Their boba is soo good. Today I went, and it was raining so we sat inside. When I went to go ask for my drink, they took a while, multiple people saw me but wouldn't ask me for my order, which is fine, I can wait and it must've been because of the rain and the people being inside ? Not sure. I got my drink, and it was super foamy, like a lot more foam than usual. Regardless, it was super good, and I'm glad they had seating inside since it was raining. And the people that take your order are very quick and they make the whole process a lot easier. To wrap up my review, I most definitely recommend this place ! Their drinks are VERY good, they have a wide variety. And if you want to go chill, there is seating outside and they call you to get your drinks through a little window. During our most recent visit, their drinks were delicious as usual. Some of the food, however, got much worse. * Calamari 0/5 - Fried squid was a new item at Tastea. I was excited to try this. However, it tasted undercooked and smelled intensely fishy. This can indicate that the squid is no longer fresh or have gone bad. I ate one piece and had to throw the rest away. * Shrimp 2/5 - What did they do with the wonderful shrimp they used to have? I used to love these more than the popcorn chicken due to the light batter and tasty flavor. But they're now heavily breaded and deep fried. I get tasteas pretty frequently for my entire family. Over the years I've found that there quality form location to location is incredibly inconsistent for example the milk teas at the FV location is a not as good as at the original location. Another point is price. There are so many boba spots in the area and tastes has become just like any other - more expensive if anything. The portion for the large drink or karate chicken is fair but the prices completely reflect that. Tasteas has become pretty expensive and it's often a hit or miss - i'd stick with the fruit teas is anything. The service at this location is worse then the others as well - management seems to have a problem with employees using their cards and frankly there service is slower and less friendly then the others in the area. read more

How disappointing.. my chicken order at the other Tastea locations are always really big juicy pieces, but here, my large karate chicken order is filled with nearly half of small oily crispy pieces. I've made it my goal to try at least one drink in every category before I try out the entire menu... one day. I ordered Winter Melon GMT (Green Milk Tea), Krypteanite (Matcha Green Tea Smoothie), and Lychee Freeze with Honey Boba this visit. I surprisingly loved how refreshing the Winter Melon GMT was!! It was my first time ever having this type of tea. As for the Krypteanite, I wasn't expecting jasmine tea but the matcha flavor was definitely present. I also tried my friend's Lychee Freeze and lychee honestly isn't my favorite but this wasn't bad. Of course, we paired our sweet drinks with a savory snack of Karate Chicken (aka popcorn chicken)! My favorite place for popcorn chicken! I don't know many other boba shops that use white meat chicken. It's still super tender and not just a lot of fatty pieces and batter. Wish they would throw in a lot more basil but that's not a big deal. I like to get it with sweet and sour sauce and ranch. Tastea makes the best fruit smoothies in my opinion. I prefer milk tea from other shops (Red Straw, Sun Right), but I come here when I'm craving something fruity and fresh. The Avocado Avalanche is so creamy and the Ooh La La is a tropical treat. They're usually pretty consistent with the sugar levels. My drinks almost always taste the same and I get medium or light sweetness, depending on the drink. I'm sure you can ask for it when ordering in store but it would be nice to have an option for super light sweetness on the app because even at the lowest level, it's still sometimes too sweet for me. The fruit teas are also delicious. My favorites are the Lychee Peachee, Bootea Shaker, and Great White. read more

Tastea immediately reached out to me after my review. The manager of the store contacted me. He said he wanted to make it up to me, after my lackluster experience. We made arrangements to meet up at the store. I was hesitant, since I didn't really expect much. I accepted his offer though, and it was greatly appreciated. My drink and food was remade. This time, the mango all the way slushy freeze was made correctly. It was blended and I could taste the flavor. The Karate chicken medium kick had the right amount of spice. I was given extra weak sauce. I was also offered another drink. I decided to get the Tropical Bliss, my favorite drink. You can't really mess up this drink. It was delicious and just the right amount of sweetness. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much. I want to thank the Tastea team and Paul for going above and beyond to make my experience an excellent one. There's a reason why I have been going to Tastea since high school. I'm a huge fan of tastea's karate chicken and buttload of fries but this location for some reason can never get it to taste as good as the other locations. The drinks are generally fine (sometimes they're sweeter than usual but just adjust them prior if you can) but the food is disappointing. The chicken pieces are extremely small & not worth the price if you get a large. It's mostly battered crumbs. The fries, although there is a LOT of fries, the tastea dust is extremely salty. Usually there's a good balance of saltiness and sweetness that accompanies the fries which balances it out well but I'm not even sure if I can finish it. They also forgot to include my sauces (it was my fault for not checking before leaving but it would've been appreciated if they remembered first). I've tried to give this location a few chances because it's closer than the original location but I'd rather make the drive over to the main location for the better quality read more

Makes you happy when you come in with all the flowers and floral decorations. The staff is attentive and welcoming plus very friendly albeit it was a quick pickup. Poor management skills. Apparently received an extra order of popcorn chicken in my bag, I'd ordered a large. I assumed they ran out of the large box and gave two small orders. Second time ordering food, I'm not knowledgeable of their portions. My son and I decided to eat inside, when a young man without a uniform approached our table and immediately started grabbing our food bag. He just whispered "I think we gave you the wrong order", snatched the receipt off the bag. I mentioned he can take the extra order but mumbled and leaves. One minute passes, returns to our table without saying a word and starts putting his hands inside our food bag. I then get up, request to pay for the extra order, ignores and says "you've already touched it". I then repeat myself and mention to him, I don't want no awkwardness and I would like to pay, he refused my payment. I then retuned the order. Different approach would have been more appropriate.
