Carlos from the electronics dept is great. He's friendly, accomodating, and extremely helpful and he goes out of his way. Best service I have received at Target. read more

take an average target, make it really big, and give it a parking structure that navigates like inside a tower. more or less as friendly/unfriendly or messy/neat as any other, just that it's in van nuys. read more

It's Target. Things are not in the right place, people are rude. But, it's Target. So what else do you expect? Go in with your expectations low and you come out a winner! read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. Worst Target mobile department I've been to as well. I've had to come back and forth 5 separate times about the same errors made when I got my phone. I even tried to file a complaint about it and the managers there was no help. It makes you look at Target in a different light. I mean why do you work there if you can't help? Or know what to do for mistakes YOU'VE made? Just unacceptable. read more

Bathrooms closed. Didn't need a shopping cart but couldn't find a hand basket. Customer service couldn't find one either. Bought less because I had to carry my items in my arms. Watched another customer try to get an employee's attention but employee couldn't hear him because -- ear buds. Not a good experience. read more

I come from a different state that only has one level Targets. Since it's new to me, I had to go through all of level one to make sure I had everything and then go through all of level two. I then realized I needed to go back down to get something I forgot. Its just annoying to keep going up and down. I also have the cartwheel app and the guy said to scan it at the end. I wanted to set up a red card and the guy said I needed an actual check which who carries that around anymore? Saved that for a later time too and he forgot to scan my cartwheel coupons. read more

I used to enjoy shopping for clothes here but recently things have gone MAJORLY downhill. While shopping, I told one of the girls who worked in women's clothing that I would be leaving a pile of clothes to try on at the desk by the fitting rooms. She said that would be fine. When I came back to get it after trying on my first batch of clothes, it was gone and no one knew what happened to it. I was livid and ask to speak to a manager, who, after apologising profusely, told me that the new corporate policy was that no one was working in the dressing rooms anymore which was causing a lot of problems. I couldn't believe anyone could come up with such an idiotic policy. Ultimately, it ended up being the store's loss because I could have walked out of there with a several hundred dollar purchase, so it looks like they're losing business because of their stupidity. Guess I'll be shopping somewhere else now. read more

Only reason they get a star is because I have to put something! 1. They over price everything compared to other targets . 2. Their coupon policy is different from other target. Normal targets accept 4 like coupons but this target "2" only !??? Makes no sense if you are going to be a target be like each one if not create Your only brand store. Manager Connie came n set the rules of 2 like coupons. I was buys a lot of 3 same product I ended up leaving most of the items I was going to buy. When the cashier clearly took 4 of the same coupons from the Customer in front of me ? Makes no sense manager only said because of fake coupons? All my coupons are real, I felt like a unappreciated customer only because of my coupons. They definitely lost a great customer! Also 3- manager took about 10 mins. to get to us and helps us out so their was a long line awaiting for us. read more

Had the worst experience with a Manager, she had no customer service skills, was not helpful, and did not apologize for an item that was purchased from the store & defective. I will not spend a dime at this location, due to poor quality of customer service from a person they called a Manager. She had no management skills what-so-ever! read more

This store has gotten worse and worse lately, prices not always accurate, they close earlier then stated, and make ppl go downstairs near closing time because I guess it's not CONVENIENT for the workers to keep a check stand open upstairs!! ... Came to this Target after visiting the one in Van Nuys on Raymer Street. Went specifically to get a toaster oven that was on sale at the Raymer Street location, which only had a non-functional display model. After speaking with the associate at the store he directed me to this target, which had four left. So I made the trek to Target located at 5711 Sepulveda Blvd. The parking at this Target is treacherous. Arriving at the small appliance department I noted that the model of toaster oven I was looking for was not on clearance at this store. I called over an associate who told me that each store determines what items go on clearance. The kicker, however, is that he told me that prices for every day items also vary by location. Hum... the more affluent the neighborhood the higher the prices! read more

i love this target location the parking is convenient, makes it easier to shop i buy there food and clothes its convenient to shop when you need variety of things such as food, clothes, gifts etc... one stop at one shop and your shopping becomes much easier. genius idea, thanks target. i know that you started way back in minnesota, good job you guys. i love your stores. good prices. keep spreading. i love when they do sales on clothes. read more

I freakin love this place! They always have everything I need when I need it...which can also be dangerous for my checking account!

