I stopped going to this Target after a few visits because it's always understocked with many missing items and the overall feel of the store is messy and disorganized. I worked here in 2020 during covid and was mistreated and harassed when I have a disability which they knew and still hired me. I will no longer go here anymore not even to shop because of being closed into a room and put between ETL John and another employee and I broke down crying because of the harassment and mistreatment when i was trying to do my job to the best of my ability! Me and my friend got kicked out for just walking around the store. They have secret shoppers following you throughout the store. Though we didn't act suspicious or anything we got told to leave the store for absolutely nothing. When I asked the worker why we had to leave he said we were being disruptive and fooling around. However we didn't act suspicious or anything along the lines of that. I wouldn't recommend going to this location unless you wanna be followed around and aren't allowed to shop in peace. read more

What is going on with the Topsham, ME store? Now the self-checkout is limited to 10 items and yet there is only one cashier available and the line was growing long. We were there on a mission to select bed sheets. The display was in complete disarray making it impossible to determine the prices because inventory wasn't on the correct shelves. It was a frustrating endeavor and we just gave up and walked out. Get it together Target. Your store is a wreck. read more

I have been to several Targets around New England and I have to say this one has always been the least stressful. It could be because it is in Maine, but either way, it is always a pleasant experience. Parking - Plenty of it!!! :) I come to this store when I have a list of things to buy, but I also come here when I am just browsing. There are many deals to be found, discounted or on clearance in almost all sections at all times. Especially shortly after any major holiday. The discounts are great, however, I end up spending way more than I saved. But I am ok with that. :) The store is usually neat and tidy. (except around the clearance items - chaos) There are always carts and hand baskets available as you walk in. The staff members that are stocking/straightening the shelves and working at the cash registers are always friendly and try to be helpful. The grocery section is adequate and you can fill your pantry and fridge for the week, however, if you have brand product preferences, you might struggle a bit. A lot of it is mass produced / big label brands. Very few, if any local products available. But if you are looking for one stop shopping, you can probably accomplish it here. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in a checkout line, because the staff and leadership are present and attentive. Overall, I am a huge fan and regular of this store. My only wish, is for Target to carry local products. read more

I used to love target. I am old and find it hard to self checkout. they used to have one checkout for people like me at the Thomaston store. a week ago on Friday there was none. So disappointed Target Topsham, Maine. When you only have 4 self check outs and one that is by the Starbucks that you can see from " the line" that you have to stand in. So if you go over to check you lose your spot in line. The frustrating part is that their were only 2, yes TWO registers opened! With real people managing them. The line circled way down past where the make-up is and even past the greeting cards. This is unacceptable. At least Walmart has self check outs at both ends of the store and does t pretend to keep the original registers just for good looks. Mind you I can stand shopping at Walmart for the obvious reasons but Target step it up! Either take our your 15+ registers and replace them with self check outs if your not going to man them. You wonder why people buy on line or go to Walmart well if you want to know then just pop in your store and see that line! It will be a while before I waste my time in your store again! read more

One of my favorite Target locations! I actually drive out of my way to come to this location as opposed to the South Portland one when I can in the summer since the Portland area is so saturated with tourists this time of year. This location is always clean, stocked, and has all the things I need. The customer service is prime too! This location is appropriately busy but not crazy, so I feel I can really take my time and enjoy myself inside instead of trying to avoid the mobs of tourists. There is also a ton of parking. Overall 5/5 stars! read more

This store looked as if it had been broken into in the middle of the night and ransacked, i.e., clothes strewn everywhere but the racks where they are supposed to be. Out of the few locations in Maine, I would choose this one every time. This store is kept clean and stocked, there was only one time they didn't have my daughter's pull-ups in stock. The building has terrible cellphone reception, but there is free wifi which helps. read more

Reserved an item for store pickup, and received a notification that my order was ready to be picked up. Drove 2 hours to pick up item and was told that they didn't have it. Somehow, my item had been scanned into the online pickup area, but then got taken back out and sold to someone else. read more

Came in and their system was down, so they did some alternate process for my 'in store pickup' item ordered online. Long story, short. The customer service supervisor, was a young lady, I believe she wore glasses, forgot her name. but that supervisor fixed my issue in favor of me, the customer. I was really happy with the way she handled it, and it more than made up for a inconvenient situation I was put in by another Target staff due to their system being down. Do you know what I love after a day of energetic and loud children? Silence. So many stores have music playing, sometimes louder than needed. Even though I love music, when I am grocery shopping after a long day, I just want to be able to easily concentrate on my list without any distractions. They use walkie talkies to communicate throughout the store, so even the chatter of management looking for department associates are kept to a low murmur on the people in red's hip. This place is always very neat and orderly. The flow to this store differs from some of the other Targets I have been to but being from this area, I have become accustom to it and like it. There are sales associates keeping busy with stocking shelves, but will drop what they are doing to help you locate an item. The prices are always competitive and the assortment of items are pretty great. I can buy most of my grocery items and any workout gear, books, toys, or apparel that I might need. Perfect! read more

The Topsham Target store is a good store. I have always had a pleasant experience while shopping here. The store is always clean, and well stocked. Even during the construction a couple of years ago, when they added the grocery section, the store was well kept. Plenty of parking for all vehicles! There is very rarely a line at the cash register. The personnel that run the store, are happy to assist all whom need assistance. I have also always found what I have been looking for when shopping here. The Pharmacy is convenient and always a pleasure to visit. I shop Topsham Target first for all of my household needs, minus groceries! read more

I love this Target! It is always so clean and well stocked. They have plenty of staff walking about to assist with questions and enough staff in the front so you never wait too long in a line. My favorite part of this store is the pharmacy. The staff is wonderful, they go above and beyond expectations. I don't see how anyone could have a bad experience here. I go shopping there several times a week just to see what's new and see what deals I can find with Cartwheel. read more

One of my favorite stores to shop! I'm always excited to see how much money I can save! I save the maximum about by "stacking!" Stacking my savings means I can use any Target coupon, Manufacturer coupon, Cartwheel app offer, and 5% off when using my Red Card Debit card all on the same item! It's even better when that item is on sale! I LOVE that there's a well-stocked grocery department, a CVS pharmacy and a Starbucks in the store, too! One-stop-shopping at its best! I gave 4 stars & not 5 because of two minor things: sometimes the pricing on the shelf doesn't match the pricing at checkout and the Topsham Target does not carry Miracle Whip! :-) read more

Worst customer service, 2 days before Christmas! My husband I stopped at the Topsham store during the ice storm to finish our holiday shopping. We were deciding which cookware set to purchase as a gift. I opened a box, that wasn't sealed, to check the quality of the cookware when Ted took the box from me and said, "now it is damaged because you opened it and I have to take it to the backroom." My husband and I told him we wanted to buy it! He continued to take it to the backroom and told us to take the other box on the shelf. I didn't want them to mark the product damaged when it wasn't and told him I wanted to buy it. He continued to tell me I couldn't! I have never met a more rude Target employee than Ted! He refused to let us purchase the product my husband and I selected. In fact we left the store without making a purchase and drove an additional 30 miles to the Augusta store and bought the cookware set plus other items there. I hope Ted is a seasonal employee since he definitely doesn't display the quality of service Target is hoping to achieve. read more
