We went to taste for our Galentines gathering brunch. The brunch included unlimited food and drinks. However, that's after the first round of first bread course, then meal which included entree and two veggies. The food was good. But, I bribe the kitchen was overloaded . The consistency and frequency of food being reordered didn't meet the mark. The waitress was serving as the server and the bartender. Hats off to her!! The DJ played a good music variety. I recommend going with a small party. Even thou it was only 4 of us. read more

The WKND HANG SUITE HAS THE VIBEZ!!! We reserved for the bottomless brunch! For 2 hours str8 you get to order your food in rounds until your 2 hours are up. The mimosas kept coming as well We made reservations for 12p for a bday celebration we did arrive about 30 minutes late but we were seated right away. Half of our party was there waiting, everyone get seated once everyone arrives. Once you sit, they come back with the mimosas, then they start with the starters, entree, meats and sides! As soon as we sat down we were viewing the menu and ready to order! I did have to go find our waiter but after that she was on point with coming back to take our order! Everything was delicious!!!! Everyone kept saying how good their food was. I tasted everything except the greens(everyone who had them said somebody's grandma was back in the kitchen cooking) and the wings. No one had any complaints tho. The mimosas were mixed perfectly as well. I'm already planning my next brunch date at the WKND! 100000/10 read more

There are limited options for hookah and it is a bit pricey at $40 with a time limit. Vibe was alright but I thought it would have been much more busy for Friday night. read more

The Wknd is always a fun time. It is spacious with nice seating areas if you reserve. I went on for Saturday and Sunday brunch as well as on a Saturday night, and all 3 times I have had an exceptional experience. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The food for brunch is always delicious. Make sure you try the chef's special waffle, shrimp and grits, and the greens. Yes get the greens, they are to die for. Also, if you like wings, they offer really good flavors. If you want to spice up your day or night, check out the shot Ferris wheel! read more

Come for the VIBES, not for the FOOD (because you might not get any)! This review is strictly about their Sunday Unlimited Brunch. We had reservations for a party and were attended to and sat as our party arrived (minimum # of ppl must be there to be sat). The server explained how the menu goes for unlimited brunch and asked for our mimosas order which is also unlimited. The music was on point and the drinks started to flow as we waited for our food....good vibes!! After about 5 mimosas and more people arriving for our party and also ordering, we drank, turned up to the music and waited...and waited....and waited....and waited!!! Literally 10 mimosas and 3 hours later, WE STILL HAD NOT ATE!! Our seating had "expired" (you get 2-3 hours) but we had not eaten! A party of 12 and only about 4 pancakes and 3 waffles had come to our table! After around the 5 hour mark and the mimosas running out, ppl started leaving without getting food. The server was cool, I think they did their best, but there is NO WAY EVER I would want to go here again for Sunday Brunch! They need probably 2-3 more SOLID kitchen staff because 5 hours waiting for food while full of drinks is crazy! The worst part: when a few of us waited for to-go plates and took the food with us, it was actually good!! I honestly think we were there for 6 hours total. How could something be good and yet SOOOOOO BAD.?.?. read more

We went for brunch. The food was amazing, the mimosas were perfect and service was great. Would recommend.

Our section was literally in the kitchen...cut off from the main floor. Have to wait in line even though you have a reservation! Just make sure that you request your section to be on the main floor to really have a good time. read more

We finally decided to step outside the Peabody Hotel & ended up here. No cover charge at the time we arrived, which was around 8P on a Friday night. It's mostly a 25-30ish crowd, yet saw some seasoned heads throughout. The female DJ did a great job playing a mix of early 90's R&B up until 10pm where the music switched for the younger ears. Friendly Bouncers at your service, well kept restrooms, helpful servers regardless who had which table. Bar food & light fare is offered. The Miami Beach decor of white leather couches/chairs, pink & purple neon lights with silver furniture makes the WKND a hotspot for all ages to enjoy. read more

A friend of min who was in town wanted to hang out before leaving. Since this is a fairly new spot in town, we decided to go here for Happy Hour. Now, I don't want you to be blindsided by the fact that their Specials change each hour. At 5pm you get $1 drinks, 6pm you get $2 drinks, then at 7pm drinks are $3. They also have specific prices for food and a hookah. I had the Lobster and Buffalo Chicken Flat Bread. They both were delicious. My favorite was the Buffalo Chicken. The bread was really crisp, the meat was seasoned well and the other ingredients complemented the chicken and sauce well. The Lobster Flatbread was ok, but the bread was a bit soggy. The overall taste was good. I had the "Hennyrita" for my drink. It was ok. A little too watered down for the price. Thank god it was half off. However, I did Presecco. Overall, it is a nice place. The patio is cool. They only have two single stall restrooms, which is not feasible for the size crowd that they anticipate. The waitress that served us that night as attentive and checked on us several times. read more

