I really like this Target! Compared to my other close location (East Hanover) this Target is so much emptier, meaning it's way cleaner and more well stocked. They have a great dollar section and there is absolutely never a line at self checkout or Starbucks. This Target is almost like a hidden gem. It's literally night and day from their location in JC which is bustling at all hours of the day. Only knocking off a star because their children's clothing section is super lackluster. I will say that the East Hanover location has way more selection. But, for all other Target needs this is where it's at. I'm a suburban mom, so Target is life! read more

I really like this target. It's smaller but it does the job. Most items are available and selves are clean up. Not too busy and there is always parking. I do drive up most of the time since they did 10 items or less at self check out. Today there wasn't much drive up space since people, like the one in the picture, take up the spaces that aren't for parking. There is customer service available most of the time. The only thing I dislike it shutting down self check out and only have 2 people at the register. But that seems to be every target. read more

Relatively empty on a Monday early afternoon, I think I came before the lunch rush. There's a Starbucks inside and self checkouts were busy, it was only one staffer working otherwise in the cashier area doing returns. Plenty of restocking going on, although still a fair number of gaps on the shelves, suggesting still early or challenging inventory again. This Target pretty much has everything. It has food in the back, beauty on the left, clothes and toys in the center, electronics in the back right, home to the right, the CVS Pharmacy to the left, and Starbucks at the front when you first walk in. They also have a phone charging station at the front right when you walk in, and WiFi throughout the store. The prices are fair and I'm occasionally able to find stuff on clearance here and there on certain shelves at really good prices. When I came here earlier in the pandemic, they had someone at the front disinfecting all the cart handles before they handed a cart to you, which I really appreciated. The aisles are wide and social distancing isn't a problem when shopping. However the check out area could have been better sorted and separated out for the pandemic. There's 6 self check out stations and 5 or so separate lanes for non-self-checkout. This area can get really crowded at certain times of day and there's not nearly enough room at the front of the store for everyone to properly line up and checkout without feeling like you're stepping over each other all the time. Overall, I do feel safe coming here, but have definitely limited my trips during this year just for my general safety and well-being. read more

Yessssssss. As an avid target shopper I am so excited that a Target opened up in Parsippany. It is smaller than your average target but it does not disappoint. There is a little bit of every section in a normal target. I was even shocked they made room for food and women's activewear. I went morning on the first day open to public. It was empty and everything was fully stocked. Super super clean store. They have a Starbucks and they have our samples which were good. Their make up section has the new displays that I've seen rolling out to other targets. Staff was super welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to become a frequent shopper at this new location. read more

I was excited to see the New Target!! All the products and merchandising is very modern. My shopping experience made me believe I was in a Sephora, Marshall's, TJ Max, and Macy's. I went from cosmetics to clothing to home goods, without noticing. Everything grabbed my attention. Shoppers talking about how amazing Targets become. Everything was strategically placed, giving it a slight directory flow. As I walked through the store, I was relieved to see SPRING is finally here. It's definitely refreshing to finally see a store put in the effort to change our shopping experience. I highly recommend visiting this store, it will but Spring back into your life!! read more

this is a very clean and decently run target store which features a cvs pharmacy and a starbucks cafe. sometimes this store seems to be a bit understaffed but i always find what i come in here for and the self check out lines usually move along fairly reasonably. however, there is something about this particular target that is very different than most of the other target stores that i've been to. but i'll probably get around to that when i remember what that difference is. I wrote a review about 4 years ago for this location when they first opened. The cashier issue is still a very big problem. Only the self check out area is open and the lines are going down the isles. None of the checkout lines are ever open with actual cashiers. I went today to exchange something at customer service, and that line was long as well and while there are other employees on the floor, no one stepped up to assist people that were waiting in the customer service line. It's totally unacceptable, people were complaining about it and I ended up leaving. The customer experience at the checkout is very poor in this location. read more