Customer service here sucks. Called about a special being run online and was told it was also going on in store. Complete BS. Placed an order online to be picked up in this store less than 24 hours ago and received an email saying the items are out of stock. How is that possible for items to mysteriously go out of stock when the store was closed? Employees here are rude and not helpful at all. Will stick to other locations from now on. read more

i love this target and can not believe i did not review 1st!! ******this review is for the pharmacy: opened until 9pm!!! all the pharmacist are really helpful anytime i am too lazy to go see my doctor they always suggest good products and if they think i need to see a doctor they always let me know that "there is nothing over the counter that can help. im sorry but you do need to see a doctor" .... -my prescriptions are always ready before the quoted time - the staff is not only helpful but very amicable. they smile genuinely -they remember you!! and usually remember other prescriptions that might interact with the one you just received. they are awesome!!! read more

I like this Target , it's always really clean and maintained even though it's on Sepulveda blvd. It's also the closest one to me. The employees are helpful sometimes , when they know what they're doing. Other times I feel like they avoid people, especially by the fitting rooms. But I don't care , it's a target not a Costco, so It doesn't really matter to me whether or not someone helps me out, I can read signs in the store, I don't need a narrator. read more

This Target is the worst! I called to see if they carried an item and I was told to hold then they hung up on me. I called back again and I held on for the second time just to end up hearing the employees background conversion. I said hello....and I was treated as if it was my first time calling. The employees there care more about having conversations with eachother then their customers. This is really sad! Don't waste your time here it'll just frustrate you. read more

I trek all the way from The Hollywoods over the hill to The Valley to go to this Target, and I'm there at least once a week. It has 2 floors and tons of cool stuff! Yes, the parking can be problematic and a few days ago I did get into a competition with some freak over who could pull into an upcoming prime parking spot first. I got the spot, so no complaints here. Yahoo! read more

I lived in North Hollywood for 15 years and frequented the NoHo target on Victory. I recently moved to Sherman Oaks and the sepulveda Target is now only a few blocks from my new place. I remembered coming here a few years ago and not being impressed, but I was not going to drive into North Hollywood after work, so I embraced the change and stopped into my new neighborhood Target. First off, the parking structure is horrible, but I was lucky enough to find a spot on the first level..though i am fairly certain that this was a fluke and will probably never happen again. The inside was clean and pretty empty for a weeknight. I found everything I needed with no problem. Next up to the 2nd floor, which sorta blows to have to go to 2 different levels, but its kinda fun putting your cart into that escalator thingy..cheap thrills..then to my surprise a completely remodeled grocery area..it was huge and had so many things that other Targets don't stock. i didn't even need to do another stop at the grocery store.. Back downstairs in the fairly large women's clothing section there was a great sale..$6 dresses..yes, $6..but I passed since my cart already filled with at least $150 worth of stuff i have to say I was pleasantly surprised with my new Target..BUT it was the middle of the week..i think for weekend runs I'll head over to the Raymer Target which is my favorite Target by far :) read more

I am a pure Target fan. I love the ads, I love the clothes, I love Target.com. I CANNOT go into a Target without buying something. My stores are the Van Nuys one and the Empire one. They are similiar except the Van Nuys one tends to have more Latino/a patrons. But I have to tell you my experience in Buffalo New York. There is a Target on Niagara Falls Blvd that will make you want to move in!!! It has everything; it's miles long; the stock is there in quantity; and, the customer service is incredible. I asked someone why our's isn't as good and she couldn't tell me. I think it's because this Bflo Target is located in a very suburban white area and the Van Nuys Target is in a Latino/a area where there is less money. I bet the Target near Newport Beach is complete and lovely. sheila davis read more

I love this Target because there's never any lines and it's notX to like all the other targets and the sales clerk are fast and helpful and actually know where things are. So nice to be in and out fast without having to use the self check out or express lane. read more

The store itself gets 4 stars because it is large and usually has what I need. However, every single employee I've encountered here has been rude and unhelpful. I get it, I worked in retail for a long time. It's not the best job in the world. But man, a smile and a "how are you today?" goes a long way. I always leave disappointed, whether or not I got everything I needed. Please step up your game, Target. read more

Really good Target! It's 2-stories, which is always a nice touch when it comes to inventory. Came here for Black Friday and wasn't able to find anything. Not their fault though, I just didn't know what I wanted. My mom ended up buying a blanket that on sale for $10 (retail price $20). They had really good sales on Television though. 60' Samsung Television for $700. Really good deals for anyone who knows what they want. Parking is also a breeze. They have like four levels of parking, definitely easy to come in and find parking. Their elevators are also huge which makes it super convenient to carry things to your car. Definitely recommend going here. read more

