While you're there, they stock lots of home necessities (trash bags were cheaper than CVS, just sayin'), craft supplies, snacks, glitzy purses, fairly awesome glittery jewelry, and a solid cheap toy selection. I always leave with more than I intended because they do goodies like imported hard candy, they have a lot of sparkly stuff, they know to put the toilet plunger display right where you stop and think "you know, I don't own a toilet plunger, gotta fix that." It's still a discount store, so don't leave at home your judgment on price and quality. Everyone I've talked to there is nice. Aisles are wide enough to be comfortable; store is clean and bright.

My friend and I had a great time looking through all their beautiful gems. I loved their collection of vintage silk scarfs from Japan. They're of stunning quality and vibrant colors. They have jewelry, formal dresses, coats, shoes, art work, decor items, greeting cards and books. There is also a downstairs section of kids furniture, with the most adorable tiny desk, books, and little girls dresses. There was a pair of little girls Mexican sandals, that I just wish I had a little girl in my life to get them for. This store is so beautifully styled, that alone is a masterpiece. There was one lady working, I'm not sure if she's the owner, she said I could try on anything I like. I looked at a pair of really fun earrings, but they were clip ons, and a bit too big for me, so I passed. This store is a pleasure to walk through, and maybe you'll find something to add to your wardrobe, at the very least it's nostalgic shopping trip. I'll for sure stop by when I'm in the area next.

First, I would like to say that Carol is very generous and kind. I met her when I attended a fashion show fundraiser for a community organization. I told her that I was looking for a stylist, and she immediately said that she would be happy to help me. Carol, and the other 2 women that work for her, were extremely helpful, as were the other customers. This is not your typical store. There was actual camaraderie amongst everyone in the store. Everyone supported one another. Opinions were honest and uplifting, whether it was Carol, her staff, or the other customers. In appreciation for the large purchase that I made, Carol offered me a free item. When I asked if I could donate it to an animal rescue, for use in a fundraiser, she told me that she would give me a second item, so that I could donate one and keep the other. The clothing line at Carol's Creations is very unique. You will not find mass-produced items here, and that is a huge part of the appeal to me. Everything is high quality, and I expect it to last. I am happy that I was able to find clothing that is flattering and different. Anything you purchase here will make you look your best, and you will not look like all of the other people in the room. If you want to find beautiful clothes and friendly, helpful, sales associates, this is the place to go.
