This store is absolutely disgusting!! I grew up in Reno and after visiting the store recently, I am so sad to see the nastiness of how dirty, disorganized and only two registers open (with real people to help check-out) on a Saturday!! Tampons and bloody lads all over the restroom floor and very toilet backed-up, ugh! I think I'll go to Walmart next time I need some water. read more

Hayden is amazing. She seriously went way above and beyond for me a couple days ago, and helped me out immensely. I had a mess of baby shower gift receipts and several items to return and no clue what items were on which receipt, and I was dreading having to try to sort it out. There was a line in customer service so she jumped in to help out and was so patient and thorough. It was quite a process, and she (or any other employee) very easily could have been annoyed or inconvenienced but she had the exact opposite reaction. She created a system and took her time which made me feel like I was important as a customer, and seems to be so rare these days. She has helped me before this day and I remembered her, because she just seems like a genuinely good person. In our interaction she was thoughtful and nice to talk to, and courteous and friendly with her co-workers too. It seems like she really values and enjoys her job. I seriously can't say enough good things about her. She definitely deserves a raise .. but good karma is definitely coming her way no matter what, I just know it. Thank you so much, Hayden!! :) read more

I've this store. Tge customer service is great. It is neat and clean. If something is forgotten in my pick up order, they make it better right away. It starts at the top and to me it's obvious the leadership is good. read more

I never used to shop target. My friend got me hooked as they have nice things and a lot of items I need that are readily available. I won't say to many good things about buying a product online and picking it up at the store the same day because I brought an electric tea kettle online to pick up that day at Target. I had not done this type of shopping and pickup at store before. So I thought I'd try it out. I got to the service counter gave them my pick up info and my teakettle was brought to me in a plastic bag like I had bought it at a garage sale. It wasn't in a box, there were fingerprints all over it ( it was a glass copper tea kettle) so it showed every mark. I asked for one in a box and he said this was all they had. I got my refund as I said I didn't want it now. I went back to the small kitchen appliance section and low and behold they had plenty of the same tea kettles I had bought on line and they were all properly packaged in boxes. Oddly enough, the shelf display kettle was gone. Hmmmm This happened with sheets I ordered on a separate occasion I went to the target service counter and the sheets were not there for me. I went back to the bedding department and sure enough there they were, sitting on the clearance rack with the package open and most of the sheet was out of the package. I even went there before the pick up time expired. So I'll just go there myself and pick out what I need or have it shipped to my home. This won't stop me from shopping there or online. read more

I love me some Target! I appreciate the bargain deals that they offer! We always find great prices on clothes and toys for our little kiddos. And in all seriousness.... I really heart that they have a Starbucks located in the store. Sometimes that is just what I need as I am shopping...to sip some lovely coffee or chai tea! Another great thing about Target is the dollar bins! Seriously, I shop here for my work! I have to have prizes for individuals for some of the workshops that we put on and people ALWAYS love those silly little dollar prizes from Target! One thing I have to note is that while we were checking out, the lady was telling us how much she loves working for Target and how the employees are treated so well. (the conversation started because her boss walked by dressed up in a costume for the holiday shopping). It makes me feel so good when I hear employees talk so highly about their jobs and that they enjoy being there! Those are the kind of places I am happy to give my business. Way to go Target, keep it up! Oh and you may be thinking she just said it because her boss was walking by... her boss was not close enough to hear! I think it truly was authentic. read more

It's a Target, so that automatically places it a good notch above your average Walmart (especially the nearest Walmart to this particular Target which is rather abysmal). That said, it is the older of the two stores in this metro area and it shows it's age and neglect. My opinion would be improved if this store had the newer carts like the Sparks store, a more intelligent layout, cleaner store and friendlier staff. Still, we come here often, even if just to browse around and kill time. However, if we're serious about doing some Target shopping we head out to Legends to the "real" store. read more

I recently had to return a TV and was scared to do so as you see the receipt had special instructions that said no returns after a certain date. I had actually purchased the TV as a birthday present for my mom, which up until giving to her had been in my house undisturbed. When she opened it the entire screen was cracked. I called Target to explain and due to a power outage had to go to the store instead as their phone system was not working properly. I had to speak to a manager to OK the change as I was just requesting a replacement, not cash back. Each employee at the returns and desk and then the manager were completely understanding and nice about the whole thing. We got the TV switched out and the birthday was saved! Thank you Target! read more

