Amongst Targets in this city, this is the best one in my experience, and also with the biggest selection. That being said, as with most Targets this size, it is pretty chaotic. That being said, I've come in here a few times now, to find some board games and puzzles, another time to find some towels, and another time for some gift exchange gifts, and haven't had too much issue getting in and out with what I need. I go through self-checkout and don't really engage with staff to find what I need-- tends to be self-explanatory when you follow the signs around and they have the kiosks where you can search in-store now too. For immediate purchases, probably the best place at the best price point to look for things in the city. But if you have some time and the means, best to head to NJ for somewhere that's more pleasant to shop at. read more

I arrived just after opening to pick up some things for my daughter. Staff were attentive and helpful. I was looking for Native Shampoo in the Body Wash section. A kind team associate directed me to the center just before groceries for shampoo, lotion, etc. I then needed some paper goods where "Charles" was so kind and helpful while stocking items. The store set up has changed in the back but a team member was always within sight for assistance. Many things are of great value. But 4 dish towels for $10 and $20 batteries were not in the budget. Oh, you may want to take your cart for a spin before loading items because my cart grew a personality of its own. I was moving my cart like the Red Bull Sales Rep. Definitely the best target in the city! This Target has a large variety of options, whether it's the clothing selection, food or toiletries. The service here is not great and it's usually impossible to find someone that works here, but they have a ton of self checkout stations. read more

