Then another Portuguese local recommended this place. We didn't come during peak lunch hour, but the place was still rather busy. This place is not exact on the waterfront, separated from it by a wide street, though the view is quite open. We are glad the menu is available in English and the waiter is also fluent in English. We ordered a sole, and a risotto. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dinner, the quality of seafood is very good, and the price very reasonable. There are lots of seafood restaurants lining the street and as it was our first time eating here we don't know how it measures up to its neighbors, but it was definitely a pleasure experience.

Since he is a local, he highly recommended that we order the Fried Squid meal. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly employee that led us to a table within the outdoor seating area. After providing us with menus, we ordered one fried squid meal and two glasses of the Periquita Rosé. 10 minutes later our meal arrived at our table. The fried squid was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly fried so that the exterior of the squid was crispy (not dry), and the inside was surprisingly juicy. The pairing of fries with the squid was so delightful that we ordered a second fried squid meal to share amongst ourselves. The Periquita Rosé was just ok in our opinions. However, my wife and I are not fans of Rosé, we merely tried it because our tour guide recommended it. We ended up ordering a round of the Planalto dry white wine, which was better in our opinions. If the fried squid meal was an accurate depiction of how the other meals on their menu taste, I'm disappointed that we couldn't have revisited this restaurant at least two more times. I HIGHLY recommended this restaurant to any seafood lover!

It was hoppin' when we arrived but we snagged an open patio table pretty quickly and were given drinks promply. We made a great choice with the half pitcher of sangria. So good! We opted for red but most tables got white. Glass, half pitcher or large pitcher. On the table upon arrival: sausage, olives, fried fish cakes, bread (so good-well seasoned). Know that these table items are not free like in the US. You are able to tell them "no thanks" to whatever items you don't want and they will take them away with no charge. We kept all items this time since it was our first meal in Lisbon area and we wanted to try new things. We also ordered: Shellfish Mix Platter (Cold shrimp, crab mix dip, au gratin shrimp dip/spread, crab, garlic shrimp). We should have known better with the cheese/seafood combos that this was a gimmicky meal. Most of the items ended up tasting a bit heavy instead of light, flaky, and flavorful like fish can/should be. We did enjoy the garlic shrimp and the crab, but the dips were too heavy for us. Fries-best we've had in Portugal Spoke English. They gave us an English menu upon recognizing our "unique" Portuguese attempts. Note that they take Euros only. No cards. We would go back nut not order the platter.

We were here for the carnival. We have look up yelp and the this restaurant did not disappoint us. We start with local beer and Sangria. Local beer is super bock. It is a light beer. We started with the octopus. It tentacle is section cut in dish with olive oil. It is fun appetizers. We also have the bamboo clam which is call Atlantic jackknife. This clam I have it at Malaysia. Now I see them in Portugal. It is delicious cook with stir fry. It is also delicious. We also have the little neck clams. It is good too. Our entree is the garlic shrimp. The garlic was pan seared to crispy and cook with the shrimp. The aroma is perfect. Last and the best is the season king crab look like massive dungeon crab. The center of the top shell is stuff with crab meat stuffing. The crawl taste like Florida stone crab and sweet. I like my experience here. Highly recommended.

Table seating was by the front and along one wall with the rest at the bar that dominated the middle of the restaurant. Menu was almost the same with a great selection of seafood ranging from tacos, ceviche appetizers to pasta, fish and shellfish entrees with many Asian flavors. The Peruvian ceviche was very nice with thin slices of fish, radish and red onions. The corn nuts added a nice crunch. It also came with a small bowl of toasted crostini chips. The cuttlefish tacos were delicious.. Big chunks of cuttlefish topped with tomatoes and placed on a small tortilla with a white sauce. We actually ordered just one but comped a pair. Sea bass was the best with its crunchy pan fried skin side topped with nori and the moist fish went perfectly with the barley and miso sauce combination. Even the bok choy was cooked well. The squid ink pasta had a mild sauce but scallops were nicely seared. At the end the owner offered us a shot of ginja to try for our first time. It was sweet but at least lower in alcohol,16%. Another great meal and service even two years later. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting some seafood here in Lisbon.