I am giving this rating because, for the first time, I was not impressed with the service. First of all, the place is small, and we couldn't sit down until six people arrived. As a result, we arrived at around one and didn't leave until four or five because it took so long for our food to arrive, and the birthday girl didn't have a chance to get her food either. To be honest, everything was not worth the price we paid, and I will not be returning. read more

The food was delicious, the staff( women waitresses) were rude af. We waited 30 min for anyone to greer us, then when she finally came over she had a horrible attitude. WKND Hang Suite is a lounge that plays hip hop and caters to a party crowd. I arrived on a Saturday night around 1030. There was a cover charge, and limited seating if you don't buy a table. The lounge also has hookah and a side room for private groups or just more table seating. The music was hit or miss before midnight which is to be expected while the crowd fills up. The lounge is well decorated and definitely one of the few nicer lounges in Memphis. It does get crowded so try and get there early! read more

2nd time visiting, the first time was when really cold outside but extremely packed. so we went to the patio and had hookahs and the food was great. This time (fall) we came on a Saturday around 6pm . It wasn't that many people like last time but the DJ was still amazing. We got to sit at a table and relax. I had lemon pepper fries and my hubby had hot wings. Every time it's a hit, crowded or nah. Thumbs up! read more

I booked a "suite" for my sister's birthday on November 30th. We were traveling from Dallas, TX. From what I saw online, this looked like a pretty cool lounge spot. We had reservations at 9pm on 11/30. We waited at the hostess stand for about 10 minutes before we were seated. According to the website and what I saw with my own eyes, a "suite" was just a skinny bar table with 4 stools. It appeared that the hostess had our "suite" set up with only 3 stools, and there were 4 of us in our party. So we waited as she asked other people in "suites" if they needed their unoccupied stools. Eventually, she seated us, and one of the stools was so much taller than the other 3, one of us was sitting higher than the rest. It was kind of awkward, but we looked passed it. We sat for about 15 minutes before anyone came to greet us. Once our waitress showed up, we ordered an app, drinks and a hookah. It took another 20 minutes to receive our order. The potato skins were average, and my "Drop the Lemon Martini" (or as the waitress simply put it, "the lemon drop?") was good, but not $13 good. The atmosphere was nice, music was just okay, but that's because the DJ was eating wings in his booth. I assumed he didn't get started until after 10pm, which I understood. I was about to order another round of drinks, but our waitress was on the other side of the lounge using her cell phone. Not really a big deal, until I realized she had been sitting there with another waitress sitting on her lap for about 15 minutes. By the time she came back to our table to see if we needed anything, I was ready to leave. She brought us our check, with the 20% gratuity added. Sadly, that's the only reason she even received gratuity, because 20% was not deserved. I guess that's why the service is below average, they're getting paid regardless. She never really even introduced herself, so luckily I don't have her name. But she was a pretty young lady, two-toned hair (Dark roots, blonde ends) in a ponytail. This place has potential if the service improves, but I probably won't be back since I'm not local. read more

Cool place to hang out, meet up with friends, grab a quick bite, or all of the above. The venue turns into more of a club after midnight. Tried the hot wings, fries, and hot tail(fried lobster) Everything was delicious and the service was on point although it was extremely crowded. Mercedes was our server and she was fantastic! I certainly recommend this place and I'm definitely going back. This is now one of must do downtown spots. Oh, and parking is nearby or there is paid parking on the lot of the club. read more

The food and general atmosphere is a 5. The service, speed of the food coming out, and rational behind their policies is a 2. Also, the automatic 20% explains why there is no urgency with the servers. You may get me for 20% on this visit but lose it on subsequent visits because some in my party said they would never come back. Yes, we spoke to a manager but have no idea if the concerns will be forwarded to the owners on Nashville. read more

I've been to this location in Nashville and Memphis does not disappoint. The ambience is upscale in the crowd is professional. The Memphis location has better lighting and a better menu, which I think they are adding to the Nashville location as well. Came in at about 11pm. Paid the standard cover charge. We found seats outside because the inside was full. We asked several bartenders about the hookah and got the run around. We asked some other waiters about the hookahs and got an excuse as to why we couldn't get one (there were no available ones and then the stone wasn't working). We waited and waited for a server to come outside to update us and they would only poke their heads in the door and leave or talk to the guys at the bar. I never had the experience at the WKND in Nashville and I am saddened about the poor service we received. If I could give zero stars I would. The workers seemed to have more fun than some of the patrons did. read more