Location is decent, but customer service/phone calls sucks. Better off calling another store. Every time I call it's about 5 minute wait or longer. Well, there's a pretty view from the window... If you're standing just on the edge of the Starbucks here, all you can see outside is a relatively pleasing landscape. I'm not so sure the view would hold up as well if you actually walked up to the window, though. I think then you might be able to see the street and cars, and whatnot. Anyway, that's kind of nice. I figured no one had said anything about this yet, so there you are. Target with a view. Other than that, I'm not sure about the employee training they have going on here. I'm not one to get upset over little mistakes or anything like that, but I do think it's relevant to note that twice, and on two separate occasions, and by two separate employees, my fiancé and I were asked how they were supposed to do something. Their job, namely. The first time, we had put something on hold at the desk so that we could come and pick it up later. When we came to pick it up, the woman at the customer service desk said she couldn't find it... and then asked us if we knew where else it could be other than behind their desk. Now, I guess it's a legitimate question. Maybe we had them hold it somewhere else. Like, in the break room or something. Still, though. I can't help but feel that perhaps they should keep closer tabs on their customer interactions. In any case, we told her we didn't know. Then she asked us if we knew what department our product was in. Again, a legitimate question, but I can't shake the feeling that she should have known. At the very least, there was a computer right in front of her for her ease of perusing their inventory. Which she did not do. Anyway, no harm done. We found the thing anyway... and are very happy with it, for what it's worth. The second time was a bit more blatant than the previous. Dan and I were buying a present off of a wedding registry for my cousin, and when we went to check out, the man at the register looked at the registry paper we'd printed out at their kiosk and asked us, "Do you know how to do this?" To which we replied, "... No...?" This time I kind of had to laugh. Because that's kind of funny. Anyway, this Target is pretty Targety. It's got all the Target trappings, and all those red bullseyes everywhere. If you never ever have to use the bathroom here, and don't mind waiting in line, it'll suit your purposes just fine. But seriously, never have to use the bathroom here. read more

this is my local Target. It's clean, fairly well-stocked, and has, well, Target prices. Just wish they had a Starbucks.

It's like any other target (huge selections) but the employees did not have their inventory correct in the electronic dept. I called first to make sure they had the LeapPad2 in stock. They confirmed that there are three. I went there and an employee checked his computer and it showed three were still on their inventory, however there were ZERO on the shelf. Sheesh, what a waste if time. read more

What can I say, It;s Target. I like to wander around and see what they have. The store is clean but it's hard to find someone to help you. Going forward I will use the phone for help but I wonder how dirty that phone is.... read more

One of the better Targets I've been to in terms of the cleanliness and layout of the store. I do get the impression they're understaffed though as I rarely see anyone when I'm there, which is usually at night around 8 or 9 pm. Though it's no fault of theirs, I always seem to end up in the slowest line. Someone at the front is always complaining about the price of a $3 shirt, trying to pay for a $12 ticket in coins, or has a ridiculous request for the cashier which she needs to call in. Still, I feel like this could be solved if they just had other lines open. Or maybe a self checkout? If it wasn't for the last two items I mentioned, this would be a four-star location. read more

This is one of the bigger Target stores in the valley. They always have a great selection of items and their shelves are always stocked.

I buy everything that I need for school, myself, cleaning supplies and anything that catches my attention. I like the clothing selection for kids, I like buying my munchkins clothes from here but not for myself, their selection doesn't catch my attention. I like coming here every semester. I'll buy everything that I need and stock up, so I don't have to be coming back. Even though, I don't wear make up often; I like browsing through their whole selection. I always end up buying a different kind of chap-stick. The lines to check out tend to be pretty short. You have the option to pay either on the first or second floor. The store itself is kept clean, you can find pretty much anything and their prices are cheap. read more

Parking lot is an absolute nightmare but the target is decent. I prefer the Burbank target at the empire center but this is not a bad store.

Overall, this Target is decent. What makes them a 3 star Target instead of a 5 star is the pharmacy. And here's why: 1. Almost every time I come in after receiving a message that my rx refill is ready, it's not. Then they ask if I called to refill in advance. No, isn't that the point of auto refill? Oh, and did I already mention that you guys left an automated message stating it was ready!? I'm clearly not alone in this because there is always someone else experiencing the same issue when I'm there. Get it together, please! 2. The pharmacist that I most frequently encounter, Ellie, is beyond rude. She hates her job and it shows. Not helpful and always seems agitated. Get off your cell phone and pay attention! Most of the other pharmacists are much better! Lack of team member help is not an excuse to be rude to customers. read more
