So much so that when I knew I would be moving into a new home in a retirement community west of Boston, I knew it was time to buy two nightstands to go with the bed. The Memorial Day Sale mailing made it happen. Fast forward to move-in date here where I discovered to my dismay that the wall for the bed wasn't wide enough to accommodate the new, as yet undelivered, nightstands! Scrambling th the help of my niece, I found two others on their website that would work. But would Pompanoosuc Mills honor an exchange of two custom made nightstands for these different ones? They would! Understandably they voiced a wish I'd realized this sooner--as did I, of course. The new nightstands won't be delivered until the first of the new year. But that is a very small price to pay for being able to deal with a company that has truly bent over backwards to keep a customer happy. I like this store because it is open stock. So if you pick something out, they are most likely going to have it in the back, where they bring it up front to you. There are two levels in this store. The top is furniture. And the bottom is kitchen and house essentials. The one thing I thought was weird was how there is no parking lot, you must pay for time in the parking garage, which made me personally feel rushed. Although many places now in the cities do the parking meter for parking, I just feel more revenue would go into the business if there was an actual lot. The customer service is great, and I loved how well organized it was. It reminded me of something Ellen Degeneres would design. Will definitely be back!

Something has to change since no one wants to deal with a business where you can't get through on the toll-free number or when you go into the store, they spend a half an hour trying to find your order.
