I *knew* there was a reason I moved so close to Renton. This Target is way better than the Northgate Target and the Southcenter Target. The layout makes sense, the floor is clean, and the shelves are well-stocked. The employees are also nice and the parking lot is easily navigated, which makes up for driving douchery and wailing children (which you'll find at any Target). What I love the most? The clothing sections are a) well-stocked, and b) have both my and my boyfriend's sizes. (The punk-ass Northgate store only has women's extra smalls and men's "you're a 2x so you must be REALLY REALLY FAT and not tall at all" clothing.) PS: I'm currently wearing an attractive cable-knit sweater that I got for $9 last night...from Target. Damn skippy. read more

This Target is feeling more and more like a Walmart. I went today and there were so many restocking carts in the aisles that I couldn't even get down a few of them. Why isn't restocking done when the store is closed? Frustrating experience and it's getting worse. Also, there seems to be more employees getting in your way than customers. BULLSEYE! This store is absolutely one, if not, my favorite place to shop at. Whether I just want to walk around and not buy anything (most of the time I would walk out with something even if I have no purpose of going to Target haha) or actually have something to buy, I always enjoy going to Target. This location is not bad either. It's placed amongst all these other great stores at the Landing and it's pretty much walking distance wherever you park around that area. Love the addition of self-checkouts because I usually prefer self-checkouts when I'm in a hurry or just in general. I'm not the most patient person when it comes to waiting in line at the checkout, especially when there's a lot of people. But I would definitely wait for the self-checkouts whenever there's an option like that in a store. I usually know where to find the things I need here since I go here a lot and most Target stores look about the same as other ones. The Cartwheel isn't half bad either. I've had it for a while now but I must say that I haven't really used it at all to get discounts because they don't really have the things there that I'm buying whenever I go on a Target run. I don't want to just buy random things just to use the app, uh uh! But one of these days I'm pretty sure I can find a coupon there for something that I need to buy because they have good deals on that app. read more

I've been dealing with the fall out for four months now and it's been headache after headache. This store in particular never has enough cashiers. This Target location is such an embarassment to the surrounding community. The entire perimeter of this location is overgrown with vegetation, significant amounts of garbage, debris, bags of dog feces, human feces, broken glass, etc. I have seen rats running around the outside of this building, which could be due to the poor conditions the landscaping is kept in. I can understand that it is difficult to maintain the output of laziness from the people who are creating this mess, but doing nothing about it is unacceptable. Hi! My name is Genesis and I am a Target addict. Lol! My husband calls Target our second home because it's our go-to store for everything - household items, supplies, clothes, hygene products .. you name it. I'll find reasons just to go to Target because I feel like wandering the aisles and seeing what new products they have in stock! ;) There are numerous things I enjoy about Target, but some there are a few reasons that sets Target apart from the competition for me. It's CLEAN, the employees are friendly and speak english - major plus in this day and age! - and the prices are reasonable. Did I mention it's clean? With stores like Walmart, Ross and other less expensive stores, you can barely push a cart further than an inch without snagging it on a hanger or merchandise that has been thrown on the floor. Either that or you're playing frogger with the hundred other people trying to get their budget shopping on. Trust me, I've had to mow down a few hostile patrons who decided to stand in the middle of a busy aisle, yikes! Another thing I enjoy about Target is how they've incorporated well known designers in their product lines, which has added nicer merchandise for a fraction of the cost that other retailers sell it for. We bought a small end table at Target for $30 and found the exact same ones at Pier Imports & World Market going for $85 & $115! That differential is crazy. Whether it's housewares or something as simple as a new planner, they have cute designs that I am willing to spend the money on. The only "con" I would give this specific Target in the Landing is that it closes at 10 while the one in Tukwila across from the mall is open until 11. That extra hour makes all the difference when my husband and I have a late night craving for ice cream and a movie - both of which we can purchase here! - or we have a last minute gift to pick up for a party the next morning. This our favorite target to go to. Since this place opened up, we no longer trek down to the one near southcenter. Target at the landing is always clean, easy to navigate and friendly. Since they have expanded their store and began to sell produce and more frozen items it became even more pleasant to go to. We were able to find the little one a tricycle that has a bar handle for the adult to help turn the wheels. Something we have been searching for and found it at target! Pricing is decent and appearals are darling for all ages. Im glad I dont go there by myself because I will do some damage. It's a target. It's newer meaning shiny and hasn't been bashed on yet by crowds and crowds of shoppers. It's typically not too busy and it's fairly large. The customer service here seems to be pretty good also. They sell box wine and the smaller boxes have 4 small juice box looking things. I love me some Target! I find myself always coming out with 10x more than what I intended to buy. But that's the beauty of such an amazing store, like Target, haha. I like this location. However, the few things I'll point out: -There needs to be some serious toilet seat covers. You cannot have a nice bathroom and up to date technology if you do not have seat covers. It just doesn't make sense to have a bathroom without these beautifully created covers. -Sometimes, you won't find the same thing at this location as the other locations. Even at times, I oddly find things here that I won't see elsewhere. So be aware because the locations differ--although more and more, they try to have everything there so there's not that big of a difference. Otherwise, they have a dandy starbucks for all you coffee lovers! Their parking lot to me, is oddly shaped, but is big. And it neighbors great shopping centers and restaurants! So enjoy walking distance shopping, eating, movies, etc. read more

