I purchased 4 stools for my new kitchen island in 2017. The sales person was extremely helpful and made my shopping experience delightful. Our stools were custom and had a 6-8 week lead time. Kelly's offered stools that were in their warehouse, for us to take and use while the stools were being made. 3 years later, we found our beautiful stools were not holding up as expected. We went back with pictures and the owner stepped in an agreed that the leather should not be ripping and showing as much wear and tear. Kelly's was determined to help us and please us. In the end, we received 4 new beautiful cushions and backs to replace our ripped stools. I can't thank Kelly's enough for being on our side and helping us with this. My mom ordered 4 new dinette chairs from Kelly's Dinettes in September less than one week before being diagnosed with 4th stage Multiple myeloma. They were a special order so they took 6 weeks. We just brought Mom home last week and yesterday the chairs were delivered. They are such beautiful chairs and she was so happy to see them in her kitchen when she woke. If you were to ask the owner what our review would be he would say probably one star. Why? The issue was out of his control, but he communicated with us and made it right in the end. We ordered our custom table in September of 2021 with an anticipated delivery of late December 2021. Unfortunately, due to the mess this pandemic caused there was a supply chain issue for our fabric and a certain part for our chairs. This caused unreasonable delays. John (the owner) offered us a loaner table. Then we changed the fabric because there was no end in sight for the fabric, but still the part for the chair continued to cause delays. Again John offered a loaner table and a full refund. Occasionally I would visit the store to check the status and John would call the representative from the manufacturer and even though their promises were empty, John continued to stay on top of them on a weekly basis and communicated the status to us. Our order ended up being the OLDEST open order in the country for that manufacturer. Finally, just a mere 363 days we had our beautiful set delivered. John generously discounted our table to compensate us for the delays that were out of his control, and despite the insane delays, I would order another dining set from Kelly's Dinettes without hesitation. John is an honorable businessman who, despite problems that are not his, works tirelessly to help the customer and make things right. read more

Fantastic experience from start to finish with Kelly's Dinettes. If you are looking for quality, well-made kitchen and dining furniture then this is the only place you need to go... I first purchased my kitchen stools (& bench) from them and was SO happy with the product upon delivery (and all of the service I received throughout the process) that I decided to buy my dining room table & 10 chairs from them as well. I went in looking for quality, solid wood, well made chairs/stools that I wouldn't have to replace in a year. (Very hard to find in big box retailers.) After separate discussions with both Draz and John about what I was looking for aesthetically (and craftsmanship-wise); they steered me towards the Canadel line. When I asked whether the chairs would hold up over time, John proceeded to turn one of the kitchen stools upside down and jump on it repeatedly to show me that they were solid, well made, and would withstand time. This really solidified my purchase with them! Upon delivery of my kitchen stools & bench, I was in awe of how perfect and well made they were that I visited them again to look for a dining room table. They advised that the retailer was great to work with and could sometimes accommodate modifications to their standard line of sizes (if feasible)... I was able to get a custom width table to accommodate my very large dining room in a 54" x 68/88/108/128". My dining room table is solid wood, perfectly made and is going to last the test of time. I couldn't be any happier. The service I received through both of my significant purchases was well above any service I received from any other retailer...ever. Delivery is not even outsourced - Draz was on site for my delivery to make sure everything well surpassed my expectations and meticulous review of every inch of each piece of furniture. We bought our first kitchen dining set from Kelly's about 17 years ago. It is a solid oak set and has served us well. Because of our great first experience with John at Kelly's, we returned recently to buy another set that would better match our kitchen remodeling style and color choices. We chose a solid birch table with 8 chairs in a toscan stain finish. It was a custom order and took 10 weeks to receive. When the pieces arrived at the store, John graciously unboxed the set to allow us to inspect them before home delivery. I found 4 of the chairs to be poorly finished--some had a huge amount of color variation and blotchiness to them, others had back slats that weren't completely stained. John reached out to the company representative who agreed to a re-order of the four chairs. After another 10 week wait, the chairs arrived, but in my estimation, 3 were as poorly finished as the initial ones. John knew I was not happy with the quality of the workmanship. He could have steadfastly argued that that degree of variation was to be accepted in wood and that there was nothing more he could do. Instead, he said: "Look, I want you to be happy. What can I do to keep you as a customer and maintain Kelly's good reputation?". We discussed it and found a point of compromise that worked for both of us. I thank him and Draz (who also dealt with us throughout the process) for their steadfast patience, understanding and professionalism. Kelly's was not responsible for the manufacturer's poorly finished product, but John was responsible for how he dealt with it and us, and he did so, admirably. We will continue to shop at Kelly's for all our kitchen/dining furniture needs. We highly and heartily recommend this company! read more

What nice people! What beautiful dinette sets! I've been going to Kelly's since I moved to New Jersey in '91 and John has helped me furnish my first two homes, my parents', and countless friends'. They carry tables and chairs of all types, bar stools and even sofas. During my most recent experience there, I walked in without a clue of what I was looking for... there was such an array of options that I just handed John a couple shots of my newly decorated dining room and he worked his magic.
