Had such a great time with our friends here making the Julia Robert's beef and truffle recipe. Would highly recommend, it was tons of fun. The instructor/chef was very helpful on cooking steps. Even if you do not know how to cook it's okay!! Taste buds makes cooking fun, easy, and they are ready to teach. What we made was delicious! Great experience!!

Excellent first experience in the homemade pasta class! I bought the class for my anniversary with my boyfriend and we had an incredible time. The staff is so informative and helpful - helping pre-buss and clean so the process is seamless and easy. You can bring your own alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages, which was nice. After you cook, you get to eat! Which was delicious! Worth every penny.

4 months after the initial Groupon purchase and 1 reschedule later we finally enjoyed the class! I'm not sure if they are still offering the vouchers since it was probably just to generate initial buzz, but I had to wait about 3 months before I saw a class that I was really interested in taking on a weekend night. The 1 star deduction was mainly for the disappointment with the out of no where class cancellation. I originally planned for my SO and I to take this in January as the voucher was going to expire soon after. I called the place to ask what happened and apparently a larger group of people cancelled the booking and it was basically just me and my SO so they didn't have enough people for it to be worth it running the class. It would have been nice if they could have offered something else additional like extra recipe(s) for the inconvenience. We arrived at the location about 10 mins early to check in and the head chef, Andrea checked us in on her iPad and showed us our 6 person table top work station labeled "Tomatoes". There were trays near their drink dispensers where you could open your BYOB wine. We were in a rush and didn't bring any. For each work station they also provided pita slices and dipping oil to snack on. The classroom looked beautiful and all the equipment new. Andrea ushered us to the front counter where she would provide us the demonstration and we would follow along. Her 2 helpers provided us all of the tools and ingredients needed for the current portion of the recipe. The interesting part, was that we weren't all preparing the meal from start to finish, but we all had specific tasks for a piece of the recipes. The portion size was enough for everyone at the station though. For the Tapas Espanolas class we made the following: - Albondigas with sauce - turkey meatballs with tomato sauce - Butternut Squash Empanadas: dough and butternut squash, corn, cheese stuffing - Patatas Bravas with sauce - baked potatoes My SO prides himself on his cooking skills and even he was able to pick up some tips and tricks. We learned an efficient way of chopping onions to minimize the eye burn, knife skills, and cracking eggs to avoid stray shells. Andrea was very engaging as an instructor and made the steps for recipe easy to follow along. We couldn't wait after prepping for 90 minutes to dig in. The helpers put everything in the oven and created the final presentation in the bowls so everything looked fancy, but I can't wait to recreate the recipe. I believe without a promotional voucher or groupon it's about $60/person. Compare that to $90+ for Eataly, Sur La Table $69/person in Boston and $80/person for Create A Cook in Newton. It's a great idea for a fun indoor activity, but I would definitely check the details of the classes to see the menu. I know some other people commented that the Tasty Thai recipe wasn't worth it since they made summer rolls and those ingredients can be cheaply procured. Overall we had a fun time and our table mates were great company!

Went last night with a large work group and we had a blast! So much laughter and teamwork, enjoyed by all. The food was delicious- we made a salmon dish with risotto and it was fantastic. It's BYOB, so we did just that. The experience was perfect for our team building event. Will definitely recommend!

I've never had so much fun preparing my own dinner! We went for a couples steak diner with truffle oil mashed potatoes and blue cheese salad- it was delicious. They provided instruction and oversight of every step of the way (even fixed our mistakes). We are definitely considered beginner level but our food was still perfect. The chef was so friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. Loved that they cleaned and pre measured everything. All the fun of cooking without the messy clean up. Of course the byob doesn't hurt ( they provide wine openers and glasses). Great date night activity and great learning experience. They give you the recipes at the end of the night so you can even recreate at home. So fun! I can't wait to take another class.

I signed me, my son (11years old) my father (65 years old) to do a family cooking class. We picked A Taste Of Italy - family class. We got there the place was clean and inviting. They went above and beyond covid guidelines. The instruction was good, hands on, and fun. Our meal came out amazing my son said,"5 stars!!!!"So good maybe the best food he has ever had, and we made it! " This class had us make, chicken Parmesan, mushroom risotto, and cannolis! We would be interested in taking another class, some day and would recommend. They offer other classes as well, date nights with BYOB, kids camps, virtual. Although I can't speak for those it's something to look into.

Wonderful time, great staff that really made it a fun experience. Recipe cards at table would be nice. Whole group really enjoyed the adult byob event. Will do again!

My parents and I absolutely loved it. It was so much fun and the food came out sooooooo good. I would deff recommend this to anyone who would like hands on cooking. I enjoyed this more than other classes I have taken because we could actually cook and learn some new techniques.

