When I asked for a refund, I was told they would have to clear it with the home office, and a check would be issued. It took me a week of trying to get my refund, finally I reached out to TSO main headquarters, and was told that this TSO is a franchise, so the home office lie was just to delay giving my refund. I called again while I was out, again the lie was repeated, we haven't gotten the check from the home office, so I had to go to the TSO, and make a call in front of them to Mastercard explaining that i was getting the run around. Then the girl who had been lied, told me they close early. I said I;m not leaving, she finally went back to who ever owns this TSO and came back very mad and handed me my check, I sat in the parking lot and deposited it ASAP. It has been hard to find one in the Houston area and I'm glad we found it. We came in for my husband's exam, but ended up getting a new set of glasses for my daughter. They had these cute glasses for kids with cat ears and since they were so great with my husband I decided to get her another pair of glasses. Dr Chen was knowledgeable, pleasant and I could tell he was focused on the customer experience. He took time to double check her current prescription and make sure everything was perfect instead of just rushing the process. There was also someone at the front desk that helped adjust my daughter's glasses and she was very helpful. She showed my kid how to properly take off her glasses and shared what kind of frames she should get next time so they do not slide down her face. I appreciated the time she took to do this. The office is in the Woodlands and I live in Cypress. Even though it is far, I will return for my own exam and glasses.

First, I was charged an additional fee that was not covered by my insurance, but no one informed me about the extra charge beforehand or asked for my approval. In my experience, if there is an additional charge for a service that insurance does not cover, the patient should be informed in advance and given the opportunity to approve or decline the service. More concerningly, they took my glasses to measure the prescription. When my glasses were returned to me, I noticed a very noticeable scratch on the right lens and two lighter scratches on the left lens. I immediately pointed this out, but they denied that the damage had occurred while they were handling my glasses. Every time I went out of the house I cleaned my glasses and inspected them carefully, there were no scratches there before. For the first time in my nearly 40 years of wearing glasses, my glasses were scratched by an eye care provider. Although I ordered these glasses last year, they had been kept in their case because I was still wearing my other old glasses. I have only been wearing this pair for about two or three months, and they are still relatively new because I am a very careful person when it comes to my glasses. Because these are rimless glasses, I take extra care when handling and cleaning them. I paid approximately $400 out of pocket after insurance for these glasses, which have progressive, high-index 1.67 lenses. I'm very upset and saddened by how this situation was handled. I'm considering seeking help to determine what consumer or regulatory remedies may be available. I will not be returning to Glimpse Eye Care. They have lost my family's business.

They have these magnetic frames that you can also buy accessories for you to fit your style or even outfit. I even asked which style of glasses I should get as i'm indecisive and they helped me get a pair that fit me how I wanted it to. Even though I just met them that day, they knew me better than me and now i'm in love with my glasses. My prescription came out great too! I don't think I've ever had a prescription that was that good. The glasses didn't take long to arrive either and for everything all together I did not think it was a bad price. I did get add ons to my glasses like the anti glare and other things. I really do love their customer service as I felt seen and heard with all my concerns and questions. They were all super nice! If you go you should ask about their glasses that are magnetic as they have a lot of different options. I loved them instantly, so you might too. It's better than buying a bunch of different glasses when you can just buy one and get different tops for it.

I got a headache after first use- I googled and found out-if lenses are too dark it can cause eye strain with head aches. The contact lense…read moredepartment here simply refuses to follow what I understand are contract requirements that are followed by other Berkeley eye centers and while I could drive further to another Berkeley eye center to avoid this particular Berkeley, the answer was simple: there are other eye doctors in town willing to process claims correctly. So I simply let my feet do the talking. Adios. Really it's too bad though since I've been going to Mann Berkeley way back in the 90's and then followed Berkeley after the split with Mann. But one bad apple (or store) can ruin everything.
