I think it was a pretty good drink. In my opinion, it did not need the LIME. The drink came out lightning fast... SERVICE: B+ I was the only one in line and no one really greeted me or took my order. The good, the so-so, and the not-so-great. The good - the interior is beautiful and welcoming. There's also a cozy outdoor patio, and people huddle over the big screen watching whatever game is playing. The so-so - the drinks. It's okay. It doesn't really stand out compared to the other coffee or tea places around here. It's not something that would really stick out or come to mind if I'm craving coffee or tea. Unfortunately, they were so sold out of sandwiches by 1PM on a Wednesday afternoon. The not-so-great - the service. I have been here so many times and I love that it's a place for a family together being a child of immigrant parents. This literally reminds them of Vietnam because of how the decoration and the seatings are every time I've gone here. It's either with my relatives, my parents, my sister and the drinks are consistent every time it does get crowded because it's in downtown Garden Grove but it's awesome and you definitely need to check it out they have Salty foods sweet foods and of course their coffees and their teas are also amazing as well. Before coming to the U.S., I used to drink Phúc Long many times, and I really liked their tea. During my visit to California, I found out there was a location in Garden Grove, so I went right away. This place is HUGE for a coffee shop and also has the cutest decor! We went inside simply because of the sakura tree decorations at the front and decided to check out the entire place. The wait is fairly long even at night time. I would say about 20 minutes waiting in line on a Friday night. With plenty of seating, the wait was worth the time! They also make fresh desserts that are delicious to pair with your coffee selection! The shop is decorated in an old-style Vietnamese theme with the low stools you see in Vietnam and even a small boat. I ordered an iced Americano (non-sweet), and also got a non-sweet matcha latte and a less-sweet Vietnamese coffee for later in the afternoon. Not a huge fan of Phuc Long's drinks but their ambiance is amazing. I always come here to study and order a blended drink or coffee. The 3 star is because I would not recommend their drinks UNLESS you're coming to here study. The blended smoothie is never properly blended so i always get huge chunks of ice. The coffee is meh, I've had better down the street. I will give it to them for their study space. There's lots of seating, outlet, wifi & the vibes are amazing. Parking is absolutely abhorrent tho, you have to go all the way around after parking to get to the front store entrance. I walked in and pleasantly surprised how big and cozy it was; lots of natural elements ( plants ) and tasteful culture art on the walls and throughout. I wasn't familiar with some of their "new" items on the menu but front host was very patient to explain. She showed me how to mix the rice paper salad with the fresh mango & crunchy onion! The store is clean and well decorated. The staff are nice and fast with orders. They picked up the trash and clean all the tables often during my visit. I like the brown sugar boba milk which was not too sweet like other places. They play mostly Vietnamese songs and the vibes are like the coffee shops in Vietnam. They also have patio seatings which is very cute and spacious. If you play Pokémon like me, this is heaven with free wifi and lots of PokeStops. The Wifi password is on your receipt. So disappointed!! This was our first time trying out this place and we will never come back. It was only 10:30 am, we order banh mi thịt quay and bánh mì đặc biet. They said all are out completely and only have pastries and banh mi que available. Then we ended up ordering croissants and banh mi que to eat there and they even asked for our name so they can call our name. We waited quite a long time and no one called our name. The food and drinks were ready for a while but no-one called us to pick up. The banh mi que is pricey and not that good....too sweet. The croissants is ok, not thing special. Unfortunately received horrible service! Two coffee drinks (viet and cloudy) took almost half an hour. Other customers were also frustrated at how slow they were. The first cloudy coffee was already made by someone else and placed on the rack- melting in front of me while staff chit chatted with one another and customers in Vietnamese... and still they didn't call any orders. We were first introduced to Phuc Long during our trip to Vietnam and we were surprised to hear that they had a location in Orange County. This location is located on the Historical Main Street in Garden Grove with a parking lot in the rear. The outside reminded me of what we saw at their Vietnam locations with the small stools and tables facing outward. It brought back so many memories! We ordered the Vietnamese milk coffee and the peach milk tea. The coffee was strong but balanced and not too bitter. The peach milk tea was very peachy which I liked since in my experience fruit teas are usually milder in flavor. The inside was louder than I expected a coffee/tea shop would be, but as long as you have headphones you might be able to drown out larger groups or people talking on their phones. I also think they allow smoking indoors too so beware. They have free wifi and outlets throughout which make working here a good experience. read more

I went here to study and this place was busy for a Tuesday afternoon. The line was maybe about 7+ people. I ordered the large cloudy coffee and it was about $6. It had a strong coffee taste with alittle sweetness from the cream foam on top. It tasted really good. The place was decorated and it made me feel like I was in Vietnam. It had plants, artwork on the walls and lights on the ceilings. It wasn't as loud while I was doing homework. I also ordered the Banh Mi Que which was about $9. It was three mini baguettes . My favorite is blended coconut coffee. Not many places offer this drink and when they do, it's not blended so I knew I had to try it here. Upon walking in, this space is deep! Every space is utilized. Starting with the cute patio with miniature chairs and tables to resemble Vietnam street cafes. More tables and sofas throughout the shop. They also sell snacks, pastries, their own brand of tea and coffee. I find their coconut coffee interesting because it had this coconut whipped topping like the cloud series that you see at other cafes. I wasn't a fan of that and scooped it out. Their drinks remind me of Starbucks from all the whipped topping like a Frappuccino. Phuc Long is also a popular chain in Vietnamese like Starbucks. When you order, they give you a pager and it'll beep when it's ready. Parking in this area can be tough with street parking and during events but there's a small lot if you're lucky to find one in there. read more
