On 1-12-26 around 1240 I was using self checkout and I had asked for a bag. Just want to know is it target policy for the worker at self check to hover over paying customers almost touching them? There was a worker he wa right in my back chin basically touching my shoulder making sure I said for the bag when it clearly said in the screen the bag was paid for. That worker told me that it's state law to pay for bags and he tried touching my screen while I had my debit card in hand and was extremely close to my face. That homosexual ( it's not against the law to call someone a homosexual in California since that individual wants to bring up state laws) made me feel uncomfortable and honestly felt sexually harassed by how close that worker was to me. Target treating customers like crap little by little as time goes by! I went to the Target on Mooney not very pleased. Their website said the closed at ten but a 8:30 the started to close their dressing rooms. I asked an employee to open a dressing room and he said all of them were closed. Not to mention the trash all over the store there was no organization anywhere. Decent target. They are usually stocked and have what we need/looking for. They tend to open more checkouts when they notice lines are getting long, which is nice. When cashier rang up my items, I noticed one of the items was marked full price when there was a 30% off sign hanging above it on the floor. She called her supervisor to ask. I notified the supervisor that there was a sign & she said to me "it's an online deal" so I asked her why the sign was up on the floor. She then proceeded to say "if you would let me finish I could tell you that I'm granting it". She said it in a very ugly tone and gave me a look as if I was stupid. Covid-19 phase: Good Target. It was clean. Workers had masks on and masks are required by customers. There were just a lot of areas where there wasn't anything left. Luckily they had everything I needed.I bought Sweet and Lo, diet Cola-didn't have Pepsi, turkey sausage flat-breads, water, flat-outs, toothpaste, toothbrush, Fiber gummies, gum, protein bars, paper towels and laundry detergents. An extra star was earned thanks to the service! It was easy to ask a worker if I couldn't find anything and they were happy to help. It was appreciated! Plus, the worker at check out was nice too. They do have self-checkout. I just had a lot and didn't want to do it. Really great service and of course, great stuff, it is Target. I am a part of their Red card so I get a great deal! Highly recommend getting one. You get great deals, but Target normally does have great sales and deals anyways! Today I called target on Mooney 7 times trying to reach customer service because I lost my bank card. No one ever answered. I called a agin but, tried another department and the young lady said she would walk up the front and have them answer my call. 15mins later no answer and phone went dead. This time I called for the 9th time and it went to electronics and a young man name Gabriel answered my call and he actually kept led me on the phone with him until he went to the front and asked about a lost bank card. They didn't see one there and he went on further to ask in the safe and money department if a card was turned in and he helped look but, it wasn't turned in ! Well, I haven't been to our friendly neighborhood French superstore,"Tar-Jea" ....aka: Target in years. So after searching online for a certain item that I can no longer find ANYWHERE the good ole internet lead me there! So much to my chagrin.....the item was NOT in stock, in store nor in inventory! Humm, go "figger!" Therefore, there's a little ole lady occasionally wandering the streets of our fair city in stained, un-clean clothes.....Me! Not really, but so sad I couldn't/can't find what I need. And needless to say have used for 50 years! Now, there IS a bright side and her name is Renee! Miss Renee who was working in that dreaded self-check out area was a gem of all gems!! Upon pushing my cart into that dungeons of all dungeons, she greeted me with a warm and welcoming hello! I could tell right away she was genuine. And indeed she was! I required more assistance which she was happy to provide. It's not often we meet people who really enjoy what they are doing. -I enjoy coming to this target a lot! However, I have ran into a few issues with the LP's here. Been followed multiple times before to the point where they stood a couple of cash registers behind me "paying" for items. It's the LP's with their blue collared shirts and also the undercover ones. It's quite sad when I shop here everyday and they see me there everyday. I personally do not give out vibes or dress or bring in backpacks from outside to make it seem like I'm robbing the place. -The family restrooms needs major cleaning. I walked in one time last week during the weekday at 3:30 pm and it smelled horrible, was super warm, the baby changing station left open (no room between the station and the sink to wash hands), wrappers of the pads (feminine hygiene) left on the floor, the seat covers all over the floor, and the worst part was that there was human feces smeared on the sink. (You might think I'm a little over dramatic but who wants to see feces on the sink while trying to wash your hands and then trying to get paper towels. Which the dispenser isn't automatic so the chance of that feces being spread in the restroom was high and I felt just so grossed out.) This target is crying for help!!! read more

Went in with several questions and problems with a complicated piece of hardware for my Broken toaster. Found their service manager, Jared, who confidently pointed me in the right direction with a wink and a smile. When I got to the right department, I was pleasantly surprised to see Jared again on the other side of the counter. He explained that he was the go-to guy with tech problems, as he had previous experience at Best Buy. In a flash he had my tv working like new and he even gave the screen a wipe down when he was done. "Just in time for Game if Thrones!" He chimed and sent me to the register for checkout. When I got to the register, I was once again greeted by Jared! He was covering the register for a coworker who needed to take a lunch. What a team player. He asked if I wanted to sign up for a target credit card, explaining that I could be saving 5% on in store purchases. I agreed and he swiftly took me through the steps. Overall, this Jared guy seems like a keeper, he is one sharp cookie who seems to be a real jack of all trades. read more

