weirdest target i've been to , security is up like hell lol, speaker in the parking lot about how they're recording and two security guards in the entrance on their high horse lol i didn't interact with them they just stared the hell out of me it was weird. and there's no self check out it took a whole 10 minutes of waiting in a slow ass check out line to get out with only 5 items. set up was different than any other target i've been to too, selection was decent. a ton of stuff was locked up behind glass doors and im sure it takes another 10 minutes to get anyone to help u get items out. prices were as any target would be, too damn overpriced. picture of my cat to make ur day better

Two story Target located at Mall 205, which is a cluster of stores, not a Mall, so set your expectations. It's a pretty basic Target but they do keep it clean and well organized. I've been coming here for many years and have never had any issues or bad experiences. On the first floor, they have the most common items. Health & Beauty, greeting cards and paper goods, school supplies, kitchen & small appliances, jewelry and accessories, electronics, clothing, seasonal, and even a small grocery area. For its size, they do stock the items you need to pick up regularly. Fresh fruit and produce, lunch meat, pantry items, bread, snacks, drinks, even beer, wine and hard cider. Target has their own brand, Good & Gather and the food is tasty and very reasonable prices. For example, you can pick up a pound of low sodium roasted Turkey lunch meat, that has two individual packets inside, for $5.99. It's tastier than any prepackaged Turkey and is a regular purchase for me. I'm always picking up limes, lemons and onion while I'm there. Children's toys are upstairs. You can take an escalator or an elevator; carts go separately on the escalator. In Health & Beauty I pick always up Pantene Shampoo and conditioner, Crest toothpaste, Q-tips, Jergens body lotion - all prices better than other stores. Their toilet paper and paper towels are more expensive though; I can always find at Fred Meyers for a few dollars less. As soon as you walk in, there is a $1-3 area, as all Target stores have. It's always worth checking out. Surprisingly, there are always useful items. Also love the accessories. Always find on trend scarves to kick up an outfit. And winter scarves and hats to keep you warm. Fun, inexpensive fashion jewelry at their Bauble Bar, usually knock offs of designer items but for under $12.00. During Covid the staff is constantly cleaning and sanitizing. And there are always employees walking the aisles so it's easy to get help if needed. Lines move quickly. The Starbucks and the cafe were closed when I was there yesterday, due to Covid. When open, it's hard for me to resist their hot pretzels which are buttery and sweet. Parking out front is plentiful but sometimes frustrating with the one way aisles and angular parking. This isn't my usual target but when I'm in that area and I need something I can only get at Target, like their Champion brand athletic wear, I stop in and check out my favorite departments.

All the socks and underwater are locked up. There are hardly any mens clothes. Shelves are somewhat baron compared to other targets I have been to. Must be the high theft area this store is located. It's quite a different experience than say Clackamas Target.

Finally found a mini dresser in just the right size and its not black! There was nothing online so I went in hoping to find this storage unit. Scored the last one! It's the prefect 3 drawer unit and it was 20% off. Win win! Parking can be a mess here though. Nice two story Target. Dl the Target app for rewards.

Expired products that were placed in our pick up and go order.

I used toblove this Target, but it's gone way downhill. Theft is such a huge problem that there are more loss prevention employees wandering around than actual clerks, and there are about 20 registers, but I've never seen more than 1 or 2 people staffed at checkout. Why bother having so many registers if you aren't going to pay employees to staff them? And I understand the theft issue is a much larger conversation that requires the city to actually start addressing the houselessness crisis, mental health, and rehabilitation services, but that's an issue the city needs to address. My biggest issue is that this has also bled into apathetic employees (I don't blame the workers, however. You guys do your best and should seriously unionize for better pay and benefits for what you have to put up with), huge swathes of empty shelves, and expired goods all over the place. I have informed people several times that products were expired only to have the same expired products sit on the shelves. A few weeks ago I handed an expired box of peanut butter cups to an employee at checkout, the candies had expired in August of last year. The employee just put them in a pile of things to put back and I found them on the same shelf the next week. Today, we did a pick up and go order and several of the food items we received were already expired by several months, and will need to be returned, including the same Atkins peanut butter cups that I'd already reported as being expired TWICE! Target clearly doesn't care about checking expiration dates on food items, and has no issue selling goods to consumers that could make them sick. If you shop here, be wary of what you're buying, and please check the expiration date, because no one else seems to be, and no one seems to care if it's gone bad.