I generally am not a big fan of big box discount stores, but I tolerate Target a whole lot more than Wal Mart. I like this particular Target. The lay-out and available merchandise are good. It is also a more convenient location than the one south of Meadowood. read more

Best one in the area. While Legends is closer, this store seems to have a better selection and way better customer service. Kristi was particularly helpful today. This store didn't have enough of everything but she went out of her way to make sure they didn't have more in the back, that Legends did have enough, and set it up so that it would be waiting for us at the Legends store. read more

Target - Yummy! Nice assortment. - Department Stores Near Me - Reno, Nevada

The pharmacy here ROCKS. They know me by name and have my meds out before I get to the counter. I've had some unusual meds that aren't kept on hand, which is typical so no big deal. They call when the meds come in, and always are correct about the delivery times. If I drop off a prescription, they have it ready in 10 minutes. They are super fast, polite, and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Reno. The store is well stocked and mysteriously, I've never seen it crowded. There are always plenty of registers open. This is probably the best Target ever. read more

I have been to this store several times over the years. It strikes me as light and bright with good space between the isles. it often has what seems to me a theme of merchandise through out the store, so if you are not in that mode you are out of luck. but for every day stuff they seem to have a good mix and prices. today our visit was precipitated by Gus as he was looking for three things all of which he figured he could find at target, he was wrong. not one item of want was found so off we went. read more

Favorite target store! So clean. So friendly. I was just in there today, every employee I passed had a great big smile with a nice greeting or offering help. My girls and I can get lost in there for hour just looking at the new fun house decor! read more

I shop here a lot. Some staff are really great here. Sadly though I find myself shopping more and more else-where as their prices have gone up some much in food section and school supplies. Its usually cheerful and pleasant in there. read more

I went in today looking for fingertip bandages. I was told they don't carry them and I should "go to a bigger store." How much bigger does a store get than Target? Ridiculous. I found what I was looking for at Walgreen's: a much SMALLER store. read more

Good local target. Good as any target. Because all Targets are exactly the same. st Louis to Reno. The exact same layout. My wife bought a swimsuit and we got more snacks and stocked up on water and other must haves for our stay at the hotel. We all found everything we were kooking for. Thanks! read more

I really starting to dislike this Target store. They never have what you need, and they put other items on the wrong shelves. I found out if no inventory, they take the items next to it and fill in the empty slot instead of having great inventory. Every time I try to have pizza, they always tell me that's all they have which are pasta, they should change the name from Pizza Hut to Pasta Hut. Either they don't have it or too lazy to make more. Tonight is no different, they only have pasta but no pizza. The other time, they close the cafe because nobody is covering it and she's on lunch break. I feel bad for the employees. Customers get mad at them because management can't find coverage or doesn't step up to help. read more

Ahh Target, another big box store in Reno - the hardest for me to write a review for. We have two Targets in Reno and this is the closest to home for me. It's also conveniently located just off the freeway so stopping in is pretty easy to do. There is a ton of available parking at this location too. When I used to coupon, we would frequent this Target almost once a week to score on their sales. But since I stopped doing that, I don't have a need to stop in unless I need shampoo and a simple vegetable to go with dinner and I really don't feel like dealing with the crowd at Walmart or even Smith's. Target has a somewhat nicer selection than Walmart and they are never as crowded either. But with that they also have almost no employees working checkout. With twenty lanes, you would think they would staff more than two of them at any given time. Will I keep swinging by Target when the mood strikes me? Of course. If I ever get back into couponing they will once again become my go to for deals and savings. read more

This is just a rating of their pharmacy. This pharmacy is excellent. I used to go to CVS and Costco but the wait time was just insane at both locations. This Target is very fast and I like the workers here a lot. I needed something I didn't have time to wait a day for (it was my own fault), and right then and there they gave me their whole inventory of what my doctor wrote I needed. read more