Warning: don't be mislead with the Red Card 90 day return policy. I was really disappointed with the return service I received today. I had bought an Instapot for $49.99 in January, which was a very good price . I loved the pot but it recently started shorting out at the attached cord and turning itself off. I was happy to remember that I had bought it with my Target Red Card which allowed for a 90 day return policy. My disappointment was, after the clerk conferred with the manager by walk-in talkie, I was told that the return department would not let me exchange the defective item for the same one. They would only refund the purchase and I would have to purchase it at the current price of $119.99! I felt that since the item was defective and I had the Red Card 90 day return, that an even return would have been fair. I was not going to pay $70 more for the same exact item! I had them refund the purchase and went to buy it at Costco where at least I know they will back the product. Beware! read more

This store knowingly sold me a defective tv. It literally had the sticker that said defective on it. I didn't realize this since I got it "drive up" and once I got home the screen had a nasty crack. And then I saw the yellow CRC sticker on the box labeled defective. They offered a rain check once it was back in stock. That was it. By the time I go back with my truck a 3rd time any savings I got during Black Friday don't matter considering the time and fuel. Just garbage. read more

We just experienced the Drive Up option and it was AWESOME!!!! Finally a way to go shopping when you just wanna stay in your PJ's and not have to get out of your car. When we placed the order on the Target app we ran into a few minor things, like for one, you can't order any cold items to be picked up. I tried to order some lemonade, wasn't available for in store pick up or drive up. Other than that we ordered a pillow, some hair spray, soda lol. Your everyday "this is what I'm wanting right now" kind of list. The app asks you to let them know when you're on your way, as soon as you pull into one of the spots you tell them you're there, a bar code pops up and within less than a minute we had a Target member come to our door and she was super sweet and helpful! They ask for a signature and you're all set! Best experience ever! read more

I used the drive thru pick up option today. The target app alerted me that the order was ready for pick up. When I arrived, the staff informed me it wasnt ready. I literally had only 5 items. When they got my bag finally after some wait, the spaghetti box was open. I called them and was asked to come in for guest services to get it exchanged. I ended up bringing it back and then waiting for them to get the replacement. It wouldve taken me a lot less time to simply have gotten the items myself. I was in the store purchasing a big item. I saw the promotional for the "Red Card," so I applied. I spent over an hour on the phone with two agents, store clerk, and a manager. So, the new "Red Debit Card," wasn't working... even though I received an emails staying "show now!" The manager kept taking things off of my order and the card # still didn't work. Since it wouldn't go through, the manager advised me to call customer service. I called Target and was passed around with the Customer Relations Dept and the Red Card dept. They said they don't know the dollar amount I am allowed spend... you just have to make small purchases for awhile, to establish a history with the card. (again they didn't tell me how much or how long). It makes no sense... I'm just supposed to go to the register and buy little things!?... when will I know if I can do regular shopping with it!? No answer. I wanted to take my $500 purchase back and go somewhere else... but the supervisor assured me that I will receive the $50 gift voucher with the Red Card, in the mail. I was promised an 5% back on the purchase (aprox $27) e-gift card in my email within 48 hours. So, I never received the e-gift card and the gift voucher was not in the envelope with my Red Card. They kept saying they sent it and to check my junk mail etc. (talking to me as if I am ignorant) Years ago I had the credit and red card with them. Due to issues and customer service, I cancelled both and quit shopping at Target. I started shopping there again, but didn't get the card, until I saw this promotion, which would give me $77 back on my purchase. I have spent hours on the phone and to no avail! Today, they again said they will send me both. We shall see! I am about to cancel this card and stop shopping at Target again!! I hate the recent remodel and new layout of the Target store on Mooney Blvd. in Visalia, CA. Nothing makes sense - the layout of shelves at weird angles, the clothing departments are spread out in confusing way, out of stock of so many items, etc. They now play annoying pop music which they did not do before. Can there be any place anymore that is just quiet so you can think? It makes me want to get out of there as quickly as possible. Also, it always seems pretty dirty inside at the entrance these days...trash on the floor, etc. I do like the employees - they have always been helpful and friendly. I used to enjoy shopping there - it was easy to find things, usually had what I needed, was not difficult to navigate around the store, but sadly that is not the case any longer. read more

So I have a 10am meeting in Visalia. And along my 3+ hour trek up the 405, then the 5, then the 99, I make a grave mistake. I spill my drink all over my lap. Not wanting to go into the meeting looking incontinent, I need to think on my feet. Lucky for me, I'm ahead of schedule and I'm supposed to first meet my coworker at the Panera on Mooney. And lucky for me I remember seeing a notation for a Target on the Google Maps in the same lot. I pass by a Super Target on Prosperity and wonder if I should pull in there, but instead head up Mooney to check out the one in the Panera lot. I luck out and the Target is open by 9am - a big perk since some big box stores don't open until 10. The store is large, and there aren't too many people perusing the shop. Much less crowded than the Targets I've been to in Southern California. I beelined it for the ladies section and grabbed every work-appropriate outfit I could find to try on. Now, having previously worked at a Target, I know that the changing rooms can be really narsty. Not this one. Super-duper clean. And the fitting room attendant was nice and friendly. Plus, they had some really cute outfits that were conservative enough to be able to wear to work. Score. The rest of the store was also very clean and there were no long lines at checkout - I was in and out really quickly. The cashier (an LBC native) was also really friendly and didn't pester me about getting a Target card. Thank you, cashier, for noticing how frazzled I was and not asking me if I want to save 10% off a small purchase for going through the hassle of getting another CC. Driving non stop from Los Angles pulled over at this super target, its a supermarket inside with restaurants like Starbucks a Pizza shop inside this store. The Valentine chocolates were at sale for 50% off and the valentine decorations were at sale for 70% off. So made a superb saving getting this stuff.