The quality of the product exceeded expectations and we look forward to many years of use and relaxation. We have been living in Portland for five years and wish we had found City Liquidators sooner. We have a small craftsman cottage with limited space and David really helped us pick the right furniture for our space. If you live in a larger house the choices are endless. Not just furniture but antique bars, neon lights, classic oversized film and music posters and artwork. You can get a lifesize Harley Quinn or John Wayne wooden statue, credenza's or wardrobes along with any kitchen supplies and small appliances you might need. New and vintage choices abound. When you go plan accordingly as there are multiple floors of merchandise to choose from and free lollipops for the kids to keep them busy. Even if you don't buy anything, the first trip you'll be blown away by the selection and you'll definitely come back to get something unique the next time. That's what we did. Also, and most importantly, no pressure from the sales staff. They let you wander around and really look over anything you'd like. As I like to say you don't get the hard sell on the soft couch. Have fun.

Vast selection, the best vintage in Portland! When I visit, I plan on at least 45 minutes because there is so much to see! I walk around the entire footprint then turn around and walk the other direction because different items will catch your eye. If you are seeking an occasional chair, they have so many styles and cool pieces. Wish I had room for more! They just don't make these styles anymore or of the same quality. They usually have a large selection of couches also in shades of teal, orange, avocado just like on The Brady Bunch. Even plaid, if that's your thing. And of course boomerang shaped coffee tables to complete your seating area. There are so many unique one of a kind pieces too, like an upright piano transformed into a bar. OMG, I wish I had the space for it! What I always have room for is unique bar ware and glasses and they have lots to choose from. Lots of metal and sculptural wall art which really gives a room personality especially when complimenting paintings or prints. They have a large selection of table lamps but it's the hanging pendants that I really love. Perusing this store ignites so many memories! I see items that take me back to my childhood home, pieces I haven't thought about in years. My face lights up remembering a curved side table, a Sputnik light and metal flower wall art similar to what adorned our den. Or a set of whiskey sour glasses like the ones my dad drank from, prints on pillows that are in photographs in my family album. Furniture that over years made it's way to our basement and then probably a vintage shop like Hawthorne Modern! Love, love, love this place! They moved to SE Alder but the charm, the selection, the finds are all still there!

Do not consign furniture with this company! Similar to an…read moreearlier Google review from Renetta, I had a very poor experience as a consigner with this business. I consigned 7 pieces with them in February 2023. Michael, the owner of the business, violated the terms of consignment contract in two ways and was just a poor business person to deal with. He violated the agreement by lowering prices for my pieces below the agreed threshold without notifying me, as was required. And he did not make payments to me following sales of individual items as was also required. Perhaps more importantly, as Renetta experienced, he provided no documentation whatsoever as to the actual sales of the items - no receipts, invoices sent to clients, no notation of sales prices per item, nothing. He just said the total proceeds were XXX$ (less than 50% of his original estimation). So he could have been completely making the number up. Because of this I asked for a report with prices by pieces and receipts. He refused to provide one. When I eventually gave up on that, he then ignored my requests for payment until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I was finally paid for my pieces almost a year after consigning them. I am a small business owner myself. I store receipts for every transaction my business conducts. If someone asks for a receipt or record of a transaction I can provide it easily. For Michael, this is too much to ask.

They have curated a vast collection of mid-century modern furniture, many unique pieces, and in good condition. Was impressed and amazed at how many chairs they have! Not one or two of this and that; they had enough of the same chair to surround a dining table for 6 or 8! And also many dining tables of different materials and styles. Michael, the owner, gave me a cheerful greeting upon entry and welcomed me into the store. He gave me details on several items I was checking out, and since he didn't have the Eames chairs in the particular color and leg style I'm seeking, he offered to reach out to his network and get back to me. Now that is service! The store is deceivingly large so take your time and go through every room. In addition to couches, occasional chairs, dining tables and chairs, there are coffee tables, ottomans, side tables, lamps, hanging lights, chandeliers, pottery, vases, some dinnerware and some beautiful art. I'm so happy that I discovered this gem of a store! I will be making my rounds here frequently. Beautiful items, fair prices, and super friendly and helpful service - a winning combo!