This was my first visit to this location, and I was impressed by the large parking lot, the cleanliness and the quiet. I've never felt so calm walking around Target before (always busy in SoCal), so I could get used to this! I love me some Tarjay! Since breaking up with Walmart, indefinitely, Target is my go-to. I really don't need to list the reasons I love Target, it's the same reason you leave your kids with the babysitter, grab a coffee, and spend your Saturday afternoon to slowly, adoringly stroll through each and every aisle. We all get it. Ladies, we get it. The reason I'm not giving my true lover 5 stars is because lately I feel like he's trying to screw me over. Twice now, merchandise I specifically checked the price on came up a different price. I know this isn't unheard of in retail, but I've never noticed it to happen at Target, which is an establishment I always assumed was pretty honest. The first time, I was told by the cashier, "It probably was in the wrong place on the shelf". It wasn't, but I was too tired to fight it. The second time it happened was today. Seattle's Best coffee was on sale for $5. I had to have it. At the register it rang up as $5.39. This is my theory, and GOD ALMIGHTY, let me be wrong, sometimes Target advertises items for sale, but they ring up at a slightly higher price. How many people will notice? Probably not many. I really hope I'm being a crazy conspiracy theorist, but check your items when they ring up. I hope this ceases to happen, because I ain't going back to Walmart. One teensy weensy last complaint. Can someone take those carts out back and spray them down with bleach? They are a little questionable. Thanks. read more

I really enjoy shopping at the Reno Target. It's well organized and easy to find what I'm looking for. I complimented the store manager (can't remember his name, darn it) several times on the wonderful check out experiences I've had. Typically if there is just 2 persons in a line, he calls other checkers to the front. I'm always in and out of this store pretty fast and don't have to wait in long lines like one would at, ahem - Walmart. Yuck. I hate even typing the word out. Love the Reno Target. :) read more

Yet another target re-model project gone wrong. I'm seriously not a fan of the mini grocery store concept that they have been integrating into sone target stores and this store was not exception. In addition, the aisle organization is eh in this target which makes the shopping experience not so hot. The whole experience for me was eh... I've been to better Targets and this did not live up to my expectations of the Target Brand. read more

Definitely the place to go! I always come here for beauty and clothes needs and I'm almost never disappointed! I mean who can walk out of target empty handed, come on. I am generally a fan of Target, but on this visit the shopping was made a bit difficult because the lights kept going out throughout the entire shopping experience. Shopping here is soooo much better than a local Walmart, so 3 stars for that. The staff at this store is definitely lacking in manners, demeanor, and dress code standards compared to Targets I am used back in the midwest. The good news is, it's still not Walmart so we shop here often. read more

I guess I'm more of a Target guy than a Wal Mart guy. I like the prices and quality of merchandise better here than at Wal Mart.

Very clean target store in a safe area. Full oharmacy, food and retail. One stop shopping. Does not seem to ever be crowded.

When I'm hitting the Reno stores, this Target is always a must stop after neighboring Sierra Trading Post. As a larger Target, it's got more selection in the areas that I need - the $1 bins, toiletries and household goods. Though I inevitably end up with some groovy not-to-$$ clothing from the Isaac Mizrahi sale rack somehow. read more

This is my go to store when I want a break from the "other" stores. It's clean and quiet here. I love target! Coming from California, target has always been my number 1 spot to shop for anything and customer service has always been top of the line until I came to this target. The employees are not friendly nor do they try to help or resolve your issue except for 1 and multiple tries. I went through 3 different employees and a manager over items that were under a sign that read "50% off or more" The items under this sign were not marked 50% off or more so I asked about a few items to 3 different employees, finally the last 1 said she will call her MOD to come and clarify it. He came and seemed bothered because she was back and forth with him on the walkie. He told me because those were online orders the price are as is, I said ok then maybe you should remove the sign because its misleading customers and he continues to say the price are marked as is. I walked away smh and thinking wow that was rude. Needless to say I will not be shopping here anymore, guess I'll try the 1 in Sparks I hope customer service is better there, employees don't try to avoid you and that they don't have false advertising. read more

One of my favorite all around stores. I love the service I get every time I go in, and although the prices are a bit more than Walmart, I feel like I get what I paid for. There is plenty of parking outside and they maintain the exterior very clean. The store is not that busy which means I don't normally have to wait in line for checking items out. The store is clean, organized, and it's very easy to find products. I love that they have many sales going on all the time. The inclusion of a Starbucks and Pizza hut inside always overpowers any McDonald's at Walmart. This Target has about everything you could want! I always choose Target over other stores, and the quality service is amazing. read more
