This is my go-to target when I want to order on their app for "drive up". Honestly, it's a great way to prevent overspending LOL! I love Target! Every time I've been here; it has been easy, timely, and pleasant. This recent visit, during a beautiful morning: I had to return an item, purchased a few shirts, and picked up an order I placed on their app. What I love about this particular Target is that it seems to be pretty well stocked. I've purchased/ordered: groceries, household items, clothes, etc and the store mostly has what I needed. The employees at this Target are nice and helpful. This target is ridiculous. I placed an order in which 2 in stock items needed to be moved to another store. I wanted to picked them up at another store close by as they were gifts for a party. That store than cancelled my items and I had to place another order with different items. On my way to the party with a 1 year old in her car seat which she hates getting into I stopped to grab my available item but they said because I had to replace yet again the items that were out of stock I have to wait at least 2 hours. 2 hours in a car with a one year old. No one else in site for a drive up order and they are not accommodating at all! I will not step a foot in another target. I'll cross the bridge and go to Walmart before I ever give target another dollar out of my pocket. Will also be closing my target credit card because fuxk target! read more

This is my local Target. I am familiar with it and I've always liked it here. The store is clean and organized. They are on top of the line with social distancing and the line always moves quickly. I also recently have been enjoying the order ahead and they bring it to your car when you get there. So nice and simple. read more

I was in and out in 7 minutes. Man, I'm so sick of spending money on bottle water. Literally fed up. Something had to change. I find bottle water so inconvenient due to it plastic container. Before you know it m, you've accumulated a mountain of water bottles, and you're just as broke as before you spent the money to buy the water to begin with. I finally bought a filter for my tap. After all these years of heading to do weekly grocery shopping, I didn't buy a case of water. I felt so relieved. I feel free from the endless cycle of piling up bottles to take out for weekly recycling. I'm free of whatever contaminants were lingering in the water. Man, it feels good. By the way this target has a great and varied selection of natural hair care products. One of the best I've seen in the immediate area. Other than that it's your typical Target. For the most part it's organized but not always kept clean. read more

I like this store. Normally clean. Friendly workers who try to help. They have a decent selection for groceries. Not the cheapest but good for small shopping trips. The Starbucks is a nice addition. Love getting a cold brew before I start shopping. read more

I've lived near this Target for eight years. I know it well. The bathrooms are only clean first thing in the morning. The shelves get stocked randomly and it's usually the things I'm looking for that are missing for weeks. There's never enough cashiers working. Things se constantly mislabeled or in the wrong place. The staff is generally friendly and can be helpful most times but good luck finding one unless they're restocking shelves which I thought was something most stores did overnight. On the plus side I've never been harassed at this store for NIP and the changing tables have been clean each time I needed them even if the family bathroom itself was in need of attention. I only go in here now if I absolutely have to and have begun simply ordering online and having it delivered. I suggest you do the same or find a better stocked one like the one in Cherry Hill. CHECK BELOW UPDATE!!! This Target has undergone an upgrade and I'm proud of it now. It grew up!! It's still not as well stocked as I'd like but I now understand they can only keep so much in one space and I get around so much it's not very difficult to find what I need elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative that they had a wide selection of Ball Canning Jars, and for good prices too. Add to that the reusable and eco-friendly products - Grove reusable spray bottles & tablet cleaning products, recycled aluminum foil, reusable glass and steel containers - I was in heaven! All the employees were super nice, the store was clean...even the homeless guy out front was really sweet and just wishing everyone a good day. I've been consistently satisfied with this Target. I can get my cosmetics, toiletries, water filters, and animal supplies at a reasonable price. I love all of the Archer Farms foods and that I can get something from Starbucks or grab a blue raz Icee on my way out. I've been looking for a new bed set, though, and each time I come here I can't find anything that'll work. Something else that disappointed me was I visited here the Tuesday after Christmas and all of the trees were gone. My husband and I were waiting until after the holidays to get one at a discount, and we obviously had no luck with that. Overall, though, this is an OK place to shop. This review is compared to other targets I've been into (particularly the ones in Jersey.) It's just ok. I feel sometimes the deals at other targets are a little better than this one. It's also sometimes really hard to find what you are looking for. I always feel as if the items aren't really fully stocked. This past weekend, I came here to get my son a new sippy cup bc I lost the one he uses sooo often on the Boardwalk somewhere. Couldn't find it at all here!!!! So many empty hooks where the sippy cups would hang from and tons of empty shelves as well. Come on!! It's the weekend. You should be at your fullest and have everything stocked. Ugh! I ended up buying a different brand which I don't completely love. :-( Good thing about this place is that it does have a starbucks. If you've seen my check ins, you know I love my starbucks! Bad thing about the Starbucks here...only one worker so waiting for a drink can be death. Haha (maybe not that serious, but you get my point) I come here often bc it's right across the street from me. So convienient if I need something fast. So disappointed with pharmacy recently. Never had a problem until last month. Pharmacy will not remove a message from my file from October. It was a minor insurance issue that was resolved 3 months ago. The people working there today were not helpful. Pharmacist was condescending. When I explained the situation, he then told me there were no refills. Time to change to another pharmacy. read more

