Yet another abysmal experience at Target, which will be my last. I bought a couple items online from the Black History Month collection, but needed to return them. I went to the returns desk and explained I bought the items online. The young lady asked if I had the Target app as I was looking for the email with the purchase info. I said no and the lady proceeds to try to scroll on my phone. I immediately was thrown off and asked her why she felt it necessary to touch my phone instead of asking me. She got an attitude and I told her someone else needed to help me or I could take my return elsewhere. The lady next to her was the manager and the lady looked over as the young girl rolled her eyes at me. I was able to get my return completed with the manager without issue, however I will not be back to Target as this is a consistent issue. Not to mention they did not have any of the Black History Month collection on the floor. Target clearly does not care about their customer service. read more

I decided to try "DRIVE UP" and here's my experience: loved the convenience of ordering in the target app. Was bummed that I ordered items and then they weren't in stock. However I was promptly notified and given alternate options to purchase those items. I was in/out with drive up in less than 2 minutes. It was wonderful. Love the bags! They are so sturdy! By paying on time and above the min. amount my score of nearly 800 has lowered due to YOUR COMPANY . Sir!! My account was closed due to inactivity, NO LETTER,EMAIL,OR TEXT to advise me .I got an email AFTER it was closed!!! Thanks for not valuing me as a loyal customer. Just because I didn't always use the RED CARD, doesn't mean I didn't buy GIFT CARDS or paid cash!! NO MORE. I'M checking my list and checking it twice, you're not NICE. Agree with the other two reviews I saw about the long lines, no self checkout, and items out of stock. There's also an older woman who works as a cashier who is really socially unaware. She speaks so sharply. I don't think she's intentionally this way but it's so rude and just not warm or inviting. I had an issue with my target wallet on the app, then tried my card and my red card wasn't working either. I said something like "oh that's so weird, the card isn't expired" and she just started spouting off that she doesn't know because she's not responsible for my card so I need to call the number on the back. just such a weird way to speak to people/customers. Every interaction I've had with her has been uncomfortable. But yeah, I hope they build another target on this side of town because this one sucks. I will say, the employees on the floor are super nice and helpful. Oh and hold your breath in the restrooms they have the strongest most disgusting smelling air fresheners. This target is a lot better since they did the updates but now they mainly only have self checkout and the lines get so long. Please put some cashiers back out at the checkout stands. Since remodeling, this place still looks trashed out. Went to the shoe section with women sitting on the floor and shoes and boxes scattered everywhere. Another incident cashier was super rude. No "hi how are you? Have a good day". Just stared at my bag as if to say "take it and get out". Another incident, they failed to give me my bag with a greeting card so had to drive all the way back to get it and couldn't even let me pick it up at the drive up spaces. Extremely poor customer service across the board. I made the unfortunate decision to grab a coffee before I shopped with my daughter. Initially there were 3 people working the Starbucks when my order was taken then 2 of the employees took breaks even though the line was long and people were waiting for drinks. Somehow my order was lost or overlooked and instead of making it right immediately, the employee with the reddish blonde hair and visor decided to proceed with other orders that were placed well after mine. At that point I said I would just like my money back and he said that was fine, but continued to make other orders rather than just handling the situation with me first. Finally I am given a slip of paper that I am told to take to customer service for a refund and after waiting another 10-15 minutes I'm told they don't handle Starbucks refunds. So back to the coffee line I go and finally am issued a refund. All of this could have been avoided if the person who screwed up in the first place had handled the situation rather than trying to be a passive aggressive jerk. Note to management- your location has a 3 star rating as it is and it doesn't look like it will get any better with the type of service your employees provide AND the 40-45 minutes it took to get the situation resolved could have been spent shopping and spending money in your store. Needless to say I won't be back any time soon either. Good luck handling the crowds for holiday shopping with the c class level of service you provide. read more

For a few years, the SOP for YSB was to go to Costco... I know, I know. What the Devil am I even talking about? Well, YSB = Yelp Spring Break = 4 days chock full of Yelp events that's happened in a different city for the last 6 years. San Antonio was 2017. Anywho, when traveling for YSB, I like to stock up on a few snacks & other things so I won't be running out all the time when I want something. I did all that shopping for this year's YSB at this Target location while on a single day road trip to Austin. It's a Target. If you've been in 1, you've pretty much been in them all. To a certain extent. & that extent, for me, was being accustomed to Targets in the SF Bay Area, where I'm from. There, the stores & parking lots can be completely jam-packed, & the stores in total disarray. It's all a matter of perspective. Perhaps customers local to this Target think those things of this store. But believe me, you ain't seen nothing. Parking & shopping here was a lot easier than I'm used to at Target. This is the most unorganized target I've ever been to, there's clothes and shoes thrown everywhere. It was alarming that during this time of resurgence of COVID-19 cases, most of the customers did not have facial coverings nor were they practicing social distancing. Hands down, the worst Target I've ever been to in this country. In all fairness, I just moved here from the mid-West so I am learning fast about how very different everything & everyone is. I finally got around to going to the Target near my new community. Within the first 5 minutes there, I noticed that there was no music of any kind playing at all. It's Christmastime and it was odd. Apparently, their idea of "shopping ambiance" is the exasperating chatter of employees over the loudspeakers (because patrons really enjoy it & walkie-talkies are too troublesome?) At first, I just figured someone forgot to turn the music on so, I asked a nearby employee about the lack of music. She told me they never play music there. I could tell she thought it was an odd question & she quickly asked me if there was anything else she could help me with. (Huh?) That was weird. Just before I asked that employee my question, I could hear a manager of some sort explaining to an employee (very, VERY loudly) how she wanted a display area next to the registers to look. It was almost as if she wanted anyone in a hundred foot radius to hear her as well. I was probably there for about an hour and a half, or maybe two in total. The place was just messy, unorganized, & many items didn't even have prices labeled or have shelf tags at all! Not good on a Friday in the retail world. Luckily, I was able to find a Prlce-Checker machine in the middle of the store. There were very few options for organic food and I didn't even see a single item in produce that was organic. It was pitiful. At the end of my visit, I heard an announcement that the store was going to be closing in five minutes. A FIVE minute courtesy announcement?!? Are you kidding me here?!? I mean, most places give will give at least a 15 minute heads-up. As I went to the checkout counters, I was greeted with the ends of the very long lines that other reviewers had mentioned. They had three lanes open... on a Friday night... the weekend before Christmas. Just wow. I have to absolutely agree with another reviewer that it would be best to just drive a little farther, if necessary, to go to a better or higher quality store elsewhere. I just moved here into a great neighborhood a couple of months ago and I'm quickly learning that Converse & its surrounding area is growing at a pace that leaders clearly have no idea how to handle & it's disturbing to me that we can't have anything nice here. I either have to add to the ridiculous traffic problem by driving too far away for things I need, or continue to survive on the bandwagon of e-commerce. read more

