They have gone outside to show me where the fuse box is that I couldn't find, gave me helpful advice to prevent issues, are reasonably priced and have the parts I need when I need it. Recently I needed a very odd battery for a project car and looked online for who would carry it. Despite all the big chain stores showing it in stock, no one had it. I remembered DAS, we aren't very local to it and they not only had it but said they'd hold it for me until I got there. Wow. Great service and it's a local business. Lastly, to the woman who was upset about not being allowed to park when she needed the emergency vet. There are literally 4 spots for the auto parts store and a subway. The emergency vet is in the next building and has parking in the rear. Would you be upset that the police wouldn't let you park on Tarrytown road? I understand the urgency of your situation... I have been there but park illegally in front of the vet and once your animal is inside with them... go park your car. It's not the auto part store's responsibility to provide you a place to park that prohibits them from doing business. That review was not necessary. This is a good business... my opinion anyway

I've been emailing and talking to countless car dealerships and brokers all week, as I'm in the…read moremarket for a lease. During this chip shortage situation, finding a reasonable lease has proven to be quite the challenge. I actually traveled all the way from Long Island to White Plains to meet them, as they not only had the exact car I wanted, but they were super polite and fair in their pricing. I initially spoke to their Internet Manager Stephanie on the phone and then Brian, my sales rep. They were both super down to earth and easy to work with. Brian's been particularly helpful with getting all my docs and paperwork in order too and has a very zen and professional vibe. As soon as I arrived, I noticed a "Hyundai Hope on Wheels" display. For every car sold since its inception in 1988, a donation is made to help children fight cancer. Apparently over $185 million has been donated in support over 1,000 research grants, all focused on improving outcomes for kids battling the disease. That's a cause I can 1,000,000% get behind. After putting down my things, Brian showed me the car, which was a 2022 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. It was super sleek, sophisticated, classy, clean and down right beautiful.. oh and it gets about 51 miles to the gallon! Hyundai has sure come a long way since when I was a kid, that's for sure! Loving their new designs and technology... such a bargain for the price! In my view, they give you the features of a $55k car, for about half the price (depending on model). Anyhow, when it came down to the nitty gritty of pricing, I spoke with Alan Zhu, who is their Finance Manager. Talking pricing and negotiating can most often be a rather uncomfortable time for most, especially if you've never down it before. In my discussion, I felt that he was being very transparent and quite fair. He didn't pressure me and even gave me appropriate time to think and consider all the angles, both in his office and the waiting room (love their hot chocolate machine by the way!). In my experience with multiple Finance Managers at other dealerships, Alan takes the cake. In fact, I use a calculator that only brokers seem to have access to, which has Hyundai credit tiers, pricing, and incentive algorithms built into their adjustable figures.. and the final price he offered me was right in-line with my own numbers, +/- a few dollars. Unfortunately, The deal fell through at the last second due to some issues on my end (I'm currently disputing a fraudulent ding on my credit report for the second time.. darn you liers at Optimum!). If it wasn't for Allen, I would have never known what illegal tricks Optimum was up to and how it might impact future plans, ie. house buying, cars, loans, etc. While we were both a bit disappointed, Alan was very professional and very much understood my perspective. In fact, he gave me an extremely reasonable price and said the offer is still good, as long as the car is available when I'm able to move forward. If you're in the market for a new car and live in the area (or don't mind traveling), consider giving Stephanie, Brian and Allen a buz

I dropped my car off on time, and it sat there untouched all day long. It didn't move a single inch from where I parked it in the morning. When I went to get my keys, they casually told me I'd have to leave it for 3 to 5 days just to be looked at, and then claimed there is a three-month waitlist for a loaner car! My entire day was completely wasted, and I had to take my vehicle elsewhere to get serviced. To top it off, the manager is completely gutless. I asked to speak to him, and he was pointed out to me across the room. He stared directly at me and clearly heard my entire conversation. Instead of doing his job and talking to an upset customer, he got out of his chair and literally bolted into the restricted area of the garage so I couldn't follow him. The regular staff were polite, but the management is an absolute joke. This was the worst dealership experience I've ever had. Take your business literally anywhere else.

In other words, they do a decent job of making you feel less terrible about spending money on your broken car. The waiting area has lots of seating with comfy chairs, free WiFi and plenty of outlets, coffee and bottled water, and a quiet room. They also will get you an Uber so you don't have to wait. The price on our tire change was surprisingly competitive, and for a specific model tire on a new vehicle we found that their prices compared well with discount shops. Like other shops, you may schedule a wait-on appointment at your peril. Indeed, their conception of a quick repair makes sense only to mechanics and French historians studying the longue duree. So when we went in for a tire change, it took 2 hours. Again, they offered and Uber at the beginning, and when I made my displeasure known about 90 minutes in, they offered me a loaner. So between a long wait and effortful, caring service, the account balances. I'd also point out to other Subaru drivers that their appointment availability is generally much better than their northern neighbors at Curry in Mohegan Lake.

After 5-6 months however it turned out there were two major safety issues with the car and Subaru did not assist or get back to me. Even though the car was secondhand, I did expect it to be fully serviced, and if there were any issues they should have been discussed. The two issues: front low arm bushing needed to be replaced immediately. Car was unsafe to drive. Cost $850. Rust around the brakes another big repair $800. I did not expect these repairs in my first year owning this car. What made me most upset was that Subaru ignored my emails. Because of this, I cannot recommend this Subaru dealer.

I was assured these would be taken care of, but after the first attempt at repair, the truck was returned with a clear coat finish that was unacceptable--filled with swirl marks and holographic scratches. When I raised this concern, I was told a proper clear coat correction would be performed. Unfortunately, the second attempt also left the truck with poor results. On the third occasion, General Manager Phil personally assured me that a professional detailing crew would be hired to resolve the matter. I trusted this would finally correct the issue, but once again, the results were disappointing. At this point, the truck looks worse than ever, and the situation has caused nothing but frustration and wasted time on my end. I should not be forced to repeatedly bring my new vehicle back to the dealership for the same unresolved problem. As a customer who made a significant investment in this truck, I expect the dealership to uphold its responsibility and deliver the quality promised. While I could pay an independent professional to properly correct the paint, I strongly believe this is the dealership's responsibility to resolve at no additional cost to me. I ask that this matter be escalated and handled appropriately without further delays or excuses. Please provide a clear resolution plan, as I should not be left dealing with a brand-new vehicle in this condition.
