They claim you can save up to 70 percent off regular prices. The store was well stocked and very neat when we shopped today. I didn't find anything I wanted, but my wife did. We'll be attending a Charity Banquet and Ball in a few weeks, and she was looking for a dress to wear. She found a beauty - a nice red Calvin Klein dress stickered at $134 but tagged at just $49.97. That's 62% off. Customer service was great. When we went to the register to pay, we saw a minor stitching defect at the back of the dress. Our cashier arranged for a runner to head back to the rack with us and we found the exact same dress in perfect condition. No complaints at all.

Then when it's my turn, I ask the cashier if there's anything they can do about the deodorant stain on the tank top, and she asks Jill. Jill said if I don't take it, she will "damage it out." I don't know what that means, and she looks at me like I'm an idiot. At this point, I have had it with Jill and I decided I'm not paying for a stained tank top, especially when she's not even bothering to wipe it off for me, so I say that I actually won't take it. She rolls her eyes and I walk out. I turn around and see her wiping off the stain so she puts it back on the rack. So you couldn't do that for me when I wanted it? And so you were lying when you said you were going to damage it out? Lastly, I ask her if I can pass on my $10 birthday reward to someone else on the line and she gives me some made up answer about how it's my account and not theirs - okay so why can't you process my discount for theirs? You just put in the promo code and that's it. She was so awful that I never want to step foot in White House again.

As well as accessories like jewelry, sunglasses and purses. There's also a small selection of home items in this store. I like to check what's new here occasionally. In the past I've purchased some nice purses, sunglasses and shoes. Occasionally they'll have an additional 20% off of their red tag items, for me that's the best time to get a great deal on something I've been eyeing. Otherwise, I think most items are overpriced here, designer or not. I like going into this store anyway, it has a nice layout, friendly staff, and easy returns if necessary. Such a person does not belong in any customer facing role, and is a liability, PR disaster or a lawsuit waiting to happen for J.Crew. It makes little sense for J.Crew to embrace the diversity of different sizes in its expensive image building campaign, only to undermine that by controversially hiring store clerks that body shame customers and openly laugh at their weight gain and inability to fit in the smaller J.Crew sizes. Such conduct can especially be damaging to J.Crew's image during present times when everyone has a camera in their phones and can post videos of such controversial and egregious conduct online and on social media. A corporation that has attracted controversy in the past for introducing miniscule sizing such as xxxs and 000 should be more cautious and mindful of whom it hires and how it trains its staff against bullying and body shaming of customers.

But, when I got to the cash register it ended up being a total of $115 for only 3 items!!! Absolutely outrageous! I had to ask the cashier to remove one of the pairs of jeans or I would've gone completely broke. Not to mention, it ended up being a total of $70 for only 2 items!! You're telling me that's 40% off? What a rip off. Be careful shopping here because their "deals" are nothing but a lie.

This morning, my mom and I went to AE and we saw a round rack that says 14.99. After we picked out…read morea couple of jeans, we head over to check out. The cashier, Nikki was the one who checked out for us. However when she scanned the jeans, each one was 24.99, and so I told her that that can't be right because those jeans were in the round rack with a sign that says 14.99. And she told us that that sign says 14.99 and up, but we told her that we only saw 14.99. So she went to ask one of the managers and the manager said to give it to us for 14.99. After we made our purchase, we decided to go back in a few hours. When we did, we picked out like a few more jeans and head over to check out. Again, they ranged the jeans up and it was 24.99 and so I told them that we found it on the 14.99 rack and that we got the same ones this morning for that price. And again she said it was 14.99 and up, but I told her that I didn't see the "and up" on the sign, and so she went to call her manager. This time it was a different manager, Sonia. She looked to be in her early 20s, around 5 ft 4, don't know her ethnicity but she was white, and not too skinny. She came over to help clear up the problem but one thing about her that bothered me and my mom was her attitude. She didn't smile to us, nor did she acknowledge the customers misunderstandings. She was being very rude and every words that came out of her mouth was like daggers and it seems like she had something against us. Umm...hello? We're customers. You could have said what you want to say in a respectful and polite manner. She was very informal to us and to my mom. Very disrespectful. She's an example of those people who customers won't want to come back to. I didn't know if she was having a bad day or just didn't like working at AE, but I was fed up with her attitude and the way she communicate and treat her other co workers. I felt sorry for Nikki because she got barked at by her when she was only doing what she was supposed to do. Sonia even told me with that attitude of hers, "you can walk over there and see it for yourself." And so guess what? I did! And I only saw 14.99, but then I saw "and up" in like a 4 font not bold letters... I mean the other customers wouldn't even realize that that was there unless someone told you and you have to look for it, who would do that?! We only pay attention to the price and what's big. Anyhow I wasn't upset with the store or the small, "and up" sign anymore what really made me upset was her rude, disrespectful, and annoying attitude of hers. I just hope my mom and I don't have to see her anymore. So rude!

It was a brand/chain we were unaware of and had never heard of before. It is a smaller size store of the mall and if it was busy moving around would be difficult. Thankfully during our stop in they were offering a deal on everything in the store for a cheap price of $10. This is realistically the only reason why my wife made the decision to even buy anything. Normally the leggings the sell for $40 each so the two pairs she was lucky to snag for a little over $20 after tax would normally be $80+ after tax. While she has enjoyed the leggings and believes they are very comfy/cozy does not believe they are worth that hefty price tag. So, if you visit this location or another, and even go to their website I would say only grab things if on sale and not at full price. This is the reasoning for the 4 stars instead of 5.