*Pre COVID Review* I really enjoy coming to this Target in Parsippany. It's very bright, clean and not to mention, organized. Target sells really great products for great prices. However, when returning something, there's always a long wait and it's not because there's a lot of people on line. There was a woman helping with returns and she was taking her time doing so. I've worked in retail and I know the quicker you are the better you will be with customers. This wasn't acceptable. I visit Target more often than I'd like to admit. It appears that this store is good at making you buy $100 worth of crap when you came in for one or two items that should have totaled $10. I don't need to tell you all about the perks of Target (but I will include some tips on the bottom of this review.) Here's the deal with this Target - 1. It's small. That means you can easily get what you want and go. 2. The shelves are well stocked and neat. 3. The employees are visible and helpful. 4. While they have a limited selection as this store is about half the size of other Target locations, they have what I'd consider the best of the best. So, if you're looking for clothes, linens, or whatever, they seem to have selected more popular merchandise. 5. The customer service line doesn't take an hour to get through. It's also where you pay if you aren't doing self checkout. I hope that if this store picks up, they continue to hire more employees if needed. One drawback is they don't have a grocery section. Now some Target tips: 1. Get the Cartwheel App!!! Before you ring up your purchase, select any coupons to be applied. It's so easy! Pair that with Ibotta (another savings app where you must select your items prior to purchasing) and you're in business. And if you're reading this tip and you're all about saving, check out the Krazy Coupon Lady online or download her app. She shows deals at Target and many other stores. 2. They price match so there is no need to run to ten different stores for things. 3. They stand behind their products and will honor reasonable returns. 4. You can buy online and pick up in store. If you're going to the store and using the app, it will tell you what aisle your items are located in. 5. They often have great deals on diapers! 6. Look online if you have time. This is a really cute little target. The design is definitely updated and the layout very nice. Because it is slightly smaller there is not as much stock on certain things that really you could get what you need here. Check out the times I have been there seem to be self service only which makes me nervous if I have a large order I don't want to do it all by myself. Besides it being such a small Target, that it makes no sense, I went there today, a regular afternoon, and there were about 40 people in line for self checkout. Not one register was open for regular checkout. There were several employees in the front, on their phone and one flipping through a magazine. I really don't know what is worse, the poor management or the acceptance of this kind of customer service due to the plandemic. BTW, it's the store's job to check out their customers, not ours. read more

This target is one of the cleanest and organized one in the area the employees are very prompt and helpful. The trick is go early sunday morning when everything is fully stocked and empty literally best time to shop here. Ok so...I'll start by saying I LOVE Target. This one falls short :(. Imagine a cart FULL of items-it's Christmas & there's NO REGISTERS open! Lots of staff around store and I'm informed only self checkout. I don't mind self check out with a few things one bit. Here I wanted to use my target gift cards and hand over my money and it took forever to ring, no room to put items, had to run all the giftcard cards separately, put in a PIN number from back, pay with my debit for balance--30 minutes later-totally lost my love for this Target location. Oh-imagine blaringly loud music that other shoppers actually commented on how loud it was they couldn't think..couldn't run out of there fast enough. :( I get it if staff call in sick-but geez you have no plan b??????? read more

Be aware: their prices are often incorrect. I've had over five occasions where items I intended to purchase rang up completely different than advertised. God forbid an actual register is open, though, so it's a pain to even get live help to assist in the manner. I've all but given up shopping here which is a shame because it is a nice, clean store in a great location. Until they can get their pricing concerns straightened out, however, I'm going to stick with the Walgreens across the street. Shame. read more

