Five stars are due to standard service for those who do it for show and not for humanitarian reasons. I can tell you firsthand that Heavenly & Brittany B are two of the sweetest employees I've been serviced by at my local Target. I didn't take time away from prepping for finals to only compliment their pure service but also to add emphasis on how they both go above and beyond for every customer they service. If you could see a lightbulb go off when someone conjures up a genius alternative to an issue when met with a delay I'd see it when Brittany B or Heavenly are the ones who service me. They always volunteer to go the extra mile to accommodate their customers. They give management type of service. Target is lucky to have them. And if you are a business owner reading this and looking for dedicated people who don't give general customer service but an all-star type of service (genuine too!), back off even if these ladies are it! Target is probably prepping to rush in and offer a better pay rate and a better schedule so they can focus on college/university. I wish them to move up, and I wish them to receive funding from Target for college education. As unusual as genuine care may be nowadays, you'll forget about the poor experiences from the past because you'll be met with phenomenal service from Brittany B and Heavenly. It's adorable to come across employees who make you feel like you're the most important customer and remember who you are. Except for them to make you feel right at home. Kudos to these two they deserve all the stars in a clear night sky. read more

I love that this target is open later than most other target locations. Since it is conveniently located near campus and near Walmart and other plazas in the Moreno Valley area, I often find myself coming here after my workouts to grab a few things. Like your other target stores, the staff here are super friendly and helpful. I love that they have a pharmacy here too so I can pick up my prescriptions here instead of on the UCR campus. I only wish they had an eye care center so I could get opticals here but I guess that's why they have that super target a few miles past this one. read more

A pretty good Target overall. Parking lot gets crowded and busy during Christmas (duh right?) but lots of folks like this Target a lot. Here's why: The isles are always wide a clear, the areas are clean, the merchanise is organized, the prices are cheap, the crew is helpful, and the lines are small and usually pretty quick. Some issues are: No clothes for bigger or older men (only young thin hentai hipsters with 26" waists and Bieber hair), and clothes unpriced/unmarked or difficult to determine how much it is (or with prices so small or hid within tag data). And fluxuating sizes of popcorn and soda cups--a small one day is another day's medium. I recently bought a small $1.29 soda and was given a sample size Dixie cup! What?!! refill.. refill.. refill.. refill.. refill.. refill.. refill.. The RETURNS department people are sooooo cool--what a suprise! I always have a good experience at this Target. It's clean and, under non-plandemic times, well-stocked. Any employee I come across is nice and helpful, especially the woman who I always see at the self checkout. The service at the Starbucks is a little slow. read more

I keep trying to go shop here but every time they are out of half the stuff I want. Shelves are empty, people are rude and no help. I left my personalize mug filled with coffee by the self check out and when I realized when I got home that I had left it I started calling to see if it had been turned in. Unfortunately no one answered and I called more than once. I just don't understand how a show can take such a turn for the worst after a remodel. Very sad. read more

I used to work in this shopping center and go there daily for snacks etc. I have noticed ever since then if loss Prevention see you In the store a lot they will start to follow you. I wouldn't call it racial profiling but they have made it very uncomfortable for most people I seen them following people for no apparent reason just based on Suspicion with no facts to back it. read more