I LOVE Target! This location is new and fresh, so the store is clean and well laid out. They seem to do a better job at keeping the shelved stocked then Target in Southcenter. I find myself going to this location more and more. Also it is very easy to get to right off 405. The location in the Renton Landing makes it very fun because there are so many fun stores and restaurants to check out. read more

I truly come here a few nights a week. I enjoy their extended hours (they close at 11) and it's a convenient spot for me to grocery or clothes shop after work. I love Target, I really do. I love their return policy, I love that I get 5% off everyday with a Target debit card, and I love their large selection. I do not love how messy the store can be sometimes (I've seen it as bad as Ross!), how hard it can be to find an employee to even ask a question, and how crowded it can be. That's why I like to do my shopping after 10 pm- it's less crowded. Though the other night they had shut the dressing room down, which I've NEVER seem them do at 10 pm, and it made me really annoyed. I wanted to try a dress on. That being said, I love that this Target offers such a huge selection. Their grocery department is large and well-priced. They even stock specialty hippie foods that I love- Gardein, Amy's Kitchen, Lightlife vegetarian lunchmeat, Kashi. In fact, they have more "natural" and "organic" foods than my local small Safeway does! And the prices are better at Target too. Huge selection, late hours, good prices, yeah that's why I always come here. read more

I could live I this store! I not only love this store fore being....TARGET, but its never a hot mess! Talk about organized. when walking down an aisle looking for an item I know that item is there! there is no hit and miss! I also love how friendly and accessible the staff is. This is probably the most important store to have at the landing, as it's basically the only store within the area. The workers here seem to be helpful and friendly, this location is not ghetto like the Tukwila / South Center one. They typically will always have what you are looking for in stock, the Cartwheel app is pretty cool as well. They have a Starbucks inside this location for all you coffee lovers, though it's not well organized and seems more like Target employees playing barista. Great store, I always return! read more

A brand NEW Target in my backyard - try to keep me away! They opened on the 14th and I wanted to give it a few days to let the frenzy cool down. The store still has a "new store smell"! The store is much larger than the Tukwila, Westwood Village, or Factoria stores. It seems to have a larger selection and is just plain laid out better than any of the others in the area. They are offering lots of "new store specials" which is fun! In particular - the food section seems to have a much larger selection and offers almost everything that you'd find in a grocery store other than meat/seafood and fresh produce. The Renton Target has a much expanded frozen food section and a decent dairy section - with lots of milk and cheese. Employees seemed friendly (of course they've only been working for two days... so time will tell). I really liked the layout of the store and felt like things were laid out well for the consumer. read more

There were so many people who were just standing around with no care that they were blocking entire aisles and unwilling to move. Pretty good Target, really. As cute as the two-levels are at the Seattle Target, it gets annoying. This is just a regular, all-on-the-same-level Target. Because WalMart is depressing, and some people still do not understand the value of a Costco membership, Target is a good store to get everything you need, with the exception of groceries. This location does have a limited grocery selection, so if you are looking to make a pizza rather than purchase a frozen one, you'll have to stop somewhere else on the way home. I'm excited about this new Target for two reasons: first, I like Target in general (although I don't shop there often, maybe 6 to 8 times a year), and a brand new Target is even better. Second, it's much closer to my house than the one in Tukwila, which means I'm shaving off 20 min of drive time now when I need to go to a Target store. Maybe I'm used the the layout of other two Target stores I've been to (Northgate and Tukwila), but I seem to be unable to find my way in this Target. The last two times I was there I couldn't find the check-out counter, so I wandered around in the store like a homeless person pushing a shopping cart for about 15 min before I found the check-out counter. Maybe I should buy a GPS from their electronics department next time, if I could find it. read more