If I could give it a negative, I would. We attended a concert, informed the host we would be late to our section(which was already paid for) We got there and they sold our section to someone else. We asked to speak with the manager, the hostess said there wasn't anyone to talk with and refused to refund the money. It was paid for, it shouldn't matter what time we made it there. We all end up paying our entry fee. We was only inside no more than two hours only to come out to a busted window.(all the cars parked on the side of this building were broken into). And personal items were stolen. The security is terrible, hostess was not professional, & the police was called, but never showed up. #Nashville owe us nothing, but this place owe a refund. read more

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of service and here is why... Service: we are Canadians visiting Memphis and were excited to check out this spot. Bouncer outside was so nice and we were off to a good start. They charge $10 for cover after 10pm but we got there before. Then we enter and it was the most snobby environment. There was a table but NO high chairs...literally none of the staff is helpful with the exception of ONE bartender and I wish I had her name. Servers are too busy serving the booth guests, twerking or texting...literally. Not sure if that's a Memphis style of service but so ridiculous, considering they apply 20% GRATUITY ON EVERYTHING. At least give me 3 star service if you're going to do that.... none of the girls served us although we asked three of them if we could order. We had to go to the bar to order hookah and a pitcher of Rum Punch (bartender was nice and brought it to us). After our 60 min shisha was over, we had to HUNT and basically beg for them to reorder it...then they bring us a BROKEN HOOKAH. Again, there are waitresses loitering and socializing with regulars but NOT WILLING to help customers. The pipe was damaged and so was the vent which they hid with foil. They also don't give tongs to move the coal...they might need some education on how it works to smoke hookah and why their method is probably not the best (though they're racking in money off of it) Drinks: Rum Punch was really good and worth it if you're sharing with people! We ordered two pitchers Music: AMAZING DJ and he was the only reason we enjoyed and stayed. We would have been out of there within an hour if we didn't enjoy the tunes. Compensated for the horrible service. read more

I sat and thought about snitching on a business that is essentially FUBU but here we are...So I came to celebrate a friends birthday and was turned away at the door because of my shoes. They do have a dress code that says pretty plainly No Baseball Caps, No Athletic Wear, No Hoodies. I was wearing Birkenstock sandals. I didn't fight the "security" because you know what, this is all the power they have in their life who am I to ruin a wonderful night. So I inform my party that I won't be attending. As I'm driving away not even around a corner the birthday gal we are celebrating calls from outside the spot begging the "security" and "manager" to let me in. They continue to refuse. The management lacks professionalism. I booked two suites on their website for a Saturday night only to arrive to be told that basically my reservation was bumped by someone who paid. The problem for me was that the website did not ask for a reservation fee when I booked. I received a confirmation which seemed to be irrelevant to management. My issue is that if prompted I would have paid a reservation fee. They were not accommodating. I literally had to seek management out for an attempt at an explanation. I am a professional and honoring commitments and technically a contract is a must to maintain a positive reputation. THIS PLACE NOT SO MUCH!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. It is so sad that you can't support black businesses. I will admit I had an amazing time when I made my first visit on Feb. 22. It was so amazing that I spent $511 at someone else's table and I made reservations on Feb. 27 for May 3rd (my bday is May 2) not knowing my credit card would immediately be charged. I thought just like many clubs you pay once you get there or on the date of your actual reservation's date. I picked a $689 package and reserved the premium room that requires you to spend $100 per hour. If you've partied with me especially for my bday you know it's nothing for me to drop $1k especially with good libations and music. Nevertheless, the next morning when I realized what I thought was a simple authorization was an actual $789.06 charge, I canceled because I was not going to pay interest on a party two months in advance when I can use the money for immediate usage. I actually had a full Memphis in May theme and planned to get another table on May 5th to pregame before the Music Fest Finale. So, expecting a full refund due to the cancelation message not mentioning anything about no refunds I only called twice to check on the processing of my refund and I wanted clarification on the $100 additional charge. I was under the impression that there was no deposit because the person whom made the reservations for my initial visit said they were only required to use their credit card to hold the reservations and of course we met the required spending amount so they weren't charged anything. Even when the manager walked me through how to make reservations on my phone on the night of 2/22 she said my card just held the room and my party of 20 was expected to spend $100 per hour. Needless to say, when I called today, I was told the package was prepaid and the deposit was nonrefundable. I was told I would not be refunded any monies and my reservation was not offered to be reinstated. THIS IS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS and will not ever receive mine again. Too bad, because this was going to be my hang out spot. If you have a venue with better service let me know, because I still plan to celebrate my first birthday back in Memphis celebrating Memphis at the World Famous Memphis In May Music Festival. read more
