Man, this Target is so nice, so clean, so well stocked, has a Starbucks and good prices. What more can a person ask for? I go here nearly every week to do my groceries and it has always been smooth sailing. The parking is never an issue and not a crazy madhouse that is as ghetto as the Renton Walmart downtown. For a while, they printed out a $1 savings coupon for their Pizza Hut and Starbucks when you shopped there and that was really a big hit for me (both the idea and the pocketbook). Customer service is good also. One thing that it lacks and maybe they should consider is adding a produce section. read more

Why does every employee at this target look they don't want to be there. All the cashiers are literally just standing there or talking to each other instead of checking people out. I was going to pay for my things.... already had them on the belt and the cashier just walked away and told me to go to another one that was open. Mind you there was no sign that said she was closed neither was her light off and why wait until I put my things on the belt to tell me to go to a different one. Then I go to the other cashier and he doesn't even greet me and took him a while to start scanning my things. When he was done he didn't even tell me my total. Do they now just expect us to look at the screens for our total? Do you want me to bag my own things as well? Do you want me to give myself the change as well? Jesus Christ! As a Canadian I always love coming down to the US and shopping at Target. Such a great selection of products and clothing for a great price, much of which we lack in our department stores in Canada. There is usually a substantial savings when buying beauty products at Target and often you will pay 50% less than you would in Canada for the same item. This location is great. It is a newer store which is clean, organized and not cluttered by mess. I can literally spend hours looking at all of the products and clothing that is not sold in Canada. read more

I was recently in this Target looking for something in the Electronics section. After wandering around probably looking super lost I was approached by one of the Target techs (Black Shirt Guys) and two Target Tech underlings offering assistance. When I asked if they had a product he rolled his eyes and scoffed; "I got three of those in and they sold out in like five minutes, I'll get three in tomorrow and you're like the 21st person to ask, ya ain't gettin' one go somewhere else" Sounds like a plan Nathan the Target Tech I'm going someplace else, from now on. I normally like to support the brick and mortar places, it's an instant gratification thing, but Amazon has the same products with much less snark so I'll just be getting my electronics from them or possibly Best Buy. read more

Now that I have a little munchkin of my own I find that I'm always at this Target for supplies. It's large, well-stocked and clean. Love their sale stuff, especially the baby clothes. It's nice that they have groceries too because my baby brain hasn't quite gone away yet and I'm always needing something for dinner. Parking lot is large and they keep it free of stray carts. Also the lines seem to go pretty fast so the wait isn't very long at all. Needs toilet seat covers in the restrooms. Just sayin'.... read more

Horrible store experience! We asked if they had any more of the product purchase in stock they stated yes! But it's a 15min wait. We can pick up and the person at guest service can hand it to us! We asked someone for help and she directed us to stand in line to pick up something we already waited 20 min for! She had enough time to just walk a couple feet and hand it over and she decided not to assist! She was in charge of telling ppl to go on break. Sorry poor customer service don't know why she would even be a manager or even someone who would take the reigns on something if she couldn't even offer assistance. We only came in for that one product but just randomly did unnecessary shopping. We than had to wait while ppl were returning things which is always a wait just for something to be handed to us. Target... perhaps the only store in the world where you can walk in not looking for a thing and walk out with a cart full of stuff you never knew you needed. or you walk in looking for chapstick and you walk out with two bottles of wine, a blender, and a new TV. always tons of staff walking around ready to help. never too long of a line at the check out stand. plenty of items in stock. easy to read prices, well organized isles and merchandise. you can find anything and everything from clothes, to medicine, make up, wine, chips, (now) food, electronics, sporting goods, and all the seasonal items in between. there's a pizza hut and a starbucks just in case you spend too much time there and realize you're hungry and getting tired. prices are always fair - and perhaps the only clothing store a girl can walk into with $40 and walk out with a new set up make up and an outfit. more so dangerous that its right across the parking lot from my apartments. hooray on the extended hours now open til 11pm! read more

I just went to Target at the Renton, Washington location to return an item I bought there yesterday morning. I had my gym bag (my gym is in same shopping center) and my Target bag. I put them both in the cart and proceeded to Customer Service to return my item. The woman working was across the way and said she would be right over. I said that's OK I need to go pick something up anyways and proceeded to head to the skincare department. I had only been in the store for two minutes when another woman (Elizabeth) came up behind me, took my cart, and said if I had a cart with items in it, she needed to take it to the front. I was confused. I come in here with my gym bag all the time and they've never taken my cart. In fact, I walked around the store for an hour yesterday with my gym bag in my cart and was not bothered. She proceeded to take my cart with my gym bag containing my purse; wallet, cell phone, keys etc. and proceeded to head back to the Customer Service area. I found the item I wanted to purchase and headed back to the customer service area. I was appalled when I got in view of her and, without my consent or even notifying me, she was going through my things! I went up grabbed my cart from her and asked for a manager. She said, very rudely, that she was the manager. I asked her why she thought I might be stealing items. She said nobody said that you were stealing. I asked her if she didn't think I was stealing, then why would she be seizing and going through my things without my consent? She had a rude response. Since I was getting nowhere with her, I proceeded to exchange my item and purchase my new item. Even the woman working at the customer service desk apologized for her manager's behavior. I left, feeling violated and upset. I shop at Target frequently, but I feel like taking my business elsewhere if this is the standard by which Target treats their customers. Is it normal protocol for managers or employees to take someone's personal belongings and go through them without the customer's consent, or without any other employees around? Loss prevention was not contacted. No security personnel were around. It was simply the Target manager by herself going through my things without my permission. read more