This review is mainly for the STARBUCKS inside target that is brand new. So bad.... Starbucks inside targets normally aren't that great, the drinks are never made to taste very well, but I figured I'd try this new one. Same as always... dirty, girl was emptying trash while guy was doing all of the work. Gentleman that helped me was very nice, but my drink tasted horrible, couldn't even finish it. I absolutely love target! This Target is remodeled it's nice and big!! Especially when I walk down the clearance aisle there are good deals plus love cartwheel and especially when they have a cartwheel for Starbucks! I also love ordering and you can just drive up and a team member comes to your car to bring your items!! Super easy!!! If I can give this target a ZERO I would. I lasted 10 min gave me a headache of how disgusting it was! this store is a complete damn MESS who runs this store They should be ashamed! Store looks as if a tornado hit all the clothing racks and shoes everything is all on the floor nothing is organized... need a size for a certain dress? Forget about it you'll spend a year looking for it in the pile of clothes that are scattered everywhere!! Let's not bring up the employees apparently they don't even know how to do there own job and maybe learn customer service! Since I am sitting in the parking lot waiting for my internet order to be picked let me share with you a horrible customer shopping experience over $4. I needed 3 packs of 9 foot extension cords so I find them on the website for $5.19. I think about doing an online order with pickup but I am in a hurry so I figure I will just chance it and go buy them in person. Upon arriving to the store I find they are $7.29. I double check the upc. Yep the same. I cringe because I already know that the clerk at the register will not be able to override the price even though it is their own website. What a hassle over $6. I ask at the register anyway and nope go to customer service. I get to customer service and the sole rep working is putting the new ad into the display. Probably should have been done before open but nope. He then proceeds to tell me he is going to be a few minutes and that I should go shopping if I need anything else. I tell him I just need a price match to their website. After about 3-4 minutes of me watching him put the ad up he gets down and comes behind the register. He then informs me that he can only price match one item. I say and I quote "So let me get this straight. If I order online and select in store pickup I get the 3 items for $5.19, but if I come into store first I can only get one?" His response is "Yes". I then tell him to return the three items and he watches me place an online order for pickup. It has now been 1.5 hours and no ready for pickup email. All this stupid BS over $4. So why would Target not empower their employees to show empathy and take care of the customer the first time. I have been a retail store manager for big box and small box for the last 17 years and it would make me very angry to have a customer experience go down like that over something so stupid as $4. Click on my profile. I don't need your $4 and in fact all the time you wasted has FAR exceeded the hassle but this is not a matter of principal. I already filed a negative survey, I plan on asking for the general manager when my order is ready for pickup, and I am going to be filing negative yelp and google reviews. All over $4. Do not buy groceries from here!!! They do not check expiration dates and keep bad moldy stuff on the shelf. At first we bought pizza rolls we ate some and the next day we had upset stomach check the pizza rolls and they were 2 months expired. Thought it was a one time thing didn't think anything of it. But last week we went picked up some bagels and some fresh tortellini we placed the tortellini in freezer. The next day after we bought them we went to eat the bagels and they were already moldy. Today I went to make the tortellini and it had mold! This is disgusting and wasting our money! This store really needs to keep up with expiration dates. read more

Some team members are happy to help you but some just hate their lives. Most of them don't really know what the policies are in terms of returns and exchanges. Their products after the remodel is super understocked and unorganized. You would think it would be the other way around. It's not, half the items are gone and the shelves are empty. And if you want to see the pharmacist forget it, go to a different location because the lady pharmacist there is rude as hell. Don't ask anything because she'll give you the run around. You're either going to come to Target or not, but this stir in particular has some of the worst customer service of any Target I've been to in some time! The thing that stands out the most is the rude behavior of their cashiers. I will admit it is a pet peeve of mine, but the absolute least a checker should do is welcome you and say "thank you" or "have a nice day". Not Trinity today, she did not say a single word to include the total. She then seemed beyond annoyed when her register wasn't complying, as if that's my fault. Watch your items as they are rung up. The price on the shelf is not always correct...and you're the one being over charged or waste your time in line to return the item or get the refund difference in price. Today the staff don't seem like they feel lile working or paying any attention. read more

Checked the inventory on the target app, purchased an item and went to the store to pick up. Online order employee couldn't figure out where my item was, asked me to go look on the shelf which defeated the purpose of ordering online. The shelf was empty and then a picking employee told me the website is almost always wrong when it comes to inventory so that was useful to know. I was then told by the online ordering employee that another store 20 mins away had SEVEN in stock and sent me to another store which when I arrived at the other store I was told again not to trust the online inventory. CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE!!! Specifically Selina in Customer Service. This review deals with my process in filing a complaint with the company. I came in to do a return on some dishwasher soap which left a film residue on my dishes, however I was informed by Selina that because it was used, and it was past the return date, that I could not return it or get store credit. I figured this was the store policy, and I had no problems with that. Policy is policy, no biggie. Since I wasn't going to use the soap, I asked Selina if she could throw it away for me, however she insisted that I throw it away outside, informing me that there are several trash cans in the front of the store outside, and that it shouldn't be hard for me to locate them. Perhaps she saw the surprised look on my face, because she further told me that it would be easier for her if I throw it away outside. (I was unaware that customers needed to make it EASIER for customer service employees to do their job). This is most alarming to me because I worked Customer Service for a few years, and the fact that I had to go outside, find a trashcan, then come back inside to do my shopping, is outrageous!! I later found out from the manager that there are procedures in place to dispose of returned items. I guess it was just an inconvenience for Selina. I called the store once I got home, speaking to the Manager "Tonbara" informing her of what transpired between Selina and I. After being very courteous, respectful, and professional towards me, Tonbara informed me the best course of action to take would be to call Guest Relations at 1-800-303-0308. I made an official complaint through Guest Relations, and asked for the mailing address to personally write my horrible customer service that I had experienced. I filed an official complaint through Guest Relations and they told me they documented it in their systems. I plan on sending a letter as well. Hopefully through my actions, the company will appreciate the gravity of the situation, and the disrespect I had to receive! The Target stores must not restock anything during the day. If you go later in the day or evening the shelves are half empty. Most of the popular products are out of stock. The check out counters never have enough help. It seems the revenue lost from missed sales would cover the cost of restocking the shelves and staffing the check out. read more

