Halibut with Fermented Mushroom: I enjoyed this, the halibut was so buttery and creamy. Deer with Cauliflower: I've never had deer before, but this was dIfficult to cut through. It was cooked medium rare and had a very slight gamey taste, but still good. The cauliflower had roasted macadamia nuts on top that was to die for. Cheese Plate: The server dropped this off without explaining what was on the plate. I'm guessing it was Brie, Bleu and some other hard cheese. I don't know what the other two dipping jams were, but they were good. Prickly Pear Sorbet Dessert: The presentation was beautiful, but I felt like there were too many flavors going on to really enjoy it. Envy is best reserved for a special occasion and I would definitely come back for a regular dinner to try their traditional tasting menu. Our waitress recommended 8 dishes for the two of us, making a big deal of how tapas should be a progression from cold to hot plates. They barely even fit on our tiny table, we ended up having to hold our drinks the whole time to make room, then tried to eat one handed. When I said we were a bit surprised that everything came all at once, she snapped at us that the food came out when it was ready. I let it go, but obviously that's the reason a servers duty is to enter the food in at least two courses. Anyway, the food itself wasn't very good, the albondiga was undercooked, the shrimp tasted gamey, and as someone with a Spanish brother in law who has eaten a lot of tapas, this was the worst experience I've had. Also, one of the plates ended up tipping over, spilling oil on my son's shoes and ruining them. So pretty awful and can't recommend.