I visited this Target yesterday and I loved it. For a Saturday it wasn't that busy which was nice. I actually prefer the smaller layout..it still has anything you could possibly need. On this special season, I bought apple GC before thanksgiving Day. Black Friday I went to apple store try to make a purchase, Then all the GC is already been redeemed. I bring my receipt and GC to store. Store manager let me fix by myself. Call the 1800xxxx number on the card. The amount I brought around $2000. So bad customer service. The worst Target ever. I will never go back. I came in for one return and one online order and it took two employees and multiple guests coming over to explain to these two employees this very simple transaction. After over half an hour, I finally had everything sorted. When I got home, another charge came up on my phone for items I hadn't even purchased. I dont like this Target. They never have anything we need (sandals for kids in the summer? No we dont carry those). The staff is extremely rude. A guy just last night pretty much refused to help us find something and just kept on walking. We complained to management because it was extremely rude and unprofessional. They have storage boxes lining the aisles (I was there on tuesday for something and Saturday... same boxes plus even more!!) When I've asked numerous times why they dont carry XYZ of what I'm looking for, I get told I can go to East Hanover or Fairfield as they're the full Target. Wow -Where do i start..Went On Wednesday 4/11. Coffee K cups were buy one get one free..Of course it didnt ring up (store has been open for a week and already problems) coffee was 9.99 with a buy one get one free .Didn't realize till i got to the car they charged me full price..Go back inside and wait about 20 minutes to get this resolved..Once they found the price 5 minutes go by then someone else rings me up and tells me 13.99 for the 2 k cups..I said no it's buy one get one free..Call a manager takes 10 minutes for someone to come to get this straightened out..I was so frustrated. Also saw 2 workers parking in the front spots..Sorry this should be for shoppers and people who cant get around too well. I have been routinely visiting this smaller sized Target location since it opened a few months ago. Confession: my first goal was to find a Starbucks along my route to work. As a long time Starbucks customer, I'll admit I was skeptical at best. I have been pleasantly surprised with the consistent, friendly "Starbucks quality" customer service. It is clear the manager leading this team is top notch. She, and all of the employees strive to please their customers and get orders right. The overall convenience of having a Target that carries almost everything one could need in a smaller, well organized format makes this store a "win/win." The overall store managers are always present to help customers and sales associates with the inevitable questions that arise. I was about to give up on Target in general, as the bigger locations became too large and messy to navigate. This store is fantastic in that it has what you need, without a lot of extras - but my review today is specific to the Pharmacy. Pharmacist Roma is AMAZING! She deserves a shout out because she is always there with a smile, she knows me and all the medicine takers in my family, including my dogs. She is always helpful with a new prescription or when the insurance company is giving me the run around. She goes above and beyond to make things easier and more efficient for me. And did I mention she is always smiling and friendly? I actually look forward to seeing her there. She is such a benefit to the store and should be recognized!! read more

This store is unorganized and hard to shop in. It was nice when it first opened but now it is always full of freight carts with merchandise making it difficult to get to shelves with items that you actually need. None of the staff will greet you even though they will walk by you several times during your trip. I was there one day in the fall and I believe it was a district manager or someone higher up visiting the store, they were talking in a group with other employees, noticed me walk by several times and never even looked up to acknowledge me. In a world dominated by online shopping, it would be nice to be appreciated for taking the time to make the trip to their specific store and to see if I needed any assistance. I've worked retail management for almost 10 years so I get how busy their schedules are, but a simple "Hello," would go a long way. They have lost my business at this location. read more

Really enjoyed the convenience of having a target nearby, everyone is friendly and the store is clean. However, after my visit tonite, specifically at checkout, I'm rethinking my opinion. There were alot of employees in the store, out on the floor, in the parking lot, but not one regular register open...not a one!!. There was self checkout only and the store was fairly busy. Nice and convenient but I just didnt feel I was saving in price in comparison to local grocery stores. Prices at cash register seemed higher oftne than what was listed on the shelf but would be too much of a hassle to address. No cashiers - which having a cashier to help ring everything up and deal with issues is my preferences. I ended up not buying an item missing a barcode because I didnt see how it could be addressed wuickly without a cashier so I didnt purchase. I probably wouldnt return to this store. read more

Visiting from out of town and this target is soo cute! It's very modern and clean. They have a large cosmetics or personal products section and a Starbucks at the entrance. Plenty of self check out machines and the employees I interacted with were all friendly and helpful.