Well, it's a Target. That being said, when I get into a car and decide whether to go to this Target or the South Philly Target, this one usually wins. Not that either Target store is physically different from each other but what makes this Target an experience is the people that visit it. I've heard people screaming at each other, other people get rude with the help, and some other weird experiences that lend me to shrug my shoulders and say "eh! That's Northeast Philly!" The staff, though, is usually helpful which is nice. read more

It's a target - but not the best one. It's got alot of pick-over merchandise, but all in all we can usually get what we need. We shop here 1-2 times per month and never fail to drop at least $100 on household products, toddler gear and assorrted crap we don't really need EVERY time we walk thru the door. read more

I don't see how anyone could spend their money & money at the Target in South Philly when this location an option. It's clean & friendly and I have yet to have a bad experience while shopping here. I was at this location just last night and I found everything on my list and more! The cashier was extremely friendly, even though I had her price check everything and I changed my mind on a few items. Even the parking lot is less stressful! After 3.5 years of the South Philly Target, I'm now a shopper of this one (since I moved up to Fishtown...obviously). The difference is pretty amazing. Its.....clean. Actually clean! Employees that look and act like employees! Products on shelves and hangers instead of the floor! It's a miracle!! I still don't think the layout is great, but that's every Target store I've ever been in. I also still dislike the majority of the other shoppers (Yes, it's rude to leave your cart sideways in an aisle while you wander over to 3 other aisles as slowly as possible) but that has no bearing on the actual store. Considering the customers this location is capable of drawing due to it's proximity to Kensington, Frankford and North Philly, this is a pretty nice store. I'm always in and out and have never had a problem. I appreciate them keeping the Butler Street side of the store clean and litter-free after I pointed it out to them two years ago. read more

Store is a MESS. Trash all over the floors, especially in the front of the store. Shelves look like bombs went off. Clientele in this store looks like buses from North Philly dumped the neighborhood here. People walking around eating Pizza Hut. Kids unattended to. Shopping carts all over the parking lot. Not crazy about this location, but the employees have always been nice and helpful. It is close to me and convenient, but it seems like it is never stocked compared to other stores. This was an issue even before covid. I also feel like it was a nice store until the customers trashed it. Everytime I go there there is trash and empty boxes in the parking lot because people are too lazy to throw it away. The trash can is always overflowing. Sad people lack common decency anymore. The Customer Service Associate was a gem. Staffing needs to be mirrored after her, because the cashier and other floor members are ALL grumpy Gusses! So hate TARGET for this reason! Sales floor a mess! Products and merchandise EVERYWHERE, mislabeled and then to have the cashier raise her voice at me AND be wrong without even apologizing afterwards! Michelle at the CVS Pharmacy in Target is really nice. I had trouble getting my prescription refilled because of trouble outside of the pharmacy's control. She was patient and helpful and did everything she could to help me. read more

this is MY target! this is the one closest to my house and this is the one i go to more than once a week. even just to roam around. sadly it doesnt carry the designer clothing lines i dont think. but theyre always in stock with everything else. they have great sales. helpful people work here. its never too crowded, though it is getting busier lately. i think for a while people in this area didnt "get" target and stuck to their kmart and walmart and save a lot, etc. but now they have caught on. still, its a clean target and an organized target for the most part. also the parking lot is never crazy which rules. read more

As a resident with many Target Stores available, I find myself trekking to this location most often. (over South Philly, City Avenue, the next two closest). It's cleaner than most, the staff are pleasant, and they are well stocked. For near center city shoppers, a go-to Target experience. read more

I typically go to the Wal-mart off Aramingo, but every once in a while, I need a breath of fresh air and head to Target. Wal-mart on Aramingo has everything I need, but just has a very disheveled low-mid class feel that Target strays away from. Though Target prices are typically a bit higher, this Target is well organized and clean. read more

Everytime I go in here my wallet is a lot lighter. The store is very clean. You can always find the thing you really need. I am really not sure why they put that really small produce section in the store? It barely has any produce. The book section is pretty decent with the best sellers. I have also found old movies for like $5 & not just thrown in a bin but neatly on the shelves so you don't have to search for them. I love this store all the way until I get to the check out counters. They never have enough cashiers & their line are long. read more

But overall, I was impressed--it's definitely the best city big box store I've been to in terms of neatness, staff, not feeling crowded, etc. My one complaint is they didn't have enough cashiers so we were sort of forced to use self checkout. I used to love this target pharmacy, until they switched my medications manufacturer and I had a terrible reaction. When I confronted the Pharmacist about my reaction he continued to lie to me with a straight face. He said the previous manufacturer was recently bought out and it seemed they were no longer making my medication. I have a pharmasist friend look into it for safety measure and found the manufacturer is still around and still producing my medication. So I suffered for no reason and they were trying to cover themselves. Awful. read more