I live right by here so I usually end up shopping at this Target. When it first opened, this store was amazing - huge, clean, and filled with all sorts of awesome. But lately, not so much. It is true, they usually have most of their items in stock and for the most part, it is clean. This store closes earlier than the southcenter location, which I don't understand why. Yes, I like to shop late at night to avoid parking, huge crowds, etc. There isn't anything distinctively wrong with this particular store, it's directed at Target. It's very same old, same old and they don't have much products in their store. I think it would be awesome if they added more variety in their grocery isle (if this store was more like the northgate store). Sorry, Target. It's just not the same anymore. I love the Target, it's pretty awesome, but the Starbucks not so much. They resteam milk that's been sitting in the pitchers. Which is a big no no. Resteaming milks leaves it with a burnt taste. Sadly, I am forced to write a less than positive review. My doctor called in an Rx to Target @ the landing on Friday. On Sunday I went in to pay for it. After much searching they found my Rx in a pile. Since I had not purchased drugs for myself, they had just set it aside. I then filled out the information form (with questions about what kind of pets I have!), and I was then told that they could now fill the prescription and because it was Sunday, it would be 1/2 hour. I drove out of my way to go there and have come to expect better service than this; I'm disappointed. read more

How is it that I have never reviewed this Target yet I am down there at least once a week?! I love Target. This is a newer location and it is awesome. Always pretty clean and organized. I always see a ton of people working the floor and cleaning up. This is nice. I mean you can't help people that come in and throw crap around. That is most people for ya. Now with that being said, I never have to call to any store and complain. Friday changed that. The cashier that I had didn't say one word to me the entire transaction. She then threw my glass candle into the bag. I just looked at her. Who does that?! She then sarcastically told me to have a nice day. I called when I got back to work and spoke with the manager who was very apologetic and had actually gotten two other complaints that hour. She took the girl off her register and I am betting that she doesn't have a job today. It's really not that hard to be nice to people and not throw their stuff. Management handled it well. read more

BEWARE of the CVS pharmacy inside Target. My medication was not dispensed accurately as written on my prescription. I pleaded with a pharmacy tech to double check the script. He got really defensive and stated it was correctly dispensed as written. The next day after the holiday, I called my doctor's office and they told me the script was written correctly but the pharmacy did NOT dispense it correctly. I called the pharmacy to point out this ERROR, however the pharmacy tech and pharmacist were both defensive on the phone stating it was not an ERROR. Last I checked in the United States, you cannot give a medication that requires a prescription written by a valid prescriber to a person without a valid script. Neither can you dispense a medication using an old or expired script. When I pointed this out, the pharmacist got really defensive and stated it was not an error. It gave me the impression that he was not too concerned about the licensing board. Please be careful and double check your medications before leaving the store, as this pharmacy gives the impression that it does not take patient safety or medication errors seriously. read more

Wow what the hell happened to this place??? I came here last week to pick up cold medicine and the entire store was a disastrous MESS On tip of that I caught some young teenagers in the baby isle picking up baby car seats and throwing them down and laughing and swearing, then they went to the baby food section and were grabbing stuff off the shelf's, i looked around for an employee and couldn't find a single one wth!!!??? So i went to the electronics section and still no one was there so O waited longer and finally found an employee and asked him to call security, it literally took 10 min before someone came and luckily I had closely followed the teens and stopped the security guy who by the the ay was with a friend talking and walking slower than my 2 war old and showed him who the kids were which by then they had split up. Seriously if you guys are worried about people stealing maybe you should have more employees on the floor and the response time of the security much fast. Ps this review does NOT include Mrs Mary we adore her and she's probably the only reason I didn't give you one star read more

I love this Target. Every store employee I've ever had an encounter with was friendly, polite, and helpful. I even have a favorite cashier, Stephen. The store is always clean and stocked well. They even have good quality produce selections. The only minus in my opinion is they're overall inventory. I would love to be able to only shop here but they don't carry alot of things I find myself looking for. I wouldn't go anywhere else if they had a bigger inventory of food and baby items. Like any other Target...the "cool" factor is every once in a while you'll see a Seahawk player at the store in "normal" mode. I do like this one better than the one in Factoria because of the parking but the Factoria one you can at least walk the mall indoors and there are kid friendly places. read more

If you're going to any Target in the King County Seattle and surrounding area, this is the one. It's full of light, clean, and the people are helpful. It's all in the little things. Helen who works up front is a dream . The carts turned facing into the store makes all the difference and makes for no back up at the doors. The card department is always clean and easy to maneuver, the food department is always clean. The only downside unfortunately is the restrooms need some serious repair however they're cleaner than any other Target nearby. read more