This particular location seems a bit newer looking than the Arlington Street location (I may be wrong), but my main gripe with this Target is that their men's wear section is severely lacking. Last time I came here hoping to maybe pick up a few new shirts or whatever - naw. Nothing good. Everything was neat and all, but the selection was extremely limited. An extra plus I will give to this location is that there's a young black girl who works the register and she's extremely friendly. Always has a huge warm smile. :D read more

This is my regular Target. And really, who doesn't love Tar-jay? This one is located in the Canyon Springs Shopping Center, which is the edge of Riverside and Moreno Valley. First, they just fully upgraded the grocery section. Love it! Great prices on most pantry and freezer items, with meat and fruit prices a little high. The layout of this place is great -- part and parcel for most Targets -- as well as clean and very well-stocked. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable (whenever I don't know where something is, they can give me the aisle number off the top of their heads). I'm a fan and I'll keep going back! read more

On today's particular visit, I notice there was some makeup lady in the cosmetics section. Not sure what she was there for, but I go 2 aisles over to the aisle with the Covergirl cosmetics to look for a foundation. Im having the hardest time trying to figure out which foundation is right, since there are never samplers to try on at a store like Target.. you have to go to a dept. store or Sephora and get the pricey stuff. I guess she noticed, because several minutes later she comes up and asks me if I'm trying to pick out a foundation, and offers to help me find one. So she takes me back to that first aisle she was in and gives me her shpeel about this line of makeup they have, and puts some on me... and WoW. Its the perfect shade for my skin tone! Thanks to Trudy (i like reading nametags) I wont go around looking like I have a mask on when I wear makeup.. with my face being lighter than the rest of my body due to the wrong foundation. I frequent this target's location alot. For some reason they are always helpful and I can find things alot easier. The super Target is the same distance from my house but I seem to like this one better. The staff are pretty chill and if you ask for help they'll help you. But if you are just shopping around they pretty much leave me alone.... WHICH I LOVE. My only downfall about going here is their dollar section is in my direct view when I walk in and I'm a SUCKER for stupid cheap stuff. i'm such a taar-geehaaaay fan. read more

Two days before Christmas, 10 pm, only 4/13 registers open, three self checkout. A line fifty people deep and two kids directing people to open registers instead of opening two more registers. On top of that the store was totally trashed, not just the toy section, the ENTIRE store. Management definitely dropping the ball with staffing. Definitely expected it to be crowded and busy, guess they didn't and that's just a bit ridiculous. read more

I came here to buy body wash but there weren't any on the shelves. So I went to seek for help and I found an employee...but he said he hasn't clocked in yet and he can't help me. However, he told me to call the telecom on the aisle but I just went to look for another employee for help instead. The second worker was more attentive and she checked on her machine that the body wash is out of stock. But good thing is that I asked if they have the body wash at another location that's closer to my house and she said yes! read more

Super annoyed looked online trying to find hylands gas drops for my 2nth old, saw that this target had them in stock. Just to make sure I called the store to check for them. The employee I spoke with said yes they had them and she would hold them for me at the fitting rooms, my husband went to go get them and no one could figure out what was going on. This has by far got to be one of the better Target's I've been to. The location is nice as it is close to other major stores as well as Tyler Mall. It's right off the freeway and easy to see. What has me going about this location was the service/cordiality at checkout. I came with some friends to pick up some candy and when checking out, our attendant was very nice and surprisingly very insightful about candy and offered suggestions of candy she liked and for what reasons. Small things like that made me smile knowing Target hires people who care and don't mind making small talk. read more

Would not answer phone in electronics untill the third try. Said they had the TV I saw on liine, in the back of the store. She said I would have to come in to buy it. I asked if they could hold it for me. The clerk said after asking her supervisor they did not have it, even though it showed they did on their web site. Bait and Switch? NEVER COME HERE! There is a reason why I NEVER come here. I was needing to pick up a few items and normally I drive all the way to Riverside to avoid this location. I decided to give it a try and I got my items. I was waiting in line and had to get moved three different times and finally got to Destiny's line. She was not only unfriendly she made me and my daughter uncomfortable and rushed. She told the gentleman behind me, who stood in line the same amount of time as me, to move lines because she needs to go home. The man was super confused and was unsure why he has to move when he was waiting the same amount of time as us. We told her that and she said "fine, I can help him. I need to clock out and go home." Not only was she extremely rude, the "manager" Michael was as well. He came up to tell her to clock out and he asked if we had any questions because we were explaining to Destiny that he shouldn't have to move lines. We said no, we would like to talk to a store manager over the phone. With a snarky response he said "mhm okay. sounds great!" He and destiny covered their name tags up so we had to ask them twice what their names were. I will never ever come back and I will be contacting a higher superior. I would rather driver farther and out of the way to get half decent service in Riverside. Never again. read more