TBK such a fun idea, especially when the weather is cold or rainy; different idea for an indoor activity. I originally heard about TBK from someone I did catering with, and then my family found a GroupOn so we all bought it and signed up for Tasty Thai. Website is easy to navigate, shows all the dates/times and what will be on the menu. Sign Up is also easy. Space is great, beautiful inside, great kitchen area, spacious for guests to cook. I arrived early, I arrive early to everything as I feel if you are on time you are late. They make you wait outside, or in your car until the time scheduled for the cooking class, wasn't a fan of that at all. Your guests should be able to come in, not have to wait outside, and I was only 20 minutes early. I think TBK also needs a TV, to show the demonstrations. Right now, you leave your station multiple times to walk to the front to watch the demonstration then head back to your space to cook. It was just a little annoying since the first step was to legit dump all the little cups into the big bowl and just mix; so really there was no need to walk up to watch that. TBK is BYOB, you watch the instructor then repeat at your station with your group; at the end you are able to eat what you made. All in all it was a fun night, but glad I got the GroupOn because I didn't think the class was worth $60. I think maybe the Steak Dinner one could be worth $60 but not Thai, Pizza, or Brunch. Will I be back, maybe; I did tell all my friends if they can grab the GroupOn to try the place out.

These classes are generally three hour hands on workshops held in the college's downtown Haverhill culinary school kitchens. Faculty have been friendly, knowledgable and helpful, and the food always delicious. Each instructor has the flexibility to teach their own way so it's always a new experience. Most recently I did a Thai Street food class in which our instructor, Ploy, walked us through making a rainbow salad (with carrots, apples and a variety seasonings), Thai corn fritters, red curry with chicken (served with white rice), and a fun color changing butterfly pea limeade. Our instructor was super professional and balanced learning and the practicalities or working with non-professionals just right. Other classes I've enjoyed include Empanadas, Vietnamese street food, Indian appetizers, and chinese buns. The variety offered is amazing, and you can pick either weeknights or Saturday 10am-1pm.

I felt like I got no real support from them they they didn't give me a chance to learn a lot of the basics that an RN should know by graduation. There was one Carol Nash, person, one of the instructors who was extremely unfair to me. She even admitted that she just didn't like me as a person so she decided not to give me a chance when there was an opportunity to learn; she would never let me partake in the interesting observations or learning experiences and that went on throughout the entire time. The instructors were poor quality not very fair markers, they would have their favorites. If I wasn't highly motivated to get my RN I would have never made it. And to top it off at the very end of the last semester when I was just about to graduate one of the instructors decided me and this one other student did not have good isolation technique The entire time we were in school they never said anything about that but then the last week of school they threatened not graduate me and this one other student because the instructor didn't like my technique. So in order for us to pass we both had to pay a special tutor $100 and at the time that was a lot of money in '86 $100 a piece .Yet the tutor said that both of our sterile technique was good. They tried everything just to trip me up and few other people. I wasn't the only one who was treated poorly in that school.

Naturally, because it was something new, we were a bit anxious about the experience. We weren't sure of all the moving pieces or how easy/difficult the process would be. When Ryan left on Saturday evening, our kitchen sparkling, it was like he had never even been there, except we were stuffed with incredibly delicious food. From my first contact with Ryan to the when he left my mom's house, it was all so easy. The menu was easy to decide on (Ryan has a huge selection of dishes he can put together). Ryan was easy going and guided us through each step. Ryan brings everything he needs, pots, pans, silverware, china, and food. He got to work right away, and when it came time to sit down, we were treated to an incredible feast. Every course (we had 5 courses) was delicious and elegant. We were served by Ryan's assistant. It was really like we were in a restaurant. I was eating with my back to the kitchen, and it was hard to even know he was there. He was efficient and didn't distract from our dinner (he was also willing to chat when we pulled him into the conversation.) If you are at all anxious about the process of having a chef cook dinner in your house, you shouldn't be if you pick Ryan. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Here's what we ate (If we could do it again, we'd eliminate one of the first three course... we. were. stuffed.): Hard Cider Pumpkin Bisque (a table favorite. Fall in a bowl) Wedge Salad (the dressing was dynamite) Scallops and risotto (Another hit. This is where we were feeling rather full). Filet OR herb encrusted chicken (maybe the best filet I've had in a long while. Just cooked perfectly.) Tangerine Creme Brulee (blow torch demo included!). If you're thinking about doing something romantic for a significant other or planning a larger dinner (we had 9 people), you should hire Ryan. You won't regret it and you'll impress everyone.
