He went above and beyond to take care of her. He saw she had difficulty getting out of the chair and got her a cushion to make it easier for her to get up. He suggested shoes, got her peds since she doesn't wear socks, put them on her scary feet. He went above and beyond to help her. Although she didn't find any shoes I wouldn't hesitate to go back there again if Jason was there to help. Footprints is lucky to have an employee like him! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

It's kind of off the beaten path so I hope they get more traffic. It's a cute store and they have a nice selection of shoes for kids. I found a nice pair of new balance sneakers for my daughter as well as socks, a winter hat and gloves. My mom wanted to check out their Clarks selection. This was our first visit to Newington's Ollie's, and we scored a fantastic deal. I am the Committee Chair for a convention next month, and one of the participation activities for the conventioneers will be assembling kits to donate to a Boston charity for children in need. We are set on the school supply side, but we are still a little short on the socks and underwear side for 50 boys and girls. So, when I saw a "15% off" email from Ollie's, it seemed like a divine sign to make a pilgrimage to the new Ollie's in Newington. And guess what we found? How about 5-packs of boy's underwear marked down to $2.99? BEFORE our 15% discount. Thank you, Lord Ollie. Ollie's was stocked to the gills and very neatly shelved. We bought this eclectic mix of goods: a big bag of Dot's pretzels, five boxes of K Cup coffees, a bottle of shampoo, a jar of pickled zucchini, a jar of salsa, and 20 of the aforementioned underwear 5-packs for just a shocking $88. Ollie's is a fun store to browse around in, and today we made out like bandits.

It is well lit and organized, super fun to walk around and explore the options. The employee who helped me out, Wayne, was very knowledgeable and passionate about leather making. He showed me his work in the shop and walked with me to pick out things that I may need to get into the hobby. You can tell he is really there to help you rather than trying to upsell you things you do not need. Which I ended up buying maybe more than what I need anyways since it was such a pleasant experience. 10/10 recommend and would be back again!

I discovered this establishment many a years ago back when Connie was still there. I loved them…read morethen and still love them now. I brought my niece in to get fitted for a flower girl dress that I bought several sizes too big (it was such a good deal, I couldn't pass it up). The woman I spoke with (new owner I assume) was very honest and open about what would need to be done. Absolutely no surprises. I knew exactly what to expect when I went to pick it up and she was spot on. It was a difficult dress to work with, and it was explained to me in depth before I left it with them. I was not pressured to move forward with the alterations once the fitting was over and I appreciated that. I did however move forward with getting the alterations feeling very confident after the explanation I received. When I picked it up the dress wasn't perfect, but looked exactly how it was explained to me it would look. My point in this review is 1) Service is exceptional 2) you are told exactly what to expect even if not perfect so you can make a truly informed decision 3) prices are reasonable 4) quick turnaround I highly recommend this tailor. Just be aware they don't accept credit cards, it's cash or check only.