For someone who works at Target at a different location, this store needs major improvements. The female closing manager is always very rude. The guest service advocates seem like they hate their job and they never want to help, and the store is never organized. Had an issue over a coupon. Manager didn't have the common sense to know the difference between an internet coupon and a manufacturers coupon (which is what i had) All he kept saying was "we don't take them".. "take what" i would say,,he said internet coupons...It's a manufacturers coupon...seriously , you and your employees don't know the difference? I like this store a lot. Their prices on a lot of groceries are substantially better than Acme, the people in the customer service pick up are always obliging and nice, despite the rare error in picking out products. There is ample parking and an off duty Philadelphia police officer in the store for added security. They we're one of the few places open and providing safe service during the worst days of the pandemic. This store is racist!!!! When me and my parents went to go to pay, we didnt have anything to carry our clothes with. We asked the lady at the register if we could get the bags (referring to if it was free or not). She said we could get it for free. Now this is the part where I got FURIOUS. We took the bags and we did it pretty quickly (referring to how people try to hog things quickly). My mom told me something that the security guard had said. Keep in mind we're Latino and our stereotype is robbing, drugs, and good food (Key word robbing) The guard had said to the employee attending the cashiers (self checkout) to take the bag off the thing. Not my favorite Target, but it's the largest one in the "city, city" so for that reason I frequent a bit. I definitely however make it a point to stop at other Targets outside of the city when I'm in the area for a quicker in/out, and when I'm looking for sold out collections as at this location those items are the quickest to go. My main reason for writing this review is how impressed with the upgrades I am!! If you haven't been here in awhile, swore this location off as other smaller Targets have opened up in the city, or have resorted to mostly shopping at Target online like I have, I will say the new enhancements and expansions of each department (especially womens & children) are fabulous and worthy of a new visit!! Check 'em out! The addition of the Starbucks and a bigger customer service area was much needed and very welcomed also! Most recently I was blown away with how large their Magnolia Hearth & Hand collection was! I've been hunting down this collection at a few Target locations and this is by far the biggest display I've seen. Still sold out of what I need, but this location had the best variety, and has items I didn't see at other Targets...Philly and surrounding suburbs! Heavenly!! Pro tip: don't come on the weekends! I avoid this area in general on the weekends when most people in the city run their errands here. I also avoid during back to school time as traffic from Ikea backs up to this area also. I do however combine a visit here with the other things I need in the area... and there so much around here, it's easy to make one big trip and accomplish so very much! I remember back when this space was just rubble!! It's a great location for such a massive Target and I'm glad they're finally starting to give it the attention it needs!! Loving it! Since they have remodeled the store some, it is much better to get around. I like that I get the majority of my shopping done from food to household items and clothes. Although food is not their strong suit you can get all the knick knacks. The fresh food selection is quite limited and not always in the best shape. It is more of a step up from a convenience store but not a grown up grocery store yet. I was blown away that they had my favorite pancake batter. Walmart doesn't even carry it. Frustrated! The good: to start this Target is located in a decent spot (location wise) as part of a larger plaza complex. It's easy to get to right off the highway and it has easy access to the on ramp when you have to leave. There is ample parking outside and there's even a snack area inside. The bad: so there's also a strip club right next door...not exactly family friendly. I don't know which establishment was first but there needs to be some reworking on placement. Also the roads need a major makeover - pothole city! Overall creates a seedy environment so I wouldn't recommend venturing after dark. The ugly: can this place please, please, PLEASE get themselves organized?! I have been here enough times now to know to set the bar low. I have a hard time finding anything since the signage is not clear, nor is there enough personnel on the floor readily available to help. I will say that when I do find someone, they are willing to help, but always have to go to a different department - the placement of product is not in the most obvious places! In addition, numerous times they were out of stock or do not carry what I'm looking for (basic things like dish detergent and sugar!) - why is it advertised if it will not be carried? It's unfortunate that this is the closest Target near me, I'll likely be venturing away from this branch in order to increase my chances of finding what I'm looking for. I like coming here either early in the morning or late at night- basically when no one is around, lol. I am just updating my review based on my most recent experience this weekend. I typically make a list in the app, and then just go straight to those aisles. I was striking out on things that were listed as in stock, and was telling a friend who I was on the phone with that I wasn't sure if I should give up and just head home. That's when a very friendly employee asked me if I was having trouble finding anything, and said he would be happy to double check for me. Target is a great place. It offers higher quality stuff and a more enjoyable shopping experience than a Walmart or Kmart. (Personally, I try to avoid patronizing stores or restaurants that end with mart, hut, barn, zone, or shack.) Philadelphians that live in the heart of the city rely on the shops on Miflin Street (Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Marshals, Petsmart, and more) to supply them will all of their needs that cannot be filled in the city itself with small over-priced "specialty" shoppes. Therefore, you have THOUSANDS of people descending upon these stores on the outskirts of the city to get EVERYTHING they need. I have found that often this Target never has what you need in stock. The one item that you actually need is not available. This is not a "Super Target" or "Target Graceland", so there aren't many extras beyond the basic stock. Returns and Exchanges are handled with no hassle provided that you have your receipt. I have returned a hand full of things this year (some due to not working as advertised and others because I didn't want them.) Nicely stocked & organized. Definitely a different environment than their competitors even only a few miles away. Depending on when you stop by, there may not be anymore shopping carts left inside so if you see a lot of carts outside, grab one. Their dollar section when you first walked in use to be a favorite. Always had something cool and new. But now it's less of a dollar section & has snacks. My friend & I like to come here sometimes when we have nothing to do to take a look at what's new. We usually leave with something. But my favorite part is .... We like to push each other around in those carts with a gray kid seat attached to the front. Was shocked at the horrible condition of this Target. Looked like a store looks right before a hurricane when everyone's gone nuts clearing the shelves. Seriously, huge swaths of empty shelves, missing most of the items I came for. Very poor selection. Rugs, towels, etc just thrown on the floor, displays in disarray. This Target has been around for over 10 years and it has undergone a few renovations. They change it from a Target to a Target with a supermarket. Now it is being renovated again to a more modern Target. They have added a Starbucks that is located in the front. They remain open for business during the renovations so don't get put off by what you see in the parking lot. I'll update my post after the renovations are complete. read more

I. Love. Target. Period. This one was slightly different than my normal Maryland target but still Good. They actually had some baby items on clearance that are not even on sale at my Maryland Target, score!! I was also able get some black flats that were not even at my normal Target.