Dirty!! Went to use the restroom, 2 out of 4 stalls were out of paper while the rest were covered in human waste, ALL stalls were filthy! I've used gas station restrooms that were cleaner than Targets! Considering Target has designated personnel to clean the rooms hourly, the fact I had to walk in and find human feces and urine on the floor/toilets in 3 STALLS is beyond acceptable and disgusting. I see that someone else on 5/16/2019 has already written a nice comment for this same woman, I think her name is Helen. She really is a bright spot, cheerful and thanks us for being a customer. (Something we find the other cashiers forget to do.....we thank them for bagging our purchases and they say you're welcome, whereas, it should be the other way around thanking us for shopping) But getting back to Helen, she thanks us, makes a nice comment about the day, the weather. Thank the lord for this Target that was one of the very first addition to the Landing when it was still developing so I can completely avoid the one in Tukwila with all that mall traffic bs just to get some small items. And there is absolutely no way do I want to step into the Renton Walmart. I love how over the years, Target has expand their groceries section which is very, very close to everything you can find at a typical grocery store, but with the convenience now. It would receive a 5 star from me, but they took out the express check out and replaced it with a self check out which I think I do a slow job at, but it isn't too much of an obstacle. Make sure to check out their value sections, you do run into decent findings sometimes! I found a cute jacket for my dog for only $3! Be careful, these cheaper items can quickly add up though. Haha. Overall, this is a nice, quieter Target location with easy parking (depending on what time), but it works for me. This is a pretty nice Target, all things considered. I mean, it's in this god awful commercial area right near the Boeing plant in Renton. There are a lot of condos and businesses all crammed into this odd, odd area. But that is a story for another day..... Anyway, the cool thing about this Target is that it is about 10 minutes away from where I work, so it's easy to just pop over there to buy or return something. The store itself is clean and shiny. Employees are super friendly. My last cashier noticed that the customer in front of me had accidentally left a bag of items they purchased. He quickly grabbed a nearby staff member to take his place, grabbed the bag, and ran out the door after them. How nice is that? Also, this is one of those Targets with a large grocery section with fresh foods, so you can get all your shopping done here fairly easily. Minus one star for the god awful mirrors in the dressing rooms - what have they DONE in there? All Targets are like this now and I pretty much don't buy clothes here anymore because I always run out of there cursing the mirrors. read more

I called beforehand looking for a particular product for a client. The gal I talked to stated that the product was available, in mixed flavors, in bulk packaging. Unfortunately, when I got to the store they were being sold individually or in packages of only one flavor. I talked to grocery management and the store lead for that day. Both were very accommodating, giving me the price of that particular product when it was first introduced to the store. It was a HUGE savings!!! Not to mention, made my client very, very happy. I had been to two other Target stores that day, I felt very discouraged and thought we would have to order the product online, easily double the normal price! I'm giving this location five stars for a couple of different reasons. Management was accommodating and quick to offer a solution! Plus, this location always seems to have more of the fun cheapie stuff in the front of the store? You know, the stuff in the dollar bins when you first walk in?! LOL I'm pretty sure those dollar bins are where I waste most of my time and money! I really appreciate the clean store, easy to find products, and management that is friendly and so accommodating. Do you think purple or blue would look better on me?" End vote: With the tie-breaker going to the helpful lady manning the fitting rooms? 3-2, purple wins. So, there's a Wal-Mart about a 5min drive away but it's so dirty and packed, hardly even worth the thought. Target always has good prices and sometimes some unusual cool stuff you haven't seen or been able to find. Sure, it can be a bit more expensive.. Like a few dimes to a couple dollars. To shop for necessities, and a bit more, at a nice clean store, I say its worth the extra drive and cents. You get what you pay for, that includes customer service. Hi, my name is Kat, and I am addicted to Target. This location is the most accessible to me - unless I wanted to drive into downtown....which I don't! Target is one of those reliable spots that you can go for whatever you need and a little, or a lot, of what you don't need. All in all, I'm a fan. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the staff at the customer service counter. If I'm returning it and it's never been used, the reason "I don't want it" should suffice. They're very forceful for an alternate reason, which is a little weird and a lot unnecessary. read more

Very clean, bright and has helpful sales people who seem to know when to ask if you need help. I'm really excited that they're expanding to include a full grocery store. I love this Target! I have been pleased with this Target since it opened in The Landing. I was not so pleased yesterday when shopping for things for my company. I entered a line with a younger gentleman by the name of Jordan at the register. I did have issues with the new chip in the credit card feature. Not only did Jordan have a hard time scanning items from the dollar section, but as his line began getting longer, I could tell that he was not pleased with me. I asked Jordan if this was his first day, and he said it was at the register. He went on to say to me that " he did not like people to be waiting in his line" aka I was making his line long with my card holdup situation. I was not pleased with his response, and I wish Jordan the best of luck with longer lines during the holiday season. read more

It's still very new, so it doesn't seem to get too crowded. they have a Starbucks, pharmacy, a pretty big food selection (way bigger than any of the other Targets in the Seattle area), and best of all a complete isle dedicated to wine!
