When I asked you for a refund you refused and started getting loud with me. I don't argue with my elders I walk away from indignant behavior. Your ordering system was archaic as you didn't write down anyone's name and you got confused about more than just my order in the 30 mins I stood there you had two other people have to correct their orders too. So you can shift blame to your patrons all you want; people survive on lies all the time. I give almost all 5 star reviews and I only review low in very abhorrent conditions or circumstance. It is what it is!

We often wonder if reviews are prepared by close acquaintances, friends or family just to make a business appear better than they really are. However, in this case, we are real clients, who were not paid or asked to give a review at all. This glowing review was earned, well-deserved and we will continue using their services in the future. We highly recommend Gara's Goodies & Soul-Food Catering & Sharonda Y. Stovall's catering business for your next event!

They're usually closed the days that I'm in the Upper Marlboro area, but not this time! It's in the same Plaza as the Amish market, so there's plenty of parking. I stepped inside and there were a couple of chairs for waiting along the window. Otherwise, it's a small open space and there are desserts on display, I'm in you to read, and very polite staff behind the counter. I decided to get the blackened salmon and shrimp entree with collard greens and mac and cheese. I got their salts at caramel banana pudding for dessert. I decided to use my insulated bag and wait until I got to my friend's house to eat. I love the shrimp and the salmon. They were seasoned well, but not to a point of tasting too salty, which can happen at a lot of soul food restaurants for me. Unfortunately, despite the good flavor, this was the case with the collard greens, whew. Also, there is turkey in there, so don't get it as a vegetarian option! The mac and cheese was good... Not sure where I would put it in my rankings, but I enjoyed it. That banana pudding.... Whoa. It was the perfect dessert, and I would happily get it again. The salted caramel and banana balance surprisingly well. Their top rankings are well deserved, and I am looking forward to trying their wings and other items next time!

The fish was seasoned very well...my fried shrimp were tooooo salty...the mashed sweet potatoes were ok...greens bland, Mac & cheese-eehhh & the potato salad disgusting. Smh...this place has definitely fallen off since I remember...WHAT HAPPENED?! lol Isn't the saying: "things get better with time" ??? Not in this case... Oh & my hush puppies were ok...& that caramel banana pudding was tooooo freaking sweet for me... I was disappointed... was rooting for this spot! I remember when the owners were first beginning... not too many good local soul food spots that have good potato around here... & the customer service needs help! Happy Yelping!

4.5 stars. I had the…read morechance to visit while at a team event at Robin Hill Farm & Vineyards. Despite the reports that this business is closed, it clearly is not. As this was an all day event, I started with a side of fries before the wine tasting. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy, but could have benefited from some salt and pepper if available. They were also $10, but other dishes were not ready yet, so not much choice. Later in the day, I got a smoked brisket combo with mac & cheese, and BBQ baked beans. It was a sunny summer day, so the outside temperature was in the low 90s...so inside the trailer (not a traditional food truck as in DC/VA as trailers are permitted in MD), the temperature had to be well over 100. Definitely feel for the staff, but they served orders with a smile. The combo itself was good - with promise of greatness - but not quite there. First, the mac & cheese - cheesy with soft macaroni pasta as you should expect . It had the right consistency and flavor balance without too much salt of cheese flavor. Second, the beans - a medley of beans, peppers, onions and homemade BBQ sauce...sweet, mildly spicy with a vinegar base. Finally, the brisket - cooked to perfection, but lacking any flavor from the dry rub. Paired with the homemade BBQ sauce, it was damn good...but just okay without. The disappointing aspect being that the meat was not even warm. With an outside temperature in the 90s, I would have expected something above room temperature...but okay. Anyway, solid...but has room for improvement!

Had this delicious BBQ today while visiting the Robin Hill Winery in Brandywine. My friend and I really enjoyed our meals from here. I got the chicken (soooo good) with two sides: mac n cheese (amazing) and string beans (was ok). My friend had the brisket with mac n cheese and baked beans! He loved it! Customer service was great. Very friendly and engaging employees. I'm not sure if this business has a brick and motar but I'm following their IG page so I can know where they'll be next because I want more!!!

I've been following this food truck for some time, and with a day off, I was finally able to check them out! The menu consists of your choice of Ssam (in a rice paper wrap filled with rice and your choice of meat and greens), the LunchBox (rice with your choice of meat and greens), the Hoagie (an 8" toasted sub stuffed with your choice of meat and greens), or a Salad (with your choice of meat and greens). The meat options are: bulgogi, chicken, or samgyupsal; the greens are either a Korean fruit and vegetable mix or a traditional southern-style coleslaw. There are sides, too, such as adding a fried egg or kimchi; you can also up your meat to a double portion of meat or do a half & half. We ordered 2 LunchBoxes - one with bulgogi, double meat, with a fried egg and kimchi, and one with samgyupsal, double meat, with a fried egg and kimchi. Boy, these were SO GOOD! The bulgogi had the right marination going on, and it was savory and had a good soy sauce/garlic taste to it - juicy, not too fatty, and great with the kimchi on the side. The samgyupsal was actually my favorite, as who doesn't like pork belly; the marination of the spices was on point, and this was also pretty delicious with the side of kimchi. I appreciate that the rice was cooked well - thank you! The staff here are SO friendly and SO nice - they take your order and call out when your order's up. There are some hot sauces that you can add, but the meats are so flavorful, you hardly need anything else! Definitely check this food truck out - the quality and the freshness can't be beat, and the portions are generous! +Korean yumminess! +LunchBoxes +friendly staff +check their social media for locations
