I expected more from this place than what I actually received. With their two email confirmations, and one phone call (24 hours before my appointment), I believed that I would be seen on time as they provided such great follow ups! Instead, I have been here for over 50 minutes over my scheduled appointment and all I receive is an apology for the doctor running behind. Instead of apologizing, the doctor or the representative from Target optical could have called me in advance to let me know they are running behind so I am not sitting here for over an hour of my time. - You called and emailed me to make sure I come in on time; you could have emailed/called me to let me know that you're running behind. read more

Just had an exam with Dr. Lee this morning. He is great! No wait at all! He does all of the testing himself. He is patient, caring and answers all of your questions. I usually hate getting my eyes checked because it takes so long. Usually, you take one test, sit down, wait 40 minutes, take another test, sit and wait another 30-45 minutes - not here! Everything is done back to back - no waiting around! I highly recommend Dr. Lee! There's also no pressure at all to purchase glasses here if you'd prefer to buy them elsewhere. read more

I love the people who work there.. there's this one woman.. Lisa. I think she may be the manager. She is so helpfull! My dog chewed my glasses and I was soooo upset.. I can't believe this place has bad reviews. I looked up the yelp to get the address because I forgot exactly where this target is. The lady that I felt with Andrea was simply amazing. This was 6/27. I walked in. Never been to target optical before. They have a good selection of glasses and as every girl who wears glasses know we TRY to reinvent ourselves each time and probably only do 10% of the time. I tried on many many pairs and she just stayed with me and put them all away no questions asked. All said and done she got me hooked up with a very cute pair. Sadly I lost them and now I am on my way there to get another pair. I never felt rushed or hassled. They send out their glasses but I was quite satisfied with the turn around time. Overall my experience here was very positive, the only down side to the minus one star is that. Your glasses will take a minimum of 10 days to get them, which is a pretty big bummer. Everyone there was extremely helpful and the warranty seems like a great buy! read more

I have been here before to check out their selection and prices. It's a very small area that tucked away behind the check out stands. They have a small selection and they do not seem to be very knowledgeable about the products. I find it tiresome and troublesome to buy glasses here. I would not trust them with my eyes that's for sure. Word to the wise... go to Costco to pick up glasses and contacts. They have better deals and more knowledgeable people. The service you get can sometimes be good or cranky but at least they know their stuff. The worst part is the line you must wait to get them at Costco. I usually go to another optometrist, but I didn't want to renew my insurance and my usual dr was charging $200 for an exam. I came here even though it was a little more expensive than Walmart. The manager, Charles (I think that is his name) was amazing! So great in customer service.. called my insurance and since I had eye coverage for my children he got me a significant discount. I wasn't even going to buy contacts today bc I was sure I wasn't going to be able to afford it. The doctor was VERY thorough and answered my 1000 questions that I had. I wish we weren't moving because I definitely found a new favorite place for Vision care. read more

I'm really bummed about this place. I decided to go here instead of Walmart (where I've gone for years) I got the target brand frames (99$) but got talked into getting the most expensive lenses with this special coating on them. I asked if they had a warranty and at the time the only thing they had was 90 day replacement. Apparently now they have a warranty program in place. So I had my first replacement at about 30 days after I got them because the "special film" starting chipping off. They said that this never happens and replaced them without a problem. When I got my new ones within a week it started peeling off AGAIN! By this time they had a warranty program in place and said if I wanted I would have to purchase the frames again (99$) and the lenses again too but at a discounted price? Um...NO! So now I'm just walking around with wicked bad chips of missing film that they told me would "help me see way better!" I'm gonna get new glasses soon and will be going back to Walmart. I came here after some idiot broke my frame at my optometrist's office and sent me back to where I purchased my frame (target). There was an awesome girl here who helped me and was super friendly. I am never going anywhere else again!!! I don't care if I have to pay a little more since my insurance doesn't work with target....I recommend this place :) read more

I could not be more pleased with this eye center. I was a bit skeptical because I wasn't sure what kind of care I would get since it was in Target after all. But after trying to make appointments at other eye centers and having to wait for weeks, I decided to give Target a try. First of all, I got my 5 year old daughter and myself, in that same week at a time that worked for us. Dr. Lee was so patient and caring in dealing with my daughter. Everything was so easy, it seemed like it couldn't be true. We were both in and out in an hour and then walked right next door, picked out frames and ordered. We got our glasses the next week and now every time I go in to Target to shop, I stop by and they adjust and clean our glasses for FREE!!! Honestly the nicest people that work there!!!! We will never go anywhere else!!! read more

Dr. Lee and the rest of the office staff are great. There are 4 of us in the family that wear glasses so I'm in there a lot. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for Dr. Lee and he is always thorough and accurate. He is also not afraid to let you know if you may have a condition that he is not equipped to handle. I don't always get my glasses at target but I'll never bring my family anywhere else for eye exams. read more

These guys are great. My wife recently had scratched her eye and was unable to get in to see an Opthamologist as it was late in the afternoon. She called Dr. Lee and he was closing up for the night but was willing to wait for her after hours to help. Then after all this he even checked up on her the next couple of days to make sure she was doing well. Only a few Targets have an optical center and they don't advertise, so it's not crowded, no waiting, better selection than Walmart for nice frames and both the doctor and the staff that work in the optical center are so nice and friendly and engaging. I needed prescription sunglasses and they were done early so they called me! Great service! read more

I had my eyes examined here at Target, and the doctor was extremely thorough for both contacts and glasses. Then I went to the eyeglass section and there were 3 salespeople to help out. They were very knowledgeable about all the variations in lenses, pros and cons of varioius coatings and options. They have a great policy that you can return your new glasses if you don't like them after 90 days of wearing them! How much better could it get. I cancelled my original selection after 5 days, and they totally accomodated me. I would definitely go again. read more

I had a fantastic experience dealing with Target Optical. Two of the people that work their, Mervin and Adena, were of particular help to me. My glasses came back from the lab that Target uses with the lenses sticking out a bit. Mervin and Adena kept sending them back to be corrected, but the glasses kept coming back with the same problem. Mervin and Adena both went out of their way to deal with the lab until the job was done right, and now I couldn't be happier with these glasses. Thanks Merv and Adena! You're the best! read more
