and listened to the music for a bit. The procedure itself was absolutely pain-free and did not take long at all. When it was all said and done, Kayla brought me a little antiseptic to swish-and-spit, then handed me a wet, warm towel to use on my face. Then it was back to Heather to set my follow-up appointment, and out the door! My appointment was at 2:30pm and I was in the car ready to head home by 3:36pm. I would highly recommend KE to anyone in need of an endodontist. 10/10 A+++ experience. read more

Dr Bath and her staff are the best. They work hard to create a tranquil environment. I didn't think I needed a root canal so I had my young son with me. The office manager watched him for me (I'm sure she doesn't what that advertised ) during my procedure. I was super anxious about how he'd behave and they were so wonderful. I didn't even get a chance to get my root canals done bc the insurance was, but then wasn't, confirmed beforehand. Tl;dr Very unprofessional. Front desk lady doesn't do her job. I did my research on my insurance company that said Cramer was covered. So I called this office to confirm, which they said my insurance was covered. The front desk girl was extremely rude and uninformative. I truthfully told her that it was my first time setting up a root canal appt and if she could give me an estimate to much I would expect to pay. She rudely asked me some questions regarding my teeth but then never gave me a response, essentially wasting my time. She told me she couldn't give me an estimate bc the endodontist hasn't seen my teeth. I was asking for a range for the consultation and how much on average root canals cost, on the average insurance. I'm not looking for an exact number. It shouldn't be that hard. Then I asked the girl how I'd get an estimate and she told me that once the endodontist saw my teeth, I'd get an estimate. (But that doesn't make sense) However I gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking as long as I get good service done from the endodontist, that's all that matters. So I called insurance to confirm and they told me that this office actually can* give quotes and instructed me exactly what to ask from the front desk girl. (Hm. How curious.) I called back this office and asked them to submit a quote to my insurance. That front desk girl told that they would submit it. (Wow so now you suddenly can submit a claim?) I asked if I needed to followup call and they said no that they do it automatically on their own. The night before my appt, I had a weird gut feeling to just call and quadruple check that my insurance was covered and to see what the estimate was. To my surprise, my insurance never received anything from this company and this company apparently isn't even covered under my insurance?! I'm not sure what's going on but this is ridiculous. I would've been charged extra for no reason, had I not checked multiple times. People. Do your jobs. read more

This was a nightmare of an experience. Dr. Bath is truly the worst medical professional I've ever met in terms of bedside manner. I can't comment on her competence at what she does because we were never able to go through with my root canal due to failure to respond to numbing. She was not the slightest bit kind or compassionate about the circumstance and openly displayed her displeasure with me as a patient. Having a root canal attempted on you with no numbing is an indescribable pain that I would wish on no one, so it would have been especially nice to at least have been treated like a person with feelings instead of just a difficult appointment holding up her schedule. I'm going somewhere else to have the work completed. I would say DO NOT go here if your case is in any way more complicated than the norm. Also, while the front office staff are really great, I noticed that one of them reviewed the practice here as if she were just a patient. She may have been in the past, but she is certainly a biased one. Always a red flag when I see that. read more

Dr. Bath and her team provided great service in ensuring my root canal surgery would go smooth. Since this is my 2nd root canal I've ever had as an adult, my fears were minimal. Knowing what my out-of-pocket costs, how long the procedure will take and what post-care procedures were well explained and provided in a How To guide. I don't look forward to these type of procedures when it comes to oral care, however if circumstances bring me back to having a root canal, I will certainly reach out to Kennestone Endodontics. read more

I am disappointed with the staff here. I have asked the receptionist, Jonita, to get me estimates and she refuses to get me an estimate for what my insurance will cover. She says insurance considers it price haggling , however when I talked to my insurance they said its called getting an estimate which we happy give to dental offices. The receptionist, not sure if she's new or just doesn't know what she's doing, but any question I ask, she answers it with no confidence (which makes me wonder, well do you know the answer or are u guessing?), she repeats the same thing over and over again, but never gets to answer my question. Basically I needed them to let me know what my coverage includes as an approx and they failed to do that. Update: I was speaking to my insurance who had notes from a call record made, and the receptionist Jonita, was providing them with incorrect information... She was telling them they are out of network when clearly were in network. So I'm really not sure what I was charged for my initial visit when I went. After ending 2021 and the beginning of 2022 in the worst pain I've experienced in my life, my dentist referred me to Dr. Bath for a root canal retreatment. With Dr. Bath's specialized training and expertise, state of the art equipment, and thoughtful team (who feel like family), they got me right in for an emergency appointment after New Year's Day. From the moment I walked through the door, every single team member was so attentive and dedicated to my comfort. From the wonderful atmosphere, including wonderful jazz music throughout the office, I felt a sense of calm....all while I was miserable from pain, swelling and loss of sleep. They took multiple images and Dr. Bath was able to show me that I still had a live root, and incomplete filling of the other canals, despite the previous root canal. She cleaned up the canals and removed the root, and packed my tooth with medication and I only had a little tenderness that night. By the next day, I had 0-1 pain. Today, I returned and Dr. Bath completed the process. I loved she took images of her work and shared with me to ensure everything was done correctly. If you're looking for high quality, professional endodontics in a family and fun atmosphere, Dr. Bath is a phone call away. Overall experience was great. Dr. Bath and her team were fantastic at making me feel comfortable. Soothing music in the headphones and a reassuring pat on my hand during the procedure really helped. I wish to dispel any doubts about this group. They are fantastic! From Jonita, who explained every detail via phone regarding procedures and costs to Dr. Cameron and her staff. Dr. Cameron was awesome, full of energy and very clear and transparent about my situation. They are sincere, professional and caring. I had a severe abscess in upper molar that will need a root canal soon. In the meantime I elected just to have the abscess addressed upon first visit. Everything was explained to me in great detail from procedure to alternatives as well as follow-up and medication etc. Everything is state of the art and immaculate. Going to a dentist or specialist is never a good time but this was a pleasant experience regardless. read more