Should not need to chase an employee down twice to make a purchase. He walked pass us when we were in the electronics area where many things one purchases are locked up and did not so much as acknowledge us despite us looking at locked cases. He preceded to head into the back of the store where he could not be found. After being forced to help us because another employee radioed for him multiple times he retrieved the item and said he needed to hold it at the counter. We looked at one more thing briefly but when ready to purchase he had ran back to the rear of the store. After waiting a bit thinking he would be long and seeing now other employers near by we left without the purchase. If you're that anti social you're in the wrong business and certainly not upholding the standards I know Target attempts to keep. read more

The MESSIEST Target I have ever been to! You can barely find anything you like in your size because there is ZERO organization.

This location is by far the worst of the worst! I will never go to this location again. The people that work here are so fkn rude!!! This hasn't been the only bad experience either! As I was venting to 3 of my sisters, they all went over their bad experiences with this location only. Today, we went so my sister could return some shoes that were never worn. The customer service lady told her she wouldn't return bc they were worn, my sister explained that they were never worn or used. She only tried them on at home and realized she didn't like them. Tried on in a home with carpet.. the shoes had no damage or sign of use. The lady kept trying to argue with my sister and talking to her in a disrespectful manner. Finally a lady behind her said 'just return them' and this lady said 'We'll do it his time, next time don't wear them'. Again... these shoes were NEVER WORN! The tone of voice this lady had and the attitude was so unnecessary! As a customer, You get upset about something. as simple as a swift return bc people don't know how to hold a decent conversation or do their job in a courteous manner! Another bad experience we had! I earned the reward 'Gift Card' with the store promotions. At other locations, I am able to use my gift card the same day just on a different transaction. This location... a whole different ball game! They tell you it's policy and that you can look it up online. Again, THIS SPECIFIC TARGET.. tells you vs educating you. 'Go look at the policy and you'll understand, we don't have a printed policy for all our customers'. I have given up on this location and along with my sisters. I can only imagine how many people have experienced the rude behavior coming from this location and just don't voice their complaints. read more

Don't even attempt to go on a weekend because, just like another reviewer said, you will be run down by angry, yelling soccer moms. It can get pretty hectic and messy in there sometimes too. The layout is also very weird, everything is too spread out. The customer service is great as it always is with Target. It's Target, and I love Target, and this IS what I consider to be my home-base Target based on location, but it's also one of my least favorite. The reason? Service. I don't know if it's this store in particular, or if I've been blessed by having great customer service in prior locations that I've frequented, but it just doesn't cut the mustard here. I've had multiple visits with difficulty using store coupons or Cartwheel, or issues with in-store gift card offers. Or at one point, I'm pretty sure a manager invented an exclusion on a coupon because they couldn't figure out why it wasn't ringing up. But these are all Target-specific things! It's not like I'm using some weird manufacturer's coupon or something. These are all things posted directly in the store, or their own app. I can't say I've ever run into this much trouble at a Target trying to save a buck or two. Usually, they're quite good at it, but not so much here. And one more thing: bagging. I bring my own bags, and I don't quite understand it, but the cashiers here have so much trouble with them. One item goes in... and then onto the next bag. My bread hasn't been misbehaving, so I don't really think it needs a time-out from the rest of my items, guys. That being said, the Target is pretty clean, and I haven't had a lot of trouble with items being out of stock, so it's not all bad, but the service is not bueno. read more

For an average size Target, I would like to give this one 5 stars because it just expanded to include a mini grocer/ produce section - with things such as fresh fruits like bananas, apples, nectarines pineapples, now carries breads like white dinner rolls, donuts, cookies, Hawaiian bread, cupcakes, muffins, tortillas. Then there's ground meats, frozen chicken lots of yogurts like Chobani, Yoplait, soem fancy one I've never heard of called Noosa and Activia. They now have veggies like cucumbers, bell peppers, mushrooms, lettuce, limes, lemons, baby carrots, broccoli, sugar snap peas, fresh green beans. I also see tofu, fresh salsa, fresh salad dressings. There's even a whole small chicken in the cold section... Turkey burger patties, sausages. They even added rows of frozen foods, i also see a HUGE expanded section or cheeses. Geez. Even Mexican cheese like Panela! I love it! You really just have to come check it out. It isn't a Super Target, but it's beginning to feel like one. I am happy with the changes!!! read more
